This is such a tiny incident that it makes you wonder why it even makes the news. But, when you think of the main issue being a 'hot button' for many people, you can see why they ran it, to get more clicks and thus more advertising on their website.
I think Presbyterians make up a very small amount of Christians in the US. Baptists are first, then maybe Methodists are next, etc.

A friend told me that it was very hard to get radio stations, even at night, in areas of Vermont, maybe due to the high iron ore in the land there?

Have you seen the map from the Johns Hopkins Medical Institute, showing the coronavirus cases worldwide? Maybe some Christian group needs to operate a similar map showing these abortion statistics. People would be surprised to see how many countries perform abortions, like Israel for example.

I hope they settle this in court, with one of the justices newly appointed by President Donald Trump. This shows you what you can do when you win the presidency and have control over the US Senate, which approves the judges that the President selects.
There are a few Christian legal support groups that say they are open to pursuing a case like this.

I wonder if any of the amendments restrict abortion, which I think is legal and common in Russia, as it is in Cuba.

I wonder if coins have the same problem. A friend told me that he has been changing all dollar bills into dollar coins by using the refund function on vending machines.

Whatever happened to Real News that started with answers to these questions:
1. who?
2. what?
3. why?
4. where?
5. when?
So here "World Nut Daily" in an attempt to get more clicks to their website so they can sell space for ads, have come up with a big story of 'could be'
Well, in that case, why not also run a story about the coming of the Pence Presidency because President Trump could jump out of a plane without a parachute?
How about a story about the Miami Marlins winning the World Series in 2020? That could happen, too.
Or a story about the lowly University of Maryland taking the Big Ten Championship and rolling on to win the National Championship. That could happen, too.
Just think of all the 'could be' stories you can dream up.

Not exactly good news for the 'RMD generation' who tend to attend church more than the younger set.

Once again, the news world is moved by social media, by clicks on the computer or smartphone. Reality, reasoning does not matter.
First thing to remember is that Obama attended a church for many years, you know the one where the preacher desired the destruction of this country (kinda like rioting, burning cars in your own neighborhood--what does that prove? that rich white folk will not invest any $$ in your area anymore).
I'm sure Slick Willie Clinton had many meetings where prayer was done, but few people, especially the liberal media that was more concerned about making him look good, was not going to notice.
Every President has made ceremonial prayers at all kinds of events without any objections.

It makes you wonder whether there are any residents there who recently moved from New Orleans, Houston, Wilmington, Charleston, SC, or Florida after having bad experiences from hurricanes.
Ecclesiates 9:11
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

The name reminds me of a joke from investing circles: rumors are that Honeywell will merge with Fairchild Electronics; new company will be called Fairwell Honeychild.

I like this guy a lot. I think you could call him a modern prophet for our times. His experiences with Islam is very important; I have learned things about Islam that no one else talks about. For example, I knew that Islam is not a religion but a Complete Worldview, and the goal is Complete World Control/Domination. But what he has taught me is that every Muslim goes out into the world with these eyes, with this battle in mind, and sees everyone else who is not a Muslim--as their enemy.
You may object, saying, My Muslim neighbor helped shovel my snow last week in Deerborn, Michigan. Yes, but that is the principle of 'taqqiyya' or deception at work.

Japan's NHK news today showed teens hanging out in video game parlors and one was window shopping; they did not show any examples of kids staying homes with their parents giving them lessons, as you might think happens when you wave the Magic Wand, "Homeschooling"
A bigger impact would be the loss of internet connections; as long as that does not happen, the kids will still be online most of their days. A friend tells me he sees some of them in a public library after school lets out, and all of them are either chatting with each other ('fellowship time' is the church term for it), watching something on their smartphones, or being tutored. Very few if any are pulling books off the shelf to read, just for the fun of it.

Not much detail in the news item from "World Nut Daily" which makes you think all the ads on their page was the main reason the news item exists.
I have a feeling that another website might reveal the reason for this increase in crime: immigration, esp. from sub-Saharan countries, mostly Muslims who have a completely different view on life, on right and wrong.
What else could be the explanation?

Today's news says the T. will resume their attacks on the Afghan govt.
That's faster than what I predicted.
All in all, it is still good for us to get out of there, and out of the rest of that area, too. Better to have those troops practicing maneuvers along our southern border.

Hurrah, I say. It is good for the US to get out of there, something that should have been done years ago. We are only propping up a corrupt govt that will become shariah compliant as soon as our troops leave. (Unfortunately, our tax dollars will still be going there to pay the govt, just like we have paid local leaders for their acceptance of us there)
But, since this might be seen as a Trump-positive issue, the media will look for ways to make this look bad. I expect to see more stories about Christians or other Muslims being attacked by Muslims within the country; it already happens in Turkey, which is a NATO country.
This could be a good lesson about the US foreign policy--do not get involved in Muslim countries, since they hate us with a passion and desire only our destruction, or conversion to their way of life, called Islam (note--this is not a religion, but a way of life).
In this light, one of the best things that has ever happened in the US is the development of fracking, which has enabled us to leave our dependence on Middle Eastern, Muslim oil producing countries. Now they no longer 'have us over the barrel' and have to deal with Israel and Iran on their own.

She is just repeating what her liberal college professors have told her. Nearly any college student or graduate could repeat these same lines.
She is just using her position as celebrity, and since we live in a day of clicks, it is used to gather more attention to news sites, which they convert into money by selling advertising.
The truth? No, no one is interested in the truth of any matter. Choose any subject: the campaign during the Super Bowl about human trafficking and exploitation did not make the logical connection--enforce laws at the border that would reduce much of this traffic, along with drug traffic. Enforce the law inside the country about foreigners overstaying their visas, which would also reduce this traffic. But does this get any press? No, because it's seen as a political issue and the media, controlled by liberals, do not report the truth.
