And, no, my rant isn't aimed at you in particular. More or less at those who believe being a "rebel" is sinful, questioning covid is "antichristian," salvation is brought into question over where one stands with a virus, etc. etc.
Watcher, yes, Hitler agrees. 100% submission to an unbiblical and unjust government is being naive. The midwives in Exodus were wrong for not killing babies? They disobeyed government set in place by God, yes? God rewarded them for their disobedience so clearly it's not necessarily sin to be a "rebel." Common sense applies. Perhaps, covid is not that big of a deal to you. That's fine but constantly shaming those that disagree as being unbiblical is quite silly. Once again, the solution is simple...self responsibility.
You're not holier than those that differ in opinion. Masks are NOT the gospel! Where are the good Samaritans willing to lend a hand to those in need? Ah, there they are sanitizing their hands and wearing a masks practicing social distancing. Come on! 🤦
How can this arguement possibly still be going on? We're in month 8 of lockdown so quit hollering it's the fault of those that disagree with your germphobia. Obviously, something is amiss and it's not a virus with a 98% survivability. All that aside, the solution is quite simple....take all the precautions YOU want! And I'll take all the precautions I want! That's basic adult 101- self responsiblity. I'll pray dod the pred, all those affected by covid, and all those affected by other things that are no longer thought of or exist.
Vaccine manufacturers can not be held liable for any issues that you may end up with due to the vaccine so incentives to do better are none existent. They're all a money making syringe. Covid is no exception.
Romans 13 applies universally as, it seems,so does its misuse.
Perhaps it's not the object but the principle that causes issues. Once again, our bodies are not Caesars therefore no biblical basis for handing control of it over to Caesar. That's scripture.
Once again Romans 13 and unquestioning obedience is used as an arguement. So you would have turned Jews over to Hitler because the government said to? You wouldn't have lowered Paul out the window because the government was after him? There needs to be some common sense applied to following the government. We render unto Caesar what is Caesar, our bodies, our temples, are not Caesars therefore rendering of our body to Caaesar is not Biblical. I would like to see a biblical verse demanding we allow the government to have control of our health. There's a reason God did not grant the power of health to the government anywhere in the Bible nor do you find that granted in the Constitution. Wherr a mask if you want. Don't wear a mask if you don't want to. The authorities do not have the authority nor the right to demand it one way or another. And, as Mike said, executive orders are not laws.
Once again they aim to normalize something through indoctrinating the youth. Very Orwellian. But I suspect that even this won't convince some parents to give up their love affair with money in order to educate their own children.
