While I am not a supporter of the president and his policies, and would heartily agree it would better if he practiced what the Bible says instead of just using it as a political tool. I think you have to say he was just doing what any other president would have done in this situation. I am not sure his actions warrant our criticism.
In this episode, Mr. Obama lays down his presidential cap and puts on his religious leader cap...he even preached from a pulpit this ecumenical message. If this does not warrant criticism, nothing does.

Ephesians 5:11 - And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Way: Do the Jewish people and Israel have a right to exist?
Rufus: What we have here is a failure to communicate. I addressed this question in the affirmative.

W: What of the Palestinian children and the Arabs who exist who do love Israel and love the government they have in place instead of the Hamas-led, cowardly Islamic jihadist way?
R: What of the Orthodox Jews that are opposed to your Zionism?

W: What of the children that are used as suicide bombers, sir?
R: This is wrong. Does this wrong make stealing right?

W: What of the promulgation of Jew hatred and Holocaust denial but the powers-that-be in "Palestine?"
R: "Jew hatred" is wrong. So too is Palestinian hatred.

W: Is this all legitimate aggression in your eyes?
R: If the United Nations required Pennsylvanians to give up their homes to the Chinese to allow for settlements, I suspect there would be some unsavory responses.

W:The Jews have NEVER turned the most innocent among them into human bombs.
R: Have they ever bulldozed to death peaceful protestors? Have they ever slaughtered unarmed individuals on humanitarian vessels?

W: And I like your cute list at the end of your thread.
R: Cool. Perhaps, you might provide a similar cute list demonstrating the contrary.

Rufus, is it a good book?
It is not good in the sense of is it Godly. It is good in the sense of understanding what the agenda of the bad folks are. Aldus wrote the book, his daddy Thomas was a eugenicist and the eugenicists are pretty much running the show right now.

If you take 1984, Atlas Shrugged and a Brave New World and mix in a little Fahrenheit 451 and you'll have a pretty good idea of where we are at and how we got here.

Yet, ignore it all and just read Genesis through Revelation (KJV of course) and you'll have a far better idea.

Maybe he, a Vatican puppet for the United States of Britain, should have quoted this:
"...And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived." Revelation 18:23 English Scriptures
Since all peoples are being deceived by the sorceries of the State religion. Consider the magical acts regarding 9/11, Sandy Hook, Boston, vaccination, etc. where the masses actually believe all the nonsense put forth by State fundamentalists.
Amen.

There's no such thing as interfaith in scripture.

Ephesians 4:5 - One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

The other items quoted were not scripture. Below are scriptures and the "us" in the verses are not a pack of "interfaith" unbelievers:

2 Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Hebrews 12:1 - Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

...We were all blind before regeneration, but I don't want to give glory to Satan by saying he rules the world. However, I will do some additional study on the Scripture you posted.
I suppose it is a matter of perspective. I don't see it as giving glory to Satan to say the Bible is true. There is a little g god of this world who is blinding the minds of many. That little g god still must go to the sovereign God to seek permission to do what he does (see Job) so they are not co-equal duals. Yet there is a God and there is a Devil and there is good and there is evil. Now Jesus Christ has the title deed to this land and one day soon he's going to kick out of his earth all things that offend him and the government will be upon his shoulders. For now though, there is a god of this world and he's making more and more havoc for he knows his time is short.

P:... is not answering the question.
R: I answered your question and asked you a question, then you disappeared. Not very sporting.

P:. an ancient...
R: I am pleased you acknowledge it to be ancient.

P: What are Palestinians...
R: They were people with homes and were removed from their homes by force.

P: ...embarrassment and punishment of Israel?
R: The Palestinians were neither the invaders nor the aggressors in this conflict.

P: When has Israel engaged in...brutal tactics?
R: Rachel Corrie, U.S.S. Liberty, MV Rachel Corrie, Lebanon and more

P: Don't tell me its those “dirty Jews”.
R: Terrible thing to say.

P: ...a STRONG citation...
R: I offer common sense and radio as one example.

Which of the following are advocates for Israel and wars in the middle East? Which are advocates for Palestine and peace in the middle East?
Howard Stern- Jew
Dennis Prager – Jew
Marc Levin – Jew
Michael Medved – Jew
Sean Hannity -RC
Bill O'Reilly - RC
Don Imus – Jew
Michael Savage – Jew
Laura Schlesinger – Jew
Neal Boortz – Jew
Al Franken – Jew
Bill Bennett – RC

Any others are either Jewish/RC or a smattering of other false religions. What you will not find are any fundamental Christians nor will you find any advocates for Palestinians.

I'll give it a shot after you answer the following in the "CUFI Lobbies Against Hagel Appointment" thread:

Rufus: ...However, just because it is fulfilled prophecy does not necessarily make it right nor was it necessarily a right granted by God. Prior to Israel being restored, Palestinians and Jews lived harmoniously. I ask, did Palestine have a right to exist as it was prior to it's existence being methodically eliminated?

The author states that Satan is the god of this world and that he has blinded the pro-aborts. Satan is on a leash; Jesus Christ is Lord and King of both Heaven and Earth and sits at the Father's right hand. Read Psalm 2 for a better perspective on the sovereignty of God and what will happen to rebellious nations. Her article would have been so much better if she had the right perspective.
Satan is the god of this world and he has blinded folks. Forgive me, but I do not understand your criticism or where the author had the wrong perspective when this is a truth contained in scripture.

2 Corinthians 4:4 - In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

The mainstream media represents the viewpoints of their corporate/government sponsors and Roman Catholic/Jewish leadership.

They are not going to cover stories which do not meet the criteria of their agenda controlled narrative. Folks should not be surprised when ABC\CBS\NBC\CNN\Faux News etc. don't report on these stories, they should merely seek alternative sources for news or just turn it off altogether.

"Few of us have heard anything through the news media of our time that added one inch to our stature or helped us to be better men or women in this life. If we have read the sickening details of one war, rape, robbery, murder, riot or famine or heard the gory details of one senseless automobile crash, what shall it profit us if we hear of a thousand more?" - H.L. Roush from Henry and the Great Society

We're already aware that "doctors" kill people, we're merely shocked when they do it in such a manner that is less hygienic than what we're accustomed to.

So? Ought a pastor preach according to what the pastor thinks their congregation may or may not endure or should the pastor preach the whole counsel of God regardless?

There is justice and there is self-defense or defense of those that can not defend themselves. Then there is a desire for bloody, torturous, vengence. As this world becomes more twisted and wicked there will be great temptation to become twisted and wicked just like the world. One of the many doctrines of television is torture and vengeance is justified under certain circumstances. I don't see it as ever being so. Are rapists dogs? Yes. Do they need to be put down? Yes. Should they be tortured and should folks take pleasure in the process? No.

I had a dog once that went mad. He went about eating chickens and behaving aggressively towards my children. That dog had to be put down, a decision I do not regret. Yet, I ensured that it was done as humanely as possible and I mourned the loss. Though justice and the protection of my family was paramount the loss of life was sorrowful.

As you can imagine Rufus, that is the response I receive. But in context, Paul is only using nature as an example in vs 15. In context
1 Corinthians 11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
1 Corinthians 11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
I suggest everyone read Calvins exhortation on this, as he has been very prophetic in light of todays reality of sexual immorality
The context of verse 5 and verse 6 is referencing hair (shaven, shorn) it does not suggest they should take their hat off.

Looks like the Muslims have it right. Cover their women from eyes to toes, and all peace will break out. Then the men get rewarded for their lack of being tempted by female ankles with the promise of 72 virgins in their next life. I guess they'll be able to handle the temptation better then.
Men have put the blame for temptation on women ever since Adam blamed Eve for tempting him with the fruit. Yet...
James 1:14 "But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed."
The Muslim position would be the extreme position on one side and the contemporary Christian position is the extreme on the other side. The Devil doesn't care which side you wind up on, he just doesn't want you to follow the narrow path.

Man is without excuse for his own lusts but so too is woman for enticing men to lust. There is a reason God considers lasciviousness to be a work of the flesh and there is a reason folks will not inherit the millenial reign of Christ if they engage in it.
