Reformed Baptist wrote: Hi Michael - that’s a pretty long documentary. Is it basically the abolitionist movement? I ask because I ran into them back in the day and ended up stepping away from the group because their focus was not on the Gospel.
RB No, it is Not AHA.... I've run into them online myself Babies are Murdered Here has, in my words, developed into End Abortion Now From preachers like Jon Speed to Pastor Jeff Durbin
Cutting to the chase I appreciate Jeff Durbin's and EAN's attitude and approach. Abortion is a Gospel issue, Not the only Gospel issue, he also is much involved in street level apologetics with Mormons, JW's and others and other issues. And how We must be willing to help, even adopt, and we must work towards ending abortion lawfully, until it is illegal and unthinkable, he renounces violenc, disruption of business etc.
if you want something much shorter to watch as a starting point look up and watch on YouTube Jeff Durbin interviewing Ray Comfort Blessings
Sorry Colin just saw your post. Please give my appreciation to the men at Apologia

For any reading this thread Please do watch this thoughtful, knowledgeable Preacher expose Planned Parenthood and give sound reason no born again child of God has any right to promote and vote for candidates [in my words] who support Planned Parenthood.
Julia Just mentioned you again to my wife. I read the article on FoxNews about Jessa and shared what it said with Sarah
Thank you for stirring our interest, we will think of her with thankfulness to God for her faith and God's grace to her
May He also give of His grace to you and those in whatever trails and sinful failures they have gone through, for His mercy and grace is sufficent even to completely forgive of what some think are the worst of sins like murder, adultery, lying, stealing, abortion, idolatry and homosexuality
As my pastor said this morning 'Our future is not determined by our past and our works but by the sufficiency of the finished work of Christ at Calvary'
Yes, This is an awful evil Freedom of Speech is an enormous blessing!
Oops! Shhh! Don't say this too loudly but in and among some Churches and some professing to be believers, The Bible, Biblical Truth, the Commandments of God and His Prophetic Warnings are already treated as 'hate speech.'

Brother John This exchange has gotten seriously off track
Let's see if I can clear something up. Abortion is A Gospel issue. I witness the Gospel, the word of God at the clinic and any other place where I have opportunity... like jail pre-Covid
There is a difference between being pro- life and pro-Gospel The issue at the clinic is sin. Sinners need to be saved from sin... btw when they really are the become pro-Christ, faith, prayer, pro-Bible, Holiness, Great Commision obedience to their Savior, & Yes, even Pro-baby
Lots of learning and groaning to do, and lost souls to see saved
John UK wrote: Brother Michael, can you please give me a NT warrant for doing what you are doing and encouraging others to do?
If empty talk makes you uncomfortable, especially empty talk about actually putting into practice the Great Commission and the Holy Spirit's admonition through Jude to earnestly contend for the faith once delivered.
Perhaps you should seek the Lord about the matter.
let me tell you a true story: Yesterday I met a man with a black tee shirt that said in rainbow colored letters:
'God loves you whether you like it or not and there is nothing you can do about it'
to which in this brief encounter I replied:
You are wrong, there is something you can do You can receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior
Question: Do you want to find fault with that too? I am sure you can find something I didn't do to meet your approval
Comment: It is just my opinion or observation that if C.H. Spurgeon was living in our day we would likely find him from time to time outside an abortion clinic or at a gay pride event speaking to sinners there and even within the church building of their need of Salvation
John UK wrote: Yes indeed, Quiet Brother. The Bible is what God says, it is the word of God. People ignore it at their peril. They are especially without excuse who possess a Bible.
Brother John No! You cannot be serious. Why if people treated the Bible seriously they would have to tremble that: Turning their heads and pretending not to see the evil abomination of abortion, that the littlest of their neighbors are being slaughtered in horrific numbers is evil in the sight of the HOLY GOD we say we worship
With so many in the pews and pulpits of, dare I even use the word Churches, preach of Grace and all sorts of wonderful Biblical Doctrine in His Name among themselves in the safety of their churches, and do many wonderful things in His Name
BUT so like the Priest and the Levite when they saw the man beaten and robbed just went around him to the other side of the road to their own business and interests
We need to repent, confess our sins and own our guilt
So, dear SermonAudio posters Prehaps you ought to find an abortion clinic near you, stand outside pray, weep, plead, preach the Gospel
Write letters to people Encourage the Righteous Rebuke the wicked Beg God for mercy lest His fierce righteous anger burn against us
Frank wrote: Well perhaps being in prison would result in this man being saved. At present he is the pastor of a very Charismatic church. That means they believe in the below among other things:
Dear Frank Really
I don't know this pastor or what he believes or not. But I do know enough about the "Charismatics there can be a and often is a wide range of what they believe and approve of.
Perhaps, you and I can pray for him, even that God would use him and others despite their faults for His glory and as a testimony to bring sinners to repentence and genuine faith in Christ to be saved from sin and belong forever to Him
He has taken a public stand against evil hasn't he, something quite different than merely finding fault nice and safe on the internet
Adriel wrote: ""who believe it is important to ‚Äúrecommit to principles of freedom that inspire peaceful coexistence rather than division‚ÄĚ.""
Isn't this imitating "Evangelicals and Catholics Together"??? Ecumenicalism??? Does this debate boil down to who has the best arguments? or debaters?
Sometimes division is good - even necessary.
EG: Protestant versus Roman Catholic!!! EG: Orthodox versus Liberalist!!! 2Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of."
Adriel Yes! Thank you
As a now saved born again child of God, former, never to be again RC, it is so important for people to know the irreconciable differences between Biblical Faith in Christ and RC Religion
I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent (in context those who did not repent) and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, it seemed good in Your sight.
Dear hey_yo I am so sorry, for you, to read your post, because despite coming across a someone very religious, you write as someone who isn't saved (isn't born again, regenerate) let alone filled with the Holy Spirit who knows God and genuinely loves His Word
This is NOT so much for "hey_yo" but for a sweet encouragement for all of you sinners, like me, now saved by the mercy and grace of God, everyone of us "who-so-evers" God has so LOVED, for whom the Holy Son of God died and rose for us to be our Salvation!

Colin wrote: Brother Michael please don’t stop pleading for those dead in their sin at these locations. Lord willing I will continue to do so at the mills by me. Grace and peace be multiplied to you.
Colin Thank you so much for the encouragement. May our Father in heaven grant us many colaborers. Grace and Peace be multiplied to you, and all with you as well.
I feel zero conviction to argue, picket, or try to 'win them over' to salvation.
hey_yo First sometimes Murder is NOT just Murder, it is human sacrifice to demons.
Second Zero conviction? or do you mean "feelings" Either way you just might have a problem
For the witness, picket outside an abortion clinic, or any other dark, dangerous and unpleasant place [to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom of the Risen Son of God, Jesus Christ] isn't for your feelings, it is for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake
as it is written: Deliver those who are drawn toward death, And hold back those stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, ‚ÄúSurely we did not know this,‚ÄĚ Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds? Proverbs 24:11,12
And again it is written: And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‚ÄúAll authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.‚ÄĚ Amen.
