Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t 5 percent of twenty million 0ne million? So if fifty million people get the virus then 5 percent would be 2 1/2 million. Are they really saying that is how many people will die in America by December of this virus?
Honestly, I only know one person who said they had the coronavirus but they never actually felt sick.

Excuse my ignorance. Does that mean 10 times as many people are dying from it too? Or does that mean it’s not as bad as they thought?

People, and especially Christians have so many answers. But they only need to look into their own lives to see how well their answers are working for them. How well are they getting along with their wife or husband or children. Are they divorced? Why? Do they get along with other people in church? Do they even go to church? Can they submit to another’s correction? What is their attitude toward their boss

I am convinced that people will never solve all these problems. If that policeman had been a true Christian he would never have been in a job where force is used. If mr. Floyd had been a true Christian he would never have been committing any crimes. True Christians never oppress other people. True Christians are like Jesus who who would rather suffer wrong than do another person any harm. Jesus is our example no one else.

So if I refuse the vaccine who besides myself am I putting at risk? I need an answer. This whole thing is not making sense to me.
And by the way. Our store has been open and very busy through all this. We don’t wear masks or muzzles and no one has been offended. Customers have been very thankful for our store as we have had things in stock they couldn’t find anywhere else anymore.

Mr. Lincoln I’m quite certain tens of thousands of people of all ages die every year from car accidents and yet no one banning automobiles. Driving could also be considered a form of suicide using the reasoning you suggested.
I’m still hoping to read some good sensible explanation.

Something doesn’t make sense here. If nearly everyone gets vaccinated then only the few who object to it are at risk of getting sick. Those who are vaccinated are all safe and should no longer care what the few who object to the vaccination do. Please explain.

I feel very sorry for those who might be loosing their jobs over all this. And some businesses can hang in there for a little while but if it goes on too long they might have to close for good.

Our little store has been busier than ever. We sold completely out of some items and then we discovered that our suppliers are out of stock too. Customers have expressed over and over that they are thankful for our presence. I guess we were the last ones to run out of things. We’re just glad to be a blessing to the community.

So for now we plan on continuing as usual until we’re told to do otherwise. We are disinfecting things which are handled frequently by customers, and we wash and sanitize our hands often too. We will be closed Friday noon for Good Friday. God’s blessing to all this week.

Well so far this flu hasn’t interrupted our life, school or church wise. But could someone help me understand why this flu is worse than all the other flu’s that are going around?
The store business has been about the same as usual and this subject hasn’t really come up in conversation, but I guess now I am a little reluctant to bring it up lest someone thinks we’re helping spread it by not closing.

Mike. Was I wrong in thinking that a person’s morals did matter when choosing a new president?

Thankfully we don’t often hear any swearing in our store. But it is always offensive no matter who says it. But I certainly didn’t expect it from a politician. I didn’t intend on being critical.

I don’t mean to offend anyone here. But our church doesn’t get involved in politics meaning we don’t vote. Will Americans now have to choose between a openly homosexual with a husband and a openly adulterer on his third wife. I believe both are wrong. What if it was the other way around and the homosexual was the conservative? Who would you vote for? The way I and my church see it Jesus is the only one who will ever get our vote. I’m glad I don’t have to decide on anyone else.
And by the way our store is doing alright. January was very slow but business picking up now as the weather begins to warm a little. We have had politicians stop in to shop. One was a woman state representative. She was a Democrat I was told. Another time a man stopped in who people told me later that he is a state representative but this time a Republican. He showed some interest in how the business was doing. I didn’t care for his language at times though.

A lot of opinions here. But I’m satisfied to let Jesus have the last word.

I don’t have any idea who Hugh Grant is but I can support his idea that marriage is good and so are children. Both are a blessing from God.

I’m not sure why people think that farming with horses is bad. One of our ministers once explained that he would pull out his Bible and read it whenever he stopped to let his plow horses rest. He said he loved reading his bible so much that he let his horses rest at the end of each row. The world needs to slow down.

It’s Saturday morning and I’m about to head over to our new store next to our house. We’ve been in business for ten months now out here in rural mid west America. We are a small store outside of town, but on a busy road. I felt like I must respond to this article.
We sell primarily food products. We buy in bulk and repackage into smaller bags and containers. The advantage with that is hopefully a better price and better quality. We also sell bread, milk, eggs, handcrafted items, soap, supplements, deli meat and cheese. In the summer we sell outdoor furniture made locally.
So far my experience with our store has been that local people are glad to to see a store nearby again so they don’t have to travel so far anymore. They have showered us with praise and words of thanks. Believe it or not we have customers coming from 50 or more miles away to shop here.

Our challenge is to get people to change their shopping habits. People like our plain appearance and simplicity, also no tobacco or liquor sold. My concern is that after the novelty of our store wears off people will return to their old buying habits. We simply can’t compete price wise with Walmart or the dollar stores. Some people will drive all the way to town to save a little on bread and milk or whatever. I can’t blame them, we all like to save where we can.
Right now my thought is that the big stores rule the market because of all the little choices people make everyday to want the best price in the most convenient way. So because of that the big stores filled that desire. Now that most of the little stores are gone people are sorry about it, but it still doesn’t mean they will support a new little store that dares to beat the odds.
I should add that we had a small store in Pennsylvania that did well enough. Stores like ours are much more common there than here. But even there we felt the difference when a big new store opened near us. Please keep supporting the little stores if you don’t want see them disappear entirely.
I wrote this on my handy phone, please excuse any mistakes. Thank you.

What kind of church are these Christians from? I can’t imagine a real and biblical church allowing immorality among their youth and unmarried.
Someone once said, if someone looks like the world, talks like the world and acts like the world then he is of the world. Such people should not be mistaken for a true Christian.
