Biblical Presbyterian wrote: What an UNBiblical statement. You obviously don't trust God. You obviously don't believe in election by God. You obviously don't understand faith the gift of God. So I assume you must be one of the Roman Arminians that are knocking about in churches trying to work their own ticket unto salvation. What I cannot understand is why you Baptists still believe in the Anabaptist heresy which was invented in the year 1521. When will you Baptists realise that the Old Testament is still very much in force and the Covenant of Grace begins in the book of Genesis...
Actually it is you who doesn't trust God or believe in election etc.
If you did, you would not baptize those that God has not commanded to be baptized. You're playing the Arminian here and pretending that your kids are elected because you administer water. If they were elect, they'd be saved irrespective of any covenant sign administered by you, because God gives saving faith to all the elect. The covenant of David is a sure covenant, not dependent on your actions.
And stop calling yourself a "biblical" presbyterian. There's nothing biblical about infant baptism.

not trying to down play your point about laying treasure up in heaven and holding things here on earth loosely, by giving them proper value in light of eternity. But if it has no value, why did you part with the money to buy it?
