Thank you, Carol, pray that happens also. And, sorry, my previous comment got cut off (this is my first time commenting on Sermonaudio) Here is the rest of it: How can a real man support this like that designer in this article. I wonder if he is a witch himself? And, I wonder if he is gay or effeminate? And, who in their right mind would host an event like that in their church? You can tell he did that on purpose to mock Christianity. And, I don't think the Bible doesn't say anything good about pigs. It reminds of 2 Peter 2:22 "But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire." (KJV) |

I am a 28 year old single woman, and I grew up in a largely female dominated household/family. My parents divorced when I was 3 months old. My dad wasn't in my life. And even though I love my family, I don't want to follow in their foot steps. I want to marry a godly man, be a submissive housewife, and be a homeschooling mom.I came to Christ in 2012 after listing to a Christian radio station called, Moody Radio. Though my walk has been up and down, I still believe Jesus is God's only begotten son, he is God that came in human form, and will be coming again. I also believe that God preserved his word in writing. With all that said, I look at my family and most of them had kids out of wedlock, divorced, single parents, fornicating, in and out of relationships, etc. And, I'm tried of it! Most of my family supports the feminists agenda but I don't see how feminism has helped our family relationship wise. Just try getting your ideas and points across with a group of Jezebels while being an introvert. That Jezebel spirit and ideologies has wrecked my relationships with some family members; it's a monster in the workplace (I've witnessed this personally). How can a real man support this like that designer in this article. I wonder if he is a witch himself? And, I wonder if he |

Great Sermon! When Christ is really preached, all idols, including false images of Christ, fall. |

"Thus far, only the King James Bible meets this requirement, unless you want to count the Geneva, Bishop's, Coverdale, Tyndale, Wickliffe. Apart from those I know of no other that translate from the original hebrew and greek."Wow, how hard did you look? The Holman CSB is translated directly from Greek/Hebrew for one. To be honest, I think that translation is MUCH better then the KJV. Only the Holman and Goodspeed translate δοῦλος (doulos) correctly as slave. Not ONCE in the KJV do they keep God's word and translate this VITAL term correctly. Without it, readers are left with the impression that we are His servants not His slaves. There is NO other definitions of doulos, none. Doulos always means slave, and the KJV and all other translations do a grave disservice to God's people by translating it wrong! |

Blind faith, in any case, even mine, is like building in sand. I only meant to say that there is nothing wrong with the KJV, and if someone studies *themself* the issue and still believes that the KJV is the only word of God, so be it.However, I think it is dangerous to take what people tell you are face value- even trusted ones. Even Paul comended the early chuch for seeking our the truth and not just trusting what he said. By open minded I meant reading resources written by the opposing view point, just as one sent to be a missionary in India would find out about Hinduism and their worldview. As for me, yes, I have read KJO resources. I feel I cannot be for or against something without knowing both sides, more so a topic as important as the Word of God. I think the KJO make a good point regarding the TR, but even that is NOT perfect. Honestly, If the KJO feel they should not read anything but the inspired Word, it's time to learn Greek and Hebrew! (Which is a good idea) Almost any version paired with a strongs dictionary will be an exellant way to read the Word as long as it is with the understanding that NO english version will be all that the original inspired Greek and Hebrew are. |

To really understand the issue both sides should read "The King James only controversy, Can you trust modern translations?" By James White. The real shame comes when the KJO crowd is so close minded and sure they are right and everyone else is possesed that they stop obeying the bible itself! Are we not called on by God to study and show ourselves approved? Should there not also logicly apply to what translation of the Word we use? How many KJO people have looked at the other side with and open mind instead of trusting what their pastor, theologian, or parents said? As a whole, we (the church) have spent more time fighting within there I am not suprised that more and more people dispise us. The sheer hatred and venom that the KJO crowd spread only hurts the message of the Gospel. Now can we tell people about a God of love when half His followers are busy hating the other half? |
