I'm amazed to see such love for Donald Trump. God may use some of his stances like anti abortion and things like that that are good, but the man is egotistical, childish, prideful, adulterous and his saviour is money. I don't see much wisdom or peace in his actions. I don't know much about Biden either but I suspect he's not much different.

I suspect Trump at times may have played into the hands of Christians for his own purposes.

God allows people to have a human leader when the nations refuse to follow him. This we see in the book of Judges.

Never forget though that just because your president claims to follow God, it doesn't mean he actually is. It's also easy to claim God's blessing in a position of power.

God will ultimately be his judge at the end of the day and only God knows his heart but I've observed many basically idolise Trump. He is a man who is sinful like us.

You're right that the data should be held up to scrutiny but it's not impossible to have young people contract and pass it on. There will become a time that lockdowns will become absolutely impossible, but it doesn't hurt to be vigilant and these young people are being reckless.

Mike: Does it matter how many students have been admitted to hospital? This is immature and playing with fire, especially as the US detects more and more infections.

persecuted countries dont gave people sueingvtheir govs because they will just get killed, so they choose to go illegal and underground. Which I also believe we christians should do. Do you think the Chinese are saying, “ oh the real Bible is illegal, ok lets read the fake communist version because we need to obey our leaders”? nope, well, the 3 self churches do
That wasn't my point. This isn't persecution. This is about wider public safety. The USA in parts are digging mass graves for the dead and some are more concerned about opening churches back to normal when other temporary ways of connecting exist.

I don't think this will go far. Anyway, as Christians we need to be responsible in our behaviour in the community we're part of. I see what is being said, other things are opening but churches aren't allowed to open and it is implied to be discrimination or persecution.

Even if it were a form of persecution which is where I feel they're going with it... How many persecuted countries sue their government? I think wisdom needs to be applied here as this virus is causing damage and until the USA can get it under control I'd have thought minimising contact would be a smart thing. It's harder but not impossible to have fellowship in smaller groups or over a phone call... Think about how those in persecution handle it. This I think is only temporary.

When looking at constitutional rights, I find it interesting how people complain about it being violated (in an extreme situation). Consider God may be asking something of us that is a sacrifice compared to what we're used to in the western world.

God and the constitution don't go hand in hand.

Not gossip, but from what he actually said. Think about it too, there wouldn't have been a payout to make her go away if he didn't do anything.

I'm still skeptical. I can't find any other source to back that email dialogue up. A Google search only shows that pulpit and pen site. So a lone site has a transcript that is unverifiable mind you. It doesn't add up.

Jim Lincoln wrote:
Yes, pastors and ministers are to be held to a higher standard and will be judged as such. I absolutely agree. I don't disagree that there are some things I've heard him do that I thought was strange like preaching in a Mormon church. Difference was though, as far as I know he preached the proper gospel to a group of people who had a false one. He didn't compromise as far as I know.

However, most of your posts are rarely conversation about a topic and are just url dumps for people to read. Sometimes these posts are more divisive and inflammatory than the topic demands.

If someone disagrees with an article then discussion is fair enough, but to make a vague comment with an attached url, like you do, doesn't bare much conversation.

Most times I've learnt to just ignore posts that do that because it often feels like one is not actually interested in discussing a topic but is more interested in promoting an opinion piece they've read somewhere.

You say you don't know much about him and you're happy to stay not knowing much about him and his ministry but are prepared to rip him down and promote literature about shortcomings. Why?

John for JESUS wrote:
I didn't have to witness it. I am a hometown boy that passes his church all of the time. Even had him at my church as a guest speaker and heard about it in the local news and read Ravi's own testimony of the facts.
So... Local news... Gossip...

From what I've seen about the issue is that it was in fact the woman who was the offender and it was his own ignorance that got him into that situation. If that's the case, while unfortunate, if he immediately dealt with it by trying his best to cut off conversation, then he hasn't been unfaithful to his wife and sinned.

Can his testimony be found anywhere online?

John for JESUS wrote:
She would send nude photos of herself to him and Ravi would open up the emails to look at them. He threatened suicide when she threatened to reveal their relationship. So, church funds went towards making her go away. He obviously did something or there wouldn't have been a pay off. Then because it was settled out of court, he could dodge questions about it by saying he couldn't talk about it legally. He should have stepped down.
You were a witness to it I gather?

Faith enough quote about using the Dr title but there is no proof of an affair, just a lot of innuendo

Do you believe everything you read or do you just like causing division?

From that article and related articles we see;
Ravi used the term Dr in error due to misunderstanding and some women decided to be evil and make up a sexual assault claim for extortion.

A faithful servant of God has gone home. Have some respect

So in the last two comments you have implied that I am not intelligent or have problems understanding things due to immunusations. That is nonsense.
Then you go back to another political rant. I can see what you are saying about Clinton's immorality but it isn't directly related to the original article of a woman and the courage of sharing the gospel to her offender.

Sorry, I can't take any if your comments towards me seriously.

As I said... filling the thread with junk.

Even if junk is the wrong word I often see posts that I can't figure out a direct link to what is being posted or don't make sense.

Wow...

I never said the scripture was rubbish. I don't believe any scripture is rubbish.

But you have posted junk that is seemingly unrelated. What does Clinton have to do with this case in particular?

Powerful stuff.

Ignominious - is there a reason you crash threads and fill them with junk or stuff that isnt relevant?

Christalone - I understand, you're not on my nerves. It's a legitimate comment. I'm very active in God's mission. At present I'm actually training to be a youth worker (I'm literally on the train to class as I type this) through a Christian based RTO. I already work with youth on a volunteer basis.

As much as I desire a wife, ministry comes first.

I understand many are not believers, many are. I use Christian Connection and I'm very selective about my criteria.

Connor - I'm 30 and have been praying for 10 years. At present there is nobody eligible in my circles but yet I'm called to the area I'm working in. I know godly couples who've met through sites like this.
