Mark 2:7 was the very Scripture the Holy Spirit brought to mind when I saw this headline. God manifest in the flesh--Jesus Christ--has the authority to forgive sin. The pope does not, as he isn't, never was, and never will be God.

Does anyone know if our brother Unprofitable Servant is well? I believe he's in TN but not sure if his family is in Nashville.

Meanwhile, who is keeping the home and guiding the house? Who is helping the husbands? Who is bringing up the children?

I Timothy 5:14, 6:10, and Titus 2:3-5 all come to mind.

I'm recalling Titus 2:3-5, I Timothy 5:14, and MacArthur's recent admonition to Beth Moore to "go home"!

It's shameful that so many professing Christian women are offended by plain Biblical truth.

A life wasted as a fornicator and a whoremonger; how sad and foolish. The residue of his sin will surely impact his marriage.

Still, I pray that God restores the years that the locusts have eaten and that Mr. Grant will be converted to Christ.

Thankful to God wrote:
Why won't the feminists just relax and let men do what God designed them to do while obeying God's will for women?
Because they hate God's will and are in rebellion against it. Women are the weaker vessel and also the means through which God brings life into the world. The mere idea of women being in the military is utterly ridiculous. It causes distraction and weakens the morale of the male soldiers and the entire military operation in general, making America vulnerable and putting her at unnecessary risk.

Women need to be at home {Titus 2:3-5; I Timothy 5:14}. This calling and ministry is suffering greatly, because too many women want to be like men.

Yep, and this is the end result of woman's suffrage.

@ Carl, Douglas, Frank, John UK,

I have noticed the adversary using women to advance evil in society as well. It began in Genesis 3.

So many problems would be solved if women were occupying their God-given station as keepers at home, guiding the house and under the headship of godly husbands and fathers. I routinely think about how damaging feminism is.

No mention of the elephant in the room i.e. parental divorce. It means that young people enter adult life less resilient and less confident, and with their emotional batteries only half-charged. This plays out over a lifetime. Most people don't want to hear this sombre truth but if you want your kids to do well make it your job to have a strong marriage, even when your kids are grown up. It gives them a strong base for life and means they can possibly present their own children with intact grandparents down the line. Not a bad outcome...
Thanks for your comment; this is a good point. Divorce--period--is often the elephant in the room.

The workplace in general makes women more unfeminine, because they are not to be there to begin with! God made women to be keepers at home and to guide the house {Titus 2:3-5; I Timothy 5:14}.

This is why women have the makeup and the attributes they do; it suits the home well, but when out of its place, disaster occurs.

I struggled to some degree with math when I was in school, but I must say it never occurred to me to "blame the white man" for it. Good grief!

Exodus 20:14 is not outdated. Adultery is as much a sin as it ever was.

I understand the concerns of this man's wife. I certainly would not want a husband travelling alone with and having dinners together with any woman other than me, his wife! Such is a godly jealousy {II Cor. 11:2} to preserve obedience to God's word and spare reproach to His name, as well as to uphold one's own name and testimony. Yet again, trouble surfaces when women are not keepers at home, as the Bible commands.

"Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall" {Proverbs 16:18}.

Thanks; I wondered if someone quoted this when I clicked to read the comments!

My definition of a feminist, Adriel, is a woman who hates men—and does her best to look and act like one.
Yep. Feminists hate men, yet they want to be men and are perpetually envious of them.

It just totally defies all logic and reason.

Frank wrote:
There is “no American politician” that will simply say homosexuality is an abomination in God’s eyes and all those that practice it will suffer His wrath. Our culture will say that is a form of judgment, but it is simply repeating what God’s word says. What that means to me is fame and notoriety are more important than the word of God and that applies to many who claim the name of Christ.

Homosexuality is an abomination, abortion is murder, greed is idolatry, the feminist movement is evil in any form and Christianity is an exclusive faith.
Luke 6:46 “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?

I think even the politicians who profess to be Christian regard Biblical Christianity as a liability to their careers.

I appreciate your comment regarding feminism. I hear some people make a distinction between moderate and radical feminism, as if the former is OK. Feminism has ALWAYS been rooted in rebellion against God's authority and His having made us male and female. The female is to be an help meet for her husband, look well unto the ways of her household, do her husband good and not evil all the days of her life, be a keeper at home, bear children, etc.

Thanks for your comment and God bless.

Great comments Frank and Douglas Fir. When women aren't following God's will, much trouble ensues.

In times past, most didn’t curse around women, children or in front of people they knew it would offend.
I wish I could recall the "times past" of which you speak; it's largely before my time.

These days, some women have a more profane vocabulary than some men. Cursing was one of the things feminist women wanted to do so they could be "like men." They hate ladylikeness and Biblical feminine virtues {modesty, shamefacedness, discretion, etc.}.

Frank wrote:
Yes, I have always said that the real war against women is when society seeks to make them relevant in ways that God didn't intend for them.
Greetings, Brother Frank. Yes, the real war on women is against them marrying, bearing children, guiding the house, being keepers at home, submissive to their own husbands, the aged women teaching the young women the things they are to teach them in Titus 2:3-5, etc. In other words, everything that is Biblical.

Feminists are perfectly fine with women choosing to do anything and everything--except submitting themselves to God and obeying Scripture.
