Wasn’t it just a few days ago they wanted us to consider human meat? And now ban animals?
I hear the gentle strains of Romans 1 playing through my mind.

Well, I suppose he could replace that moron from Hillsong who suddenly decided he wasn’t a Christian.
Plus, this one a Trump supporter too, isn’t he? That’s a good trade, right?
Just saying.

Problem in many IFB’s is a unbiblical definition of Pastoral authority that invokes a group running point hiding things.

Oops, cut and pasted the wrong message.
Quiet—That is the crux of the problem. Too many Christians are looking at the world through the lens of humanism instead of the Bible. They are Scripturally illiterate and have more interest in understanding the world than God.

Quiet—Well, dad's surgery is scheduled for noonish. They are going to take him to prep by 10. We're heading up there in a few.

Praise= Telling others how great God is.
Worship= Telling God how great He is.

If what your Church is playing causes people to focus on the singers and not God, it is neither praise nor worship.

Well, I’ve heard it tastes like pork.
As far as Scripture, does it say “thou shalt not eat?” I mean, wasn’t “waste not want not” somewhere in there? Think about it: If you don’t shed their blood to get it, it might be ok....
Just saying.

The problem is that most people get all of their news from headlines and make up the details themselves.
They have no real clue what is going on.

I hate to sidestep from what, I am certain, would be another interesting dive into this moron from Hillsong’s life—but let me ask you a question, Amish... no instruments in worship, but you have a computer/cellphone for SermonAudio?

He is no different from the guy last week, (probably jealous and wanted to join the bandwagon,) and no different than Gay Boltz—or was it Ray?—possibly saved, (probably not, but possibly,) and caught up in the postmodern sin fantasy that every other big name person grabs ahold of when pleasing their flesh is more important than pleasing God.

Case in point would be “For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica…” (II Timothy 4:10)
In this passage, written in AD 66, we see that Demas is being lamented as having Departed from Service. We do not know the exact circumstances of his departure, but the strong wording by Paul, as he considered it a forsaking, leads one to believe it wasn’t a pleasant departure. He was fruitful, but became unfruitful.

“And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them…” (Matthew 13:7)
(And the explanation,)
“He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.”

Lurker:
Respectfully —The key to the passage that tells us the spiritual condition of the named is found in v4 "...and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost..." (Hebrews 6:4) to partake means to receive a share of. Lost people don't get a piece of the Holy Ghost. You must consider the context of the passage, which begins in Hebrews 5:12- it is discussing those who did not mature, and the leaders if the church, former Hebrews, who are used to the sacrifice, could not wrap their head around the fact that One time sacrifice was good enough, so were preaching salvation again to those who fell into sin, in lieu of making them get right. He was telling them it was impossible for someone who is saved and worldly to get re-saved. They just need to get right.

And the first thing I think of is when my 11 year old sister was made to break up with her “boyfriend” and she yelled, “I hate you” at my father.
I saw the same thing a few years ago when a lady lost her child and got mad at God, and said “I hate you”
My sister was still my parents child, despite the redundant behavior—just like this grieved woman who did not rest in the Lord but lashed out in her emotions was still a child of God.
It could be the same situation—just in lieu of emotions it was chosen sin that caused the rift.
Again—we don’t know his heart. I’m just making the suggestion that he could have been saved and now he’s running from God.
For that, there is still a penalty—just not hell. Matthew 5:19
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:
