“ A Very Desirable Sermon! ”
I took many good notes from this wonderful exposition of second Timothy: verses one and two. I found myself applying the word in my own life and felt challenged to love those spiritual fathers and mothers the Lord has given me, deeply and more appreciatively. The Lord puts really beautiful and wise treasure in older saints and I pray that I will think about being a Timothy in my relationships. Really good teaching.

I really appreciate the distinctive stand of this denomination and other similar minded believers who sincerely long to serve Christ and to reflect His glory through living the glorious and courageous set apart life that is given to the true believer by the Holy Spirit. "For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." Matthew 12:50 Another beneficial teaching Dr. Allison

“ Wonderful, Delightful Sermon! ”
Pastor John, Thank you for the wonderful reminder that our Lord is delighted with us. He Sovereignty delights in us! I have struggled with assurance of God's love for me because of my past sins. Thank you for the clarity of this message, it gives me new light and new faith for the promises of God to me in my life and the lives of all I hold dear. God bless you and your family, dear friend and brother in the Lord.

I do not believe that the propaganda of gay late teens being kicked out of the house is as prevalent as the course of a true prodigal. Often a prodigal shuns the parent and leaves on their own. The problem with Moore's supposition is the the hayseeds are chasing their children out of the home. If your home is a Godly home where Christ's love and standard of holiness is taught, often a person who is living a sinful and self loathing life will up and leave as they cannot hear the truth of the gospel as they are being blinded. Parents are hurt deeply because of a child's prodigal living. This is a difficult process and I find that the only one to change a child's bent toward sin is Christ himself. The parent may very well have too let a child leave for Christ to do an effective work in their life. But often your child will not change, but God's standard cannot be compromised , yes love your child but Christ rules all things and know all things, even when we do our best. ~ I also appreciated these thoughts. I have a child who has struggled with the sin of Sodomy. It is as you say here in your post. This is a difficult issue and we must rest soundly the Bible as our authority to help our loved ones and this culture.

“ Great Sermon! ”
As I was listening to this message I felt myself cry out to be under the influence of the Holy Spirit. I want to be guided and live in the Holy Spirit, conscious of His presence, more conscious of His grace that supports me and allows me to live in His will for my life. His grace adds temperance to a oft times, cranky, weary saint and allows me to live in adoring relationship of him, while giving the power to subdue old passions and dead ways of the flesh. Thank you for this message.

“ Needed more than Ever! Great Sermon! ”
Thank you for teaching on this. I love my brethren and I have learned much in the way of theology. But holiness, and sin condemned is often over looked. I grieve for my brethren. I grieve for this nation. I grieve for myself and my own failings before the Lord. God give us strength to endure and intercede for the ones who just don't get it yet. Thank you. Feeling comforted

“ Yes! Amen! ”
I long for the holiness and the prayer power of the prophet Elijah bringing down the power of God unto repentance in my own life and in the lives of my children, my precious grand child and the body of saints where I worship the Lord. I pray for holiness and God's purifying fire to inflame the hearts and burn off the dross and corruption. I pray that the Lord will burn away and consume the corruption in our lives, our homes, our places of work, our churches, our cities and towns and in the world. The church SHOULD be different. Thank you for preaching about the worldliness in our churches. It's sad, but when I point out the worldliness or make a case for choosing to separate, confessing brothers and sisters in the church, kick at the goad!!! I pray that God will consume the corruption in our churches and in our lives. Great sermon.

"Very" Therapeutic. I needed this sermon. I have Lyme Disease, so it's easy to become "me" centered, even in the midst of illness. I listen to Rev Wagner;s sermons quite a bit, I am blessed every time I listen. Thank you.

I don't agree with this article. It almost seemed "anti-intellectual anti-berean". Dr. MacArthur's ministry has helped our family, TWICE, out of bad churches. We didn't know what a good preacher was until we started listening to Dr. MacArthur exegete the scriptures fully! Then we were able to follow the roots of his ministry and many others, back to the Reformation! Then we found a faithful church, listening online to the sermons before we actually attended the services. As for the all the faithful ministers of the gospel? In a city/metropolitan area of approximately 250,0000 people, we know of 3 ministers faithfully teaching the full counsel of God. We wandered around the evangelical wasteland, for years, without even hearing about the means of grace! So, my little rant is, Good Pastors and men who are guarding the pulpit are difficult to find, and I am thankful for the resources available to the sheep. WE love and appreciate our pastors, but we do utilize the giftedness of other well known pastors and ministries, given to the body of Christ for our edification. God Bless everyone.

“ Sobering Sermon ”
Thank you for being a courageous church body and for preaching to the Apostasy that is consuming the "Visible" church. Often times, sincere believers who are troubled by the worldliness and the apostasy of this age, are criticized as "legalistic" or divisive, when they are seeking to honor the Lord in EVERY area of life. It is reassuring to me that other true Christians across the globe are seeking to honor God according to His word. I listen to the Free Presbyterian sermons, quite a lot and am blessed immensely.

What a Blessing! I am going through a trial. Thank you for reminding me that I am shut in with the Lord, just as surely as Noah and his family and the admonition to honor God with my best, in thanks to Him for His tremendous mercy. I especially appreciated the reference to the sweet smelling incense and how it draws out God's heart to our hearts. I pray God uses this sermon to encourage the hearts of all those who listen in faith.
