If we're honest we have to admit that every Christian who votes this fall will be be voting for someone who regardless what they say they believe has absolutely no intention in eliminating the murder of the unborn, or reversing the "rights" of sexual perversion.
It would be like voting for a new chancellor in Germany in the late 1930's to replace Hitler who we all know will allow the murdering of Jews to continue ( even though he personally is against it).

This is not just a classroom problem but also a worship service problem. As much as I like the convenience of a cellphone I'm starting to resent them. We now have a hugely popular invention which is used without any discretion or etiquette whatsoever.

Pornographic images and innuendos have been around for a very long time. What is new is the easy accessibility of it. The "miracle" of the internet has put it potentially into every home, pocket and purse. If our society refuses to learn from Sodom and Gomorah, as well as Pompeii, it will also face ruin.

No doubt her choice of music though Christian was chosen tastefully and appropriate for a Dentist office. But I have heard some music which purported to be Christian which was bad artistically and should never have been labeled as Christian.

God gave most men a beard to wear to set him apart from the feminine face and from boys. God put it there, it was His idea and we men should honor it where possible. I've not shaved it off in 33 years.

It is simply astounding the amount of deception in churches today. Apparently this woman made her announcement with confidence knowing she wouldn't be immediately thrown out by her congregation.

For a non-violent response to criminals read the book "Angels Over Waslala" by Pablo Yoder. God is still in the protection business, but if people would rather trust in their pistol I suppose God will let them.

Our Master taught us to bless them that curse us, to offer the other cheek when someone smits us , to love our enemy and do good to them, to be merciful, not to judge, not to condemn, but to forgive.

The death of every aborted child is a tragedy but it also can leave a mother childless as in this case. Such a sad example and I'm afraid there are millions more. When will people learn that God's way is always best.

Excusing ourselves by saying we are merely sinners saved by grace is not helpful when we try to promote a Bible that nowhere allows for such compromise.

Let us not forget that the USA is a democratic republic and may not favor one religion over another. That has been it's strength and is also becoming it's weakness as Christianity becomes merely another player among Islam, atheism, paganism, etc.
Like it or not, we are entering a new era of secularism (this transition has taken over 200 years) and it really is naive to believe that somehow the Christian worldview will still be able to dominate in the marketplace of ideas.
American Christians today feel like they have failed in using the secular government to maintain the Christian moral ethics. That was a misplaced hope for the truth is that the Church of Jesus Christ is advanced not through political reform, anarchy, war, Or activism, but through the one-at-a-time heart conversion of true believers. This is where the church has failed and is failing by living lives that are beyond reproach. For the most part Christians' lives are not much different than that of a unbelieving neighbor. They watch the same movies and TV programs, divorce at the same rate, use the same coarse language when provoked, etc. Is fornication and adultery unheard of among us?
