One thing we can be sure of is that He will come when we think not. “Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour ye think not”. Everyone seems to be waiting for the mark of the beast but history shows that seals, libelli, were given to those who would burn incense to Cesar. Those people were allowed to participate in commerce. Not thrown into prison or executed. This could be a type and shadow of future events, just like the exodus is, but regardless, we are told to be ready.
Luk 12:8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: Luk 12:9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
I encourage all to look up the “economy of Francis”. Rome is much more powerful than we give credit. It’s important for us to be informed of these things and to expose evil, as Paul says.
