Verge Science on YouTube made a fascinating video on similar topic that I would recommend. They certainly don't have a biblical worldview in any of their videos, but the facts they presented in this one were quite interesting. One of the main points of the video was the fact that China has one time zone and to say the least, it causes problems. India does as well.
As far as daylight saving time goes, I look forward to it every year and being an outdoors person, it's always a bother to have the sun go down on you when you're in the middle of a project. Then again, working until eight PM can present it's own problems. I've heard and am led to believe that the healthiest way to handle time is to ignore the clock and base our schedule (mostly our sleep schedule) around the sun. That might work for someone like me who's in a temperate/ subtropical zone, but what about the Alaskans and Scandinavians?

Looks interesting as far as being able to very accurately represent the sizes of landmasses and bodies of water, but it throws the placement of the continents badly off. It would be almost useless for navigation. Yes QC, it's impossible to accurately draw a globe on a flat sheet.

Diane from Southern USA writes:
"That’s no lady,BDF, that’s Pocahontas!"

I knew someone would catch that if I put it out there!😀 No she (I was actually referring to Klobuchar) may be a female, but certainly no lady. She needs to learn her place.

So currently the ones leading the Democratic pack are a sodomite, a socialist, and a liberal lady. Seems real promising.

The best and most proven method? Tickling with a peacock feather. Hands down the best. Second place is finding out their favorite food and eating it (loudly) in front of them. Either of 'em will get a bad guy telling you everything.

On a more serious note, the article was interesting, but these ideas about interrogation seemed to have a lot secular ideology mixed in. Advanced interrogation is a tricky subject and one that I've really never reached a biblical conclusion on. I would lean towards saying that there should be very few restrictions in extracting information as quickly as possible to preserve innocent life.

£8 million is a drop in the bucket compared to what the Welsh justice system is going to have to spend on the thousands of citizens who never learned that bad things happen to bad little boys and girls. The whippins I got as young un' were some of the best things that ever happened to me.

Thanks a lot for the info YIA. So typical of communism to stage massive cover ups of the bad and flaunt what little good they have.

Even if abortions only accounted for 0.4% of what PP does they would still be the monstrous, demonic organization that they are. The standards in this country are so low that we now measure moral uprightness by how much evil you have compared to your "goodness". Funny how that standard is only applied to sinful humanity. No one would of riding in a vehicle that had an engind that failed four percent of the time. No one would consider living in a house that was made of bricks that were only four percent radioactive. No sane person would eat food that was four percent (or even 0.4 percent!) arsenic. Somehow, when it comes to righteousness, wickedness, and the heart of man, things are supposedly different?

The Democratic presidential candidates are by far the most insane, wicked, tyrannical group of that kind their party ever produced. Watching one of their debates and you can literally see them lining out their plans to have federally sanctioned violations of every one the ten commandments. Not to mention their own personal violations of the same.

You what's strange about racism? It's that all racists say they're the best and that all the problems on God's green earth come from the folks outside of their tribe. What it is a another lie from satan to distract us from the true problem: sin. In a natural state, every man, woman, and child is "voracious, perverse, and parasitic-like". The problem is fallen mankind, not particular groups of us. I suppose these ridiculous sort of discussions about white vs. black, or Mexican vs. american, or large noses vs. small noses, or Parisian vs. Berliner will continue 'til kingdom come. I'm grateful for the culture I was raised in, with the heritage I inherited, with the complexion I have, speaking the language I speak, in the southern region of the nation that I call home. I think everyone should thank God for the same. And for we who are born again, we can praise our Creator that we part of something so much greater and glorious than any of the other symbols, habits, amd genetic expressions that make us who we are - we are a part of the church of the living God. That body transcends any border, skin color, tribe or tongue. It's simply astonishing.

Youth in Asia writes:
"If that is so, you do realize not every parents is emotionally, and spiritually equipped for such a thing, and infact can do much worse damage when their kids grow up not properly educated, for example cannot read or write"

Perhaps every parent isn't a "trained professional", but who loves a child the most? Parents. Who best knows what the needs of the child are? Parents. It goes on. Of course, there are bad parents out there who wouldn't turn out bright, successful people if they homeschooled. But look at the public school system. It's rotten. It processes children like cattle and now you have high school kids who are illiterate. Besides, nowhere does scripture sanction the state educate and bring up children. That duty is assigned to parents. Now, I'm not picking on people who attended public school for some or all of their childhood (both of my parents did). Obviously it wasn't their choice. As far as being "properly educated", you won't get a proper education from today's public schools and most private schools. You'll get humanist indoctrination shoved down your throat. If you ask me, I'd rather have kids that have only read the Bible and the catechism if my only other choice was government school.

...patience and glorious fortitude to bear up under persecution like thr Church the world over does daily. Perhaps, after all these years of theological and practical degradation in the visible Church, after all these years of God patiently staying His hand, we will experience what it's like to be purified by fire. We can take confidence that those flames will burn the rubbish and make the gold shine brighter.

Should the wicked triumph in this land (though it will only be temporary as Christ will subject His enemies), I'm afraid every prayer we didn't pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters will come back to haunt us. I pray fervently that God would change the hearts of this country and especially of my generation, but most of what I see is a continual loss of freedom, a growing, burning hatred against biblical Christianity, and a steady destruction of everything that made the homeland free, prosperous, and safe. Sometimes I begin to think that perhaps young people don't realize what they're doing, that if they could just be told what's at stake they would change their ways. But I know that isn't the case. God must change their dark, nihilistic, hearts and minds for them to wake from their sleep. And if and until that happens, we can expect every comfort, freedom, measure of safety, and perhaps every bite of food and drink of clean water that we took for granted to be cut off from us, bit by bit. It'll make the "attacks" on people like Jack Phillip's look like peaches and cream. Why would we be any different from the other nations God has so ferociously judged for their wickedness? Just because we're America? If and when those days come, may our King give us the sublime patienc

Some christians in this country take for granted the fact we can go to church and go home and not think twice about safety except buckling the seatbelt in comfy, safely designed vehicles. Some of us take for granted the fact that we can go shopping, fill our fridges with almost anything we want, and go to sleep with a full gut in our comfy beds and not think twice about safety (except maybe tripping over a slipper or stubbing our toes in the dark). And yet, we can forget how many rivers of blood, sweat, and tears were shed to give us the safety we enjoy every day. Worse, I think it's also easy to not realize that the enemies of the church and of freedom are quickly rising to power in this country - and they have millions of gullible minions at their disposal.
