The same God tells us how to nurture spiritual babes, my advice would be I Peter 2: 2 not MG's books

Spurgeon the Prince of Preachers spoke well of George Fox; even the Revised Version. It is difficult to pin Fox down; one minute he appears pure gospel, the next he follows 'inner light'. Bad theology of course gave rise to the excesses of the Quakers and then imbibed by the Charismatic movement.

Wesley was carried away by perfectionism and influenced by Guyon but warned:
AD 1776
" 'The grand source of all her mistakes was this, the not being guided by the written word. She did not take the Scripture for the rule of her actions; at most it was but the secondary rule. Inward impressions, which she called inspirations, were her primary rule. The written word was not a lantern to her feet, a light in all her paths. No; she followed another light, the outward light of her confessors, and the inward light of her own spirit.' (An extract of the Life of Madam Guion. By John Wesley)

You'll find every charismatic quack recommends Guyon's works, why? (google?). The reason is quite clear if you read other posts and it is hard to pin down her theology even after priso

But where is her calling upon Christ for salvation. Many RC's can speak of conviction of sin. Was she a baptised RC hence her looking within for God who already dwelt there?

See the last paragraph of page 31 and the first 2 paragraphs from her autobiography, cop the link, it works!

But there is nothing of her conversion and she hardly mentions Christ even in her autobiography, He seems to have always dwelt in her heart. Is that Biblical? If you care to enlighten us further on her beliefs? How was she converted?

"God reveals throughout this wonderful passage the powerful lesson of Abraham’s faith in Romans verses 18-25 of Chapter 4.
“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness” (verses 20-22).
Download this powerful teaching today!

I could quote Benny Hinn with some good stuff, if I was very, very selective. Even find he believes the trinity and salvation as follows
https://www.bennyhinn.org/salvation/

If I didn't know any better I might even order his 'powerful teaching' from Romans above.

Where would a babe end up then? What would you recommend the babe do?

MG's conversion?

Here's something from one who read her works and also exposed Benny Sin.

The Mindless Mysticism of Madame Guyon

Countering the Myth of Intermittent Deification and Sinless Perfection

Guyon wrote of no conversion, only a presupposition that Christ was always in her heart. Thus she started her incredible lifelong journey within. She responded to the Lord, ‘‘Thou wast in my heart, and demanded only a simple turning of my mind inward, to make me perceive Thy presence. ... The kingdom of God is within you.’’

Guyon’s beliefs do not even come close to biblical Christianity. What she proposes is sheer essence mysticism and Catholicism mutated into even more horrible errors. That man could become like God was one of the first lies held out by Satan to Adam and Eve (Genesis 3). That Moody Press would continue to propagate this lie is beyond comprehension.
http://www.pfo.org/Madame%20Guyon.pdf

The above is a 5 page expose by G Richard Fisher who also wrote The Confusing World Of Benny Hinn, now updated with information below from the Berean Call

In these times of apostasy we see the so called Church of England - Anglican and Episcopalians - constructing unbiblical heretical moves such as this to please the sinners. Their religion is NOT Christian - It is Liberalism.

Liberalism grows from the equally wicked seed of Arminianism.

"Proverbs 4:14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
4:17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.
4:19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble."

John Calvin stated.
"Some persons think us too severe and censorious when we call the Roman pontiff Antichrist. But those who are of this opinion do not consider that they bring the same charge of presumption against Paul himself, after whom we speak and whose language we adopt... I shall briefly show that (Paul's words in II Thess. 2) are not capable of any other interpretation than that which applies them to the Papacy." Taken from Institutes by John Calvin.

Thomas Cranmer (Anglican)
"Whereof it followeth Rome to be the seat of antichrist, and the pope to be very antichrist himself. I could prove the same by many other scriptures, old writers, and strong reasons." (Referring to prophecies in Revelation and Daniel.) Taken from Works by Cranmer, Vol. 1, pp. 6-7.

Martin Luther
"We here are of the conviction that the papacy is the seat of the true and real Antichrist...personally I declare that I owe the Pope no other obedience than that to Antichrist." (Aug. 18, 1520)

Steve. Its not about the incumbent individual but about the papal antichrist office.

"A careful study of prophecy and world history shows us that Papal Rome grew out of Imperial Rome. In Daniel chapter seven we have the foretelling of the rise of four great world empires.

Each of these great empires is represented by a particular beast.

The Fourth Beast

In Daniel 7:7 the rise of Imperial Rome is depicted. Rome followed Greece as the fourth great world empire. The 'ten horns' are the ten divisions of the Roman Empire - Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Britain, Sumatria, Parmonia, Asia, Greece and Egypt."

I'm still scratching my head over this one. A sodomite, a tranny, and a lesbian calling themselves born again Christians, touring with other "Christian"groups, singing praise and worship songs. Huh?
Not unlike the openly gay Episcopal Pastors, how in the world do they justify this and reconcile it with the Bible? However they do it, talk about some twisted logic.
There are groupings of so called "Gay" Christians worldwide who view one of their main objectives as rewriting or re-interpreting those portions of Gods word which condemn their perversion.

See for instance http://www.courage.org.uk/

This site includes an archive by a once famous 'reformed' pastor who abandoned his wife and children to pursue a perverts life and now spends most of his time trying to demonstrate from the bible that homosexuality is not sin!

Sorry, mid-spelt the name. It is C. J. Mahaney.

Beware of him! Despite writing the Charismatic Chaos in recent years he has been mixing with the likes of Mehaney etc.

In his teaching you need to find the wheat and reject the chaff!

The implication of this statement by Franklin Graham and his daddy's organisation is that they accept Mormonism as of equal status to their theological beliefs. In other words they see them as Christian and Biblical.

Where does this blindness come from?

Arminianism.

The Biblical Reformers such as the Canons of Dordt writers were correct Arminianism is dangerous, unBiblical and heretical.

"What the Arminian wants to do is to arouse man's activity: what we want to do is to kill it once for all---to show him that he is lost and ruined, and that his activities are not now at all equal to the work of conversion; that he must look upward. They seek to make the man stand up: we seek to bring him down, and make him feel that there he lies in the hand of God, and that his business is to submit himself to God, and cry aloud, 'Lord, save, or we perish.' We hold that man is never so near grace as when he begins to feel he can do nothing at all. When he says, 'I can pray, I can believe, I can do this, and I can do the other,' marks of self-sufficiency and arrogance are on his brow."
(C. H. Spurgeon)

Be Warned!!

Very very ODD and SUSPICIOUS that you link to a website purportedly of a UK charity that has no registered charity number.

Equally ODD and SUSPICIOUS that you link to a paypal account that has no connection with the charity.

Please note and take heed that unrepentant fraudsters will go to hell.

John, there may be different authors, but the site appears to be too well constructed for me to think that the sentiments in all the articles have not been vetted or that they are haphazard and do not seek to present a uniform view of calvinism. Even the article against Andrew Fuller is a give away! Compare this nonsensical and hugely biased article with the enthusiasm with which Fuller is received by no lesser historian than Michael Haykin!

The website undoubtedly presents "Heperism" writ large!

Sure they would. They have no problem with the Father calling, as long as it is not the preacher calling as well.

Note that in the article to which I referred you, he says we must not imitate the apostles in the way which they addressed sinners. Really! Why do you suppose that he says that?

And don't forget America, the liberal disease which has diminished and abated Scottish/British justice has just been voted into your White House.
First it destroys moral standards then it drains all authority and decency from society. (Or perhaps first it destroys the church)

It is called Liberalism!!
