]]Origin of Species Ray Comfort Into edition Kirk Cameron distributed this annotated OriginsKirk got a lot of opposition as an open Evangeligal Christian http://www.people.com/people/mobile/article/0,,20307814,00.html "But never has he ruffled so many feathers, especially among academics, as he has this week, slamming evolutionary theory as untrue, inherently un-Christian and the driving force behind some of the most horrendous catastrophes of the 20th century, including Adolf Hitler's plan to destroy "inferior races." "You can see where [Hitler] clearly takes Darwin's ideas to some of their logical conclusions and compares certain races of people to lower evolutionary life forms," Cameron says. "If you take Darwin's theory and extend it to its logical end, it can be used to justify all number of very horrendous things." Cameron, who lives outside of Los Angeles with his wife of 20 years, Chelsea Noble, and their six children, realizes that he is making himself a target by being so outspoken, but is willing to do so for a cause that he believes so strongly in. "I am proud to bring this to people's attention," he says. Bible notes from Evidence Bible:KJV Comfort edition(pg54) |

Blood study Got me moving on in Acts to 20:28 and the Blood of God, or the Blood of His Own: Our Unique Savior I remember a missions trip study of this vs with a friend using a Gideon's Bible(AV)- we grabbed the Hotel version to use since he had a different version.Acts 20:28 " Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood." .... The one blood of an Adamic race- all related- contrasts with the unique Blood of the second Adam who bought the Church with His blood. The Origin of The Church(Acts)better read then racist Darwin's "favored races" myth. Pastor Don Fortner had good sermon notes on the blood of God http://www.donfortner.com/sermon_notes/58_hebrews/heb%2010v05%20A%20Body%20Hast%20Thou%20Prepared%20Me%202200.htm Jesus Christ, the Son of God, having assumed our nature, is forever one of us. He is really, and truly, and forever “the Man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5). Jesus Christ our God is a real man. Christ died as a man; but because he is God, his blood is of infinite merit (Acts 20:28). Thus one blood of ch 17 contrasts with God's blood of ch 20 In Him we are one new nation thru His blood- |

Christian wrote: "blood." Please- Look at your first post about this verse -- The issue is the existence of a word in original Gk TO TranslateNot HOW it may be translated. I get the impression that you did not look up the Greek text, & would like to know , if I am wrong, if you were proposing your own translation of "haima(Gk) as "man"- or were you referencing a particular work that thinks Haima(Gk) can be translated that way? If that is the case, Which? Or do you say Greek for One is translated To mean "one man"? I'd call that paraphrase. -- Context was below other's earlier post-- KJB "bibles rebuke racism, but Acts 17:26 "blood" has been omitted by the DR, RV, Ne, NIV, NKJV marg., RSV, GN, LB, NASV, NEB, NWT, JB. AMP brackets "one blood." "blood" is found in all four families of manuscripts, in the majority of manuscripts and cited in writings dating from the 2nd century. Berry's Greek text supports the AV1611." --- Was what you first posted about. That is the key point. Does the word meaning "blood" exist as God preserved it? The Tritarian Bible link I gave you was pointing toward that point. Or am I confused when I think you are confused?? Elucidate |

Christian wrote: God made every You seem confused. "One blood" is a translation of extant Preserved Greek textWhat you cite is NOT translation, but paraphrase. Hugh Ross will tell you, as will John Ankerberg, that "monkey men"are your forefathers is a good "evangelical" position. They came to this by "knowing" there's no perfect Word from God.
there's a Big difference between translations that say God made every nation of man from "one blood" and translations that say He made them from one(supply a word here) "monkey."? Made from one "woman"? Made from one "myth"? If one does not regard the exact words God Preserved, as worthy of doctrine- your point remains inane : all men came from one -"fish?"? Why are you adding the word "man"? - racism is possible when there is a "counterfeit bible" based ideology. The KJV is a translation from which you could draw that truth that God preserves His Word in an absolute Truth and to take a Position that "no bible exists that is Preserved by God" as a stable foundation for doctrine is to be dishonest. We need only look at the evolutionist PCUSA, United Methodist , Episcopalian, RCC etc to see the end of rejection of propositional revelation. http://www.tbsbibles.org |
