Dolores wrote: Cont.I hate texting , my grandkids have to call me and they know this. To me the phone texting has taken away communications among family members. My grandkids are texting even as I try to hold a conversation with them. SA needs to put an article on here about the texting craze. I see kids playing games on their Ipads at church and remember as a child sitting quietly and listening. I remember hours spent outdoors in warm weather and am thankful I had that sort of childhood. I hear you sister. I guess if the telephone was our parents addiction when they were young, and the TV was, and still is an addiction of our generation, the cell phone is the addiction of this generation. I mean they are having to fire people from banks because the tellers have their face stuck in the phone all day long. Even when they are told up front that there is absolutely no cell phone use allowed. I guess the next generation will have electrodes stuck to the head and their brains will be connected to the internet, and they can see it all broadcast in front of their eyes. Look out on the highway then. |
