Believe on Christ is a COMMAND, not an invitation! Words fail me to describe the clarity, simplicity and power of this message on the COMMAND to BELIEVE on CHRIST! In this day the Gospel message is presented as an invitation, like this Pastor has brillantly illustrated,to a wedding, a party, etc., which are invitations you can refuse, not a command which is to be obeyed. This message was an eye opening truth I never really saw before. I thought of Billy Graham and his famous crusades and how he would "invite" people to "walk the aisle" and "come to Christ." Sadly, many people accepted the "invitation" and no doubt, some may have been genuinely converted in spite of this methodology, not because of it. Also, how much more is God glorified in the salvation of a sinner when His command is obeyed, by His grace, than a "God" who must wait to see if you "accept" His "invitation."
Great Sermon! Thank you, thank you for this excellent message. As I listened to this, it spoke to everything I'm going through right now in my life. For far too long I thought I was the only one who could experience the things you have spoken of. I believe that many Christians are too proud to admit their weaknesses and inner turmoil for fear they would be seen as weak, or they wonder what people would think of them if they showed the "weakness" of fear, depression, failures, etc. Thank you for reminding us that we need to "get real" with God and with people.
A Most Blessed Word from the LORD Truly Blessed and comforted. A full sermon revealing a prophecy, the prophecy fulfilled, a falling away with warning, and the entreaty to receive the gospel. Truly balm for those wanting to hear GOD's Word.
Great Sermon! I lived in Arlington, VA when I was in 1st and 4th grade( my dad was in the military.) While living there,I developed a life long love for history.I visited all the usual tourist spots, including Robert E. Lee's mansion. After listening to this message, it puts a new perspective on what the Civil War was really all about. You have a passion for truth and wish every American could hear this account of history. Thank you for your labor of love and for sharing this amazing history!
Great Sermon! You are a truly gifted Preacher of the Word! I am adding this message to the 62 other messages of yours that I have downloaded. Your many messages have encouraged and lifted me up at some of the lowest times of my life. This message is another one I will be listening to over and over again. GOD richly bless you, Pastor McClelland!
Great Sermon! Such a beautiful presentation of our Christ; He the Head we the Body of Christ! Can’t wait to see Him in the air to be with Him, and all the brothers and sisters In Christ, Yahushua.
Great Sermon! Here I am listening to this message for the first time 13 yrs. later and EVERYTHING has happened as you warned!! Things are far worse and for the life of me, I don't understand why we,the people, are willing to just stand by and watch this country implode! So many of our politicians do NOT have our welfare at heart. All I know is if America goes down, the whole world goes down.Even so, come LORD JESUS!
A Very Sobering Sermon ! This is one of the most sobering messages I have ever heard!I can't think of anything more horrifying than to think oneself saved, only to discover in death, it was not so.
2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves whether ye be in the faith.
Great Sermon! Excellent message! I will be listening to this one again and again. I love the doctrine of God's providence, because I for one don't want to believe I have control over my own life, the sinful being that I am, how much better to trust and be led by the perfect God.
Great Sermon! Excellent Sermon, wish I'd heard it years ago, could have known more victory than defeat in trials, but given the very essence of this message, God, in His providence, had me hear this message in His perfect timing. I will be listening to this message over and over again, and have added it to my list of downloads. Thank you and God bless you!
