Thankfully such unprofitable conjecture was not evidence on which the jury made their findings. If you have a point to make here, and it is far from clear what it is, then it seems you do not stand by the jury after all.
You could equally say that the DA obviously had a reason TO charge George Zimmerman, and that they would have no reason to want to upset his father who they knew to be a judge.

2. The jury made their decision based upon the legal direction given to them by the judge. I said "the law is wrong" and demonstrated how a reasonable working of a self-defence law ought to apply in such a case.

We do know that. 1. He was advised by the police that they did not need him to follow him (or words to that effect). 2. Zimmerman's own statements that were presented as evidence in court.
On the basis of the evidence presented in court, the only person who had a right to self-defence was the deceased victim who had the lawful right to be where he was and was being pursued.
The facts demonstrate this beyond a reasonable doubt.
