I guess the question I keep asking myself is: Does Man sin of his own choice and "freewill", or does God cause man to sin for God's good pleasure and freewill?I believe the earth will be destroyed by God, for the reason of sin. And I believe Man does sin by his own choice. Revelation 11:18 (KJV) And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. As for "chem trails", the question was a question, but I believe wikipedia as much as I believe Atheists and Scientist who say man does not sin, but it's this little section of the brain and DNA... bla bla bla. Just watch those things (supposed chem trails)for a while and see what you see. I have some very hard to explain away photographs I took myself of both things (chem trails and ocean alkaline buildup caused by global warming or pollution up the Pacific coast in the US) that are setting my opinion on the matter, and I am still investigating. To be sure God is the Just Judge, but Judge he does. ---because of sin--- |

(onlinebible.net) To say that Dave Hunt does not cite Calvins work directly, is absolutely false. I have been reading his book "What Love Is This" this week, and there are plenty of footnotes, and citations. So far, I can't get over the fact that "Calvinism" is really re-packaged Augustinianism. Augustine is revered by both the Roman Catholic Church as well as the Calvinist Church. Both shared torture of those who opposed them from what I read. That statement is what is holding my interest in this conroversy, because one of the Pastors I have been listening to for the past year warned that if you didn't believe in these Calvinist doctrines of election, you need to repent, because you are filled with pride. I don't believe in baby baptism either, I guess that is 2 strikes so they would want to burn me at the stake along with the other Anabaptists. This stuff is hard to digest. |
