“ Absolutely Outstanding! ”
I was shocked AND I was amazed when I listened to this sermon. You could even say that I was blown away by it. It's awfully rare for me to hear quality preaching of this magnitude. Todd has reached his pinnacle here. Out of over 1500 sermons of his that I have listened to this one is at the top of the list. I mean the very top. You can't get any higher on top than this. He has outdone himself. In this sermon, Todd was organized, succinct, clear, concise and very much to the point. It was almost as if I were walking along side of him as he spoke. I have never had that happen before in listening to a preacher. I hope to hear more just like this. I actually came away from it feeling lighter and more at peace. The Lord worked a miracle with this sermon.

Sermon:
The Fear of Death Removed
Henry Mahan

“ Incomplete Sermon ”
Another one of Henry's great sermons. However, the sermon cuts off as he is speaking. The topic is death of course. He goes into quite a bit of explanation regarding what the New Earth will be like and how we will look. Very informational. He brings together quite a bit of scripture in this sermon in order to help folks get a better understanding of what the elect can expect at the point of death. Would like to have heard the whole sermon though.

“ Very Interesting Sermon ”
It is sermons like these when Todd is at his very best. I listened to this sermon twice in one day. It was equally as refreshing with the 2nd listening. What the elect tends to forget is that they are in battle 24/7 while on this earth. There are 2 entities at war inside the elect. The new man and the old man. The old man being the flesh and the new man of course being the spirit. Todd covers quite a few passages of scripture in order to bring this reality home. Scripture is not elusive on this topic, it is actually talked about and explained quite a bit. Todd goes over this and explains it. This sermon should be a must have for the elect. Play it often to remind yourself of who you should be looking to AT ALL TIMES. Listen in order to understand. Todd simplifies it and it can be easily understood. This is not rocket science people. Like I said, this sermon is a MUST HAVE.

“ Interesting Sermon ”
For someone who isn't long for this earth, this particular sermon made me feel good. Henry never lets me down. He may not have as much insight as I would like for him to have sometimes, but he never lets me down in his sincerity & effort in preaching the true word of God. The focal point of this sermon was that there are 3 types of death. They are 1. SPIRITUAL, 2. PHYSICAL, 3. ETERNAL. Henry also points out that all of these came as a result of Adam's fall. Henry also points out that God only created 1 man, not 2. Eve was taken from Adam, not created as Adam was. There is much to be gleaned from this sermon. Different things depending on where you are in your own walk with God. With me, I am looking more for comfort in the leaving of this world. It's through Henry's preaching that I hear the voice of our Lord & am in fact comforted. Do I always agree with everything that Henry says? No. But then I'm not supposed to. He's Henry and I am me. He sees things the way he does & I understand according to the understanding that God has given me. But, I look to Henry for understanding of God's word. It's his preaching Scripture References - 1 Thessalonians 4:13, Romans 5:12, 17-19/7:24, 1 Corinthians 15:21, 35-39, 42; Genesis 3:6/5:5, Revelation 20:14, Luke 24:36, Matthew 22:2

Sermon:
Why Was Christ Baptized?
Todd Nibert

“ Incomplete Sermon ”
I really hate it when this happens. This is one of Todd's more interesting sermons and as it would have it, the video drops off at the 36:20 mark and doesn't pick back up until the 38:11 mark when he has already started the closing prayer. What did I miss? How important was it? This normally happens during the more important sermons. This is also the case with the Audio sermon as well, I checked it myself. However, Todd does take the time to explain what Baptism is and how important it is. He explains that Baptism means to IMMERSE and gives some background. He also points out that the doctrine of Baptism is UNION WITH THE LORD. Todd also mentions that there is no such thing as UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. He has made mention of this before in other sermons and it is worth pondering what he says. One very important aspect of this sermon (and it did cause me to listen to it twice) was that Todd points out the difference between man forgiving sin and God forgiving sin. He uses the example of Barrabas as that of man forgiving sin. He uses Christ going to the cross as God forgiving sin. Very interesting and unique comparison. I didn't catch it right away. Scripture reference - Hebrews 2:11/6:2/7:9, Ephesians 5:28, Matthew 3:13/20:20, 2 Thessalonians 2:13, John 1:19, Psalm 40, M

“ Action Packed ”
I haven't listened to a Todd sermon in about a month and today I thought I would catch up and listen to 5 of the most recent sermons. The 2nd one I listened to was this one. Even though the basis for the sermon was Ephesians 3:17, Todd was hitting hard with some other very valid scripture both from the old and new testaments. I won't take the time to list those things that he mentioned, that would be taking away from the specialness (is that a real word?) of the sermon. But, suffice it to say that it is one of the more action packed sermons that Todd has preached. Very much worth the listening and you most likely will learn something as well. I know I had several refreshers in this sermon and I am very glad that the Holy Spirit allowed that to happen. God does in fact use Todd. And in this day and time, boy oh boy, do we ever need him.

“ Outstanding Sermon ”
This is one of Henry's best sermons. He brings so much life to the Word of God. He speaks about death in a realistic manner without being insulting or intimidating. He speaks with authority. Henry Mahan is one of the greatest preachers of all time.

“ Outstanding Sermon ”
As always Henry preaches the BEST! You just don't get any better than Henry. The subject is a hard one for most people. I don't care how you preach it. People have issues with death. In this case, as he mentions, that if you are near death or expecting death, then these words will come as a comfort & they indeed do. Knowing that my time here on this earth is short, I draw comfort from Henry's sermons on death because he knows the word of God & preaches true. How I wish I could have sat in his church & listened to him in person, but I thank God that He allowed me the privilege of hearing Henry preach His word. Thank you Lord Jesus.

“ The Sermon Has Been Corrected ”
I have been keeping an eye on this to see if the correct sermon would be uploaded & it has been. I watched the sermon & Todd explains the essence of the prayer to the Ephesians & what it consisted of. The essence of the prayer is the battle between the flesh & the spirit. He explains this through several different biblical texts. A very interesting sermon. Very much worth watching/listening to. If you are in question or confused as to the battle between the flesh & the spirit, this goes a long way into clearing up any confusion. Todd does what Todd does best, he brings together multiple biblical references in order to explain something.

“ Duplicate Sermon ”
This sermon is an exact copy of the sermon "Seeing, Fearing & Believing" that was released the very same day. The times are exact, the video is an exact duplicate. It is marked as "Paul's Prayer For the Egyptians" Ephesians 3:14-21, but it isn't. As I said, it is "Seeing, Fearing & Believing" Ephesians 14:31.

“ Loss of Video ”
This is a great sermon, no doubt about that. I learn more from Todd than any other pastor (except Henry Mahan). I prefer watching Todd preach as opposed to listening to him. I can do both, but prefer watching. I was watching along on this video and all of a sudden at the 35:18 mark the video was lost and the screen went black. I could still hear Todd, just couldn't see him. My advice to Todd's staff is to preview videos before you put them up. Check your equipment before recording the sermon. A little extra effort could mean so much out here to those of us who look forward to his sermons.

Sermon:
The Divine Order
Todd Nibert

“ How Beautiful Are the Feet ”
This is one of Todd's very best sermons. I learned SO MUCH from this sermon. God does in fact use Todd's mouth to impart the understanding of scripture. It has nothing to do with Todd himself. Todd hits on many different things during this sermon. Some of them are: 1 - Good news is relevant. 2 - Divine order being those that God foreknew (order of salvation). 3 - Can God save w/o a preacher? 4 - Could God work apart from the Gospel? 5 - What gives peace? 6 - God is a God of order & purpose. 7 - Whose important? The prophet or the God of the prophet? Todd speaks on Paul's 4 rhetorical questions. He also speaks on Naman & goes into some interesting details regarding Naman. Naman is actually representative of who we are as people & that leprosy is the mark of sin. Elisha is representative of God & how we try to approach Him, but He sends a servant to us instead. Very interesting. Very revealing. Scripture references are: Romans 8:28/10:13-15/11:36; 1 Jon 4:9-10; Matthew 15:24; John 1:1/3:17/4:34/6:38/9:4/17:3 & 8; 1 Peter 1:12; 1 Corinthians 1:17 & 21; 2 Kings 5:1 (Naman); Isaiah 52:7; Jeremiah 23:30; 2 Timothy 1:12; Mark 10:46

“ Incomplete video ”
I was watching along and learning some things regarding revelation and all of a sudden, in the middle of what Todd was saying, the video went to black. No sound, no picture. It happened at the 28:37 min mark and stayed that way until the end of the video which was at 38:30. I would have liked to have been able to have heard the whole sermon since he was delivering some very useful information. I wish they would get their act together at this church and put up complete sermons. It can't be that difficult to do. After all, it isn't rocket science.

“ Are you Elect? ”
First off the audio is tedious. It sounds like Todd is at the beach. But the sermon is tolerable. Now, the subject is very necessary. I have listened to & watched this sermon several times & it doesn't get old. Todd begins by defining election in several ways. One of which is God's ancient choice of His people before time began & the other is in Ephesians 1:4. He points out that those who are elect practice 3 things - the work of FAITH, patience of HOPE & labor of LOVE. He also mentions that the elect have the JOY & PEACE of believing. The 7 evidences are listed in 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10. Todd enumerates each one & they are as follows: 1-Gospel (not in word only), 2-Following Christ, the Lord, 3-Having received the word, 4-Being an example/form/pattern, 5-Sounding out the word of God (not ashamed of the gospel), 6-Turning to God from idols, 7-waiting for the Son. If you want to check yourself, this would be a good place to start. Are you elect? Or are you delusional? One way of finding out is when you wake up in the end & see where you land. Do you want to wait until then? I wouldn't recommend it. Scripture references are 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10/2:13, Exodus 33:18, 1 Corinthians 13:13, Luke 10:16, 1 John 4:6, Acts 17/22:6, Romans 8:26/14:17/15:3, Hebrews 9:24-25

“ Loss of Video ”
I was watching this video and enjoying the sermon and learning. Then the video went black. It happened at the 25:01 mark and stayed that way until the end of the video. The sound was fine, it was just the video. I have quite a few of Todd's audio sermons. But I find that I enjoy watching the sermons more because it gives me a sense of being there. It's bad enough when they cut the video off right before or in the middle of the prayers, but to lose video altogether it's sad indeed. I wish that the folks that are in charge of recording these sermons would take more care in what they are doing considering there are those of us out here who look forward AND benefit from these video sermons.

“ Video Loss ”
This sermon was very interesting and I would have liked to have heard the whole sermon. At the 40:43 min mark the video goes to black and Todd is cut off in mid sentence. When it picks back up at the 45:36 min mark Todd is in the middle of not only a sentence, but in the middle of the ending prayer of the service. What a loss. It would have been nice to have heard the entire sermon.

Sermon:
Pay What You Owe
Todd Nibert

“ Learning From Scripture ”
Todd did an admiral job with this subject matter. I always thought it meant that you should have no material debt. That you should be a good steward of what God has provided. Todd expands on this and explains some very significant points. This lends itself to a greater understanding & drawing closer to God. Todd points out & explains that this particular passage deals more specifically with pay what you owe outside of money. If someone deserves respect, pay it, etc. A more universal explanation. He also talks about the Lord washing feet. He explains that the point of that was symbolic for us. In this world, as we walk through it, our feet get dirty. Contact with this world dirties us. By listening to the Word of God, our feet get washed & we are clean. Everyday it must be done again. Very enlightening. He also points out about preaching and what it truly is. Preaching in & of itself is equivalent to one beggar telling another beggar where he got bread. I saw the truth of that. Scripture references - 2 Kings7; Luke 11:4/17:10; John 13:7, 13-14; Acts 17:29; Romans 1:15/8:12/13:8-10/15:1; 1 Corinthians 7:3; 2 Corinthians 12:11; 2 Thessalonians 1:3/2:13; Job 35; Hebrews 2:17/5:1,12/6:1; 1 John 2:6; 3 John 1:7-8

Overthrowing the Tables
Todd Nibert

“ A Little Disjointed ”
I just finished watching this sermon. My hopes initially were high due to the subject. Alas, I was disappointed. Todd tried, but he fell short from the beginning. What he did (& it didn't work out well) was to compare the moneychangers in the temple to King Jeroboam. In a sense they are comparable, but overall they aren't. Todd tried to be nice to the moneychangers by saying they were just trying to make it easier on the less fortunate during Passover time. That is patently not true & Todd knows this. The Pharisees were in the money making business. In every aspect they were all about the money. THEY allowed the moneychangers in & took a nice healthy profit. Todd also makes a very audacious statement by saying the world hates INTOLERANCE. Actually, we live in a very intolerant society. Nothing is tolerated anymore. Any subject you come up with or can think of, there is no tolerance of it. So, we live in a very INTOLERANT society. The world can't hate what it practices so passionately. Todd's not sure where he wants to go with this sermon. He lacks his normal boldness & this is where it was needed most. Scripture references - Luke 4:16/19; 1 Kings 11:31/12:25; Exodus 30; John 2:13-17; Matthew 21:12

“ Damaged Video ”
I don't know how it happened or why it was posted up in this condition, but the video is damaged. The last 11:38 min of this video is at the beginning of the video. It starts in mid-sentence. Then at the 11:39 min mark the video ends normally and the beginning starts & runs through to where it was cut off. Who does this? I had to cut it apart when I got it downloaded & repair it in order to watch it all the way through. It ran fine with the exception of the audio having slipped. The sermon is a good one, Todd takes the 23rd Psalm apart & explains it in detail. He explains there are 2 kinds of people - sheep & goats. He explains Justification & defines it as "God being absolutely just". He goes onto explain that this world is actually the Valley of the Shadow of Death & that Christ is the House of the Lord. Something that is central in this sermon is Todd's description of the elect being like sheep & he expounds on how sheep act as animals & how the elect are just like them. He also mentions that God's sheep dogs are GOODNESS & MERCY. I liked that. Scripture references - Hebrews 13:20; Matthew 25:31; John 10:3,24-29; Psalm 22/23; Genesis 1; Romans 5:1/7; 2 Corinthians 5:21
