However,
If "Tony" blackened one eye in his rant, then what would a personal attack at a first time poster (Theo Girl) do to the other eye? I fail to be impressed by the attitutes of many KJVO-ers. Who would want to join those "ranks"? [clever double entendre]

Her point is well said. Pray for their souls, rather than choose every opportunity to rail on and on about KJVO-ism.
Why?
Because they would't know the version difference anyway and are railing and spewing their hatred of God.

I was at a Chinese resturant the other day, and read on a fortune cookie that the Chinese word for Disease is Bing.

Interesting.

Still...
Google and Apple Computer both supported the Gay rights marriage proposal in California (Prop 8) with several hundred thousand dollars of support money at the last vote.

It does apear that Jesus made a clear statement that if you are not serving God, you are serving mammon. hmmm... ALL or nothing.

I guess the question I keep asking myself is:
Does Man sin of his own choice and "freewill", or does God cause man to sin for God's good pleasure and freewill?

I believe the earth will be destroyed by God, for the reason of sin. And I believe Man does sin by his own choice.

Revelation 11:18 (KJV) And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

As for "chem trails", the question was a question, but I believe wikipedia as much as I believe Atheists and Scientist who say man does not sin, but it's this little section of the brain and DNA... bla bla bla.

Just watch those things (supposed chem trails)for a while and see what you see.

I have some very hard to explain away photographs I took myself of both things (chem trails and ocean alkaline buildup caused by global warming or pollution up the Pacific coast in the US) that are setting my opinion on the matter, and I am still investigating.

To be sure God is the Just Judge, but Judge he does. ---because of sin---

I beleive the Bible teaches it is man made problem and God will destroy all the earth.

Isaiah 24:4-6 (KJV)4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. 5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

What exactly are those "chem trail" things anyway you hear so much about?

In reading this article and then watching some of the video, I can't help but be concerned about what appears to be a secondary agenda.

I think most here would be against abortion as God is.

Is this a reason to support a secondary ecumenical agenda, to bring all faiths together? At the end of this video interview, that is what this Pastor calls for.

I read Wilkerson's book called "The Vision" over 20 something years ago. When he blew the Y2K "disaster" prediction, I quit listening.

Never the less, I still have an ear open and find myself watching in probably too many places.
The sermon I am linking to, really helped me remember something very important about who our Foundation is, and I hope you can take a few minutes to listen to it.

You can get several of Calvin and Augustine works available free with Online Bible. (onlinebible.net)

To say that Dave Hunt does not cite Calvins work directly, is absolutely false. I have been reading his book "What Love Is This" this week, and there are plenty of footnotes, and citations.
So far, I can't get over the fact that "Calvinism" is really re-packaged Augustinianism. Augustine is revered by both the Roman Catholic Church as well as the Calvinist Church. Both shared torture of those who opposed them from what I read.

That statement is what is holding my interest in this conroversy, because one of the Pastors I have been listening to for the past year warned that if you didn't believe in these Calvinist doctrines of election, you need to repent, because you are filled with pride.
I don't believe in baby baptism either, I guess that is 2 strikes so they would want to burn me at the stake along with the other Anabaptists.

This stuff is hard to digest.

Well maybe not as easy as your linked post would suggest Mr. Jim. I din't find the word repent or repentance even mentioned. Sorry but without the truth, you don't really have the truth.
The linked article also seemed to poorly represented other doctinal issues.

So it isn't as "easy" as you wrote. I don't know about Obama's intention or others, but only that this linked article certainly wasn't "the" answer. I do usually follow your links, and consider what is said.
