That Mr. Floyd was very likely murdered by a renegade cop is tragic indeed, but that doesn’t mean he was a hero who deserves to be lionized. If we’re going to go around pinning angels’ wings on mortals, maybe we should reserve a few for the multitude of good cops who have had to go in harm’s way for the past week because of the misdeeds of a handful of bad cops in Minneapolis.
