Boston Illegal wrote: We declared our independence? But nothing like this? Lawless rebellion against the Crown was like sodomy. Lawlessness and sodomy go hand in hand in the Bible. You bequeathed this evil to yourselves. "Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm. But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust." Revolution = Rebellion?Sin + Machine Age = Doom? Rebellion begets Rebellion? |

Street-Preacher wrote: Sorry "kjv" IS STILL A LYING LIAR !HE MUST REPENT ! Dear Mr. Street-Preacher,There's not a lie here. Therefore there's nothing to repent of. This is a matter of logic. All Protestants can and should consider this. Which of the following statements is illogical to you and why? (a.) Rock & Roll, insane speaker volumes, moshpits, all used to "Sell God," are accretions causing Protestants to drift off course. (b.) Sola Scriptura -- literally, the "Bible alone" -- means the Bible, the whole Bible and nothing but the Bible. (c.) Anything added, either oral or written, to Scripture is an accretion causing Protestants to drift off course. Yours in Christ, KJV |

Street-Preacher wrote: Sorry "kjv", YOU'RE STILL A LYING LIAR ! *REPENT ! Dear Mr. Street-Preacher,You huff, you puff, you thump your Bible and beat your chest, but you have not substantiated your accusation(s). Sola Scriptura -- lit. "The Bible alone" -- means the Bible, the whole Bible and nothing but the Bible. Rock and Roll, insane speaker volumes, moshpits or anything added, either oral or written, to Scripture are accretions blowing Protestants off course. In Christ, KJV |

Street-Preacher wrote: "kjv" Is A LIAR !"kjv" Is LYING ! You're SHOUTing Mr. Street-Preacher. If you want someone to understand you, it's best to use conventional English rules including upper *and* lower case letters. Relative to "Selling God" and since your answers were largely unrelated the first two times, can you share your succinct answer to this? Please provide a coherent explanation relative to your accusation(s). Thank you, KJV |

John UK wrote: Of course, if a person is born anew and has the Spirit, and spends his time reading and studying God's word alone, and then after thirty years writes down his understanding of what the Bible teaches on each doctrine, he will inevitably write down a comparable document to the 1689 Baptist confession. Sola Scriptura = The Bible, the whole Bible and nothing but the Bible -- all other writings, recordings, commentaries, confessions are accretions, barnacles, on the many Protestant hulls.(E.g., LBCF 1689 = Bible accretion.) |

Mike wrote: That won't happen to genuine committed Christians. Matthew 7:13,14 "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." How would you make Jesus' words "few there be" apply to the RCC, the largest of the "denominations"? Per the Bible and Canon Law, many Catholics are self-excommunicating -- that is their unrepentant sinful "lifestyles" have cut them off from communion. Thus, unless they repent they shall not inherit eternal life. According to Jesus: "Straight is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be who find it" (Matthew 7:14). |

John Yurich USA wrote: I have attended Divine Liturgy in a couple of Eastern Orthodox Churches and the Divine Liturgy lasted 2 hours in duration. When I get married in the Catholic Church I am going to request that the entire Nuptial Mass be sung which will make it last about 2 hours in duration. Outstanding John! Sung Holy Mass in Latin? Absolutely beautiful. Congratulations! |
