I have seen various Hal Lindsey videos over the years but I have never seen one as good as the one I linked to in my last post.

In my opinion, that video is outstanding, to put it mildly, in terms of very important Scripture references for our generation, very important historical information for our generation, very important political information for our generation, and very important American media information for our generation.

As well the various things I just listed are tied directly and indirectly to the article provided by SermonAudio to start the discussion and comments.

I view that Hal Lindsey video so significant that I downloaded it so that I could use it as tool for a Christian witness among unsaved people whom I deal with but who may not have internet access. As well I can also use it as a tool for a Christian witness among people who have internet access.

Please feel free to comment again as this is not my thread but rather SermonAudio's thread.

1. He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. - Proverbs 28:26

2. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6

3. And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day: And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. - Isaiah 58:10-11

I have quoted the three Scripture passages above and put them in the order they are for, among other reasons, to beg you to go to the website at the link and watch the entirety of the 9/26/2014 video.

I now have the just referenced video on my computer having the skill to download the video from the website it is on.

I would also add that any one who is quick to post a comment in this thread after this comment is in my opinion: incredibly foolish.

Of the three smaller videos below the larger one, the 9/26/2014 one is the one on the far right.

Isis is looking for Canadian terrorists to attack Canadians. Isis is looking for U.S. terrorists to attack Americans. Isis signature killings are beheadings.

What is going on in regard to SermonAudio's main story in this thread is a revelation of the subtlety being used by ISIS and ISIS sympathizers. They are trying to prepare children to be sympathetic to beheadings and produce sleeper children who will eventually be adults sympathetic to beheading citizens of their own nation.

Isis and/or certain sympathizers of Isis are trying to produce home grown beheaders of Canadians and Americans.

Ok, so once again, let's reverse the scenario: Christians having a Sunday night play where the chidren perform mock beheadings of Muslims. Hmmm...just wondering how that would go over and how much more outraged the general public and state/federal agencies would be at those hatefilled Christians. There is a mosque in my neighborhood and the only one I'm aware of in RI. The road it's on was lined, both sides, with parked cars; hundreds of them for mosque activity. This was the first time I had seen a gathering like that and wonder what it was about. Maybe a holiday? Maybe something more sinister? "Smite the unbeliever above his neck and cut off his fingers..." Koran.
Chris Have to go for a couple of hours. Will get back eventually for better comment in regard to your comment.

Time, however, for stylistics comments that will help your comments:

1. Am sure you actually know how to spell "children".

2. White space makes a long passage easier to read and comprehend.
I would have made a paragraph break between "Christians." and
"There is a mosque"

Certain you want to make things easier for your readers to read and understand so I am certain you won't be offended by my suggestions. They are only suggestions

"Don't you ever get tired of her Jesus Christ nonsense? I'm telling you: Cut off her head!"

"And I'm telling you again; I'm not so sure I want to cut off her head. That Jesus Christ nonsense she's always spouting while it aggravates me, doesn't affect me to the point of distraction. For me this is all about money, and I suppose, a beautiful body."

A "play" in "Ontario". Oh my! I remember a run of a play in Ontario that I was in. The play had two male leads one of which was played by me.

If our director had introduced into the play a beheading scene where I had cut off someone's head or someone had cut off my head, I do believe the critics would have been commenting on that scene from coast to coast in Canada.

I can just see a typical critic reacting to that scene, "If there is one play you must see this season, this is it! An incredible avant-guarde production. Stunning in its audacious presentation of what heretofore has only seen classical presentations of the play.

Will a movie remake also be made of this play? If so, who will play the Marlon Brando part which would be so critical to the introduction of this scene in any new remake of the movie?"

I have to admit I thought about doing what you guessed but I decided to do something even better than that.

I will write one comment a year at SermonAudio: my annual Christmas message written comment, which everyone at SermonAudio will be looking forward to with eager anticipation to see what I have written.

That's right John I will not forget not the little people, like you, who helped me climb the ladder of success.

John UK that 10 cd set of the Psalms you suggested I buy and which according to you was an "an absolute bargain price" was indeed "an absolute bargain price"--10/2/14 8:21 AM
And is why I told you I would but that CD set.

You told me at 10/2/14 9:07 AM :
"Amen about the set, bargains are to be had in the most unlikely of places, and I hope and pray that the recordings will be to your benefit and edification."

John I took your advice and started looking for bargains "in the most unlikely of places". Here are some of the bargains I picked up Thursday and Friday this week for exactly $14, that is, exactly $1.00 a book on average.:

1. AMAZON ODYSSEY THE FIRST COLLECTION OF WRITINGS BY...
2. Canadian Content
3. Guidelines for Report Writing
4. How to Write A Better Anything
5. Novel & Short Story Writer's Market
6. Reading and Writing for Success

9. Thinking Critically About Ethical Issues
10. Writer's A HANDBOOK OF CURRENT ENGLISH
11. Writer's workshop
12. Writing and Being
13. Writing by Choice
14. Writing in the Disciplines

BTW John, see if you can guess what I am thinking of doing? I will give you a hint:

I started a short story with 4 consecutive chapters in this thread beginning with the first comment in this thread: 10/1/14 5:42 AM

The first two chapters (comments) were mine, then Christopher000 contributed a chapter (comment) then I wrote the next one.

Here is the 5th chapter in the short story:

I told my neighbor in the apartment next to me (the same neighbor in the first 4 chapters) because of some help I was paying him for, that there would be a prize for him at the end of his work assignment. I told him he would be allowed to pick 1 of 4 things I had that had never been used and three of which were still in the sealed boxes they were originately bought in.

The other night his paid assignment was over and I called him to come and pick his prize. He had trouble believing his good fortune when he found what he could pick from.

He eventually chose what he estimated to be around $150 dollars to buy new. He asked me at least three times if it was alright to pick what he picked and could take it and get to keep it. I had to keep telling him, "I told you that you could pick 1 of 4 new things, which ever one you liked the best and take it back to your apartment and keep it.

Eventually he believed me and took his choice back to his apartment.

But I don't think God is as cruel as you [Chris] suppose, making people squeal every moment... for eternity.

John "I don't know what the resurrected body is like" either.

I think it is theoretically possible that it involves "spiritual pain". I also think it is theoretically possible that God could construct a "resurrected body", --Is anything to hard for the Lord?-- for the damned, those people to end up in the Lake of Fire, that is different from the resurrected body of the saved.

Such a body for the damned, if God chose to make it, could be possible of feeling incredible spiritual pain and incredible physical pain.

Incredible spiritual pain and physical pain was what the Lord Jesus Christ endured because of the sins of the people who end up in the Lake of fire and :

Coming home by airplane from a triple bypass heart operation 9 years ago this month,I was heavily drugged by hospital staff for the trip home in order to escape pain they expected to otherwise occur on the flight home.

By the time I arrived home, got to my apartment, and had spent a couple of hours in it, the drug effect had worn off. And for the first time in my life I truly understood what pain equaled.

Moving was a nightmare, trying to get undressed, then into bed, then desperately trying not to move a muscle until I fell asleep.

Waking up, trying to get up, dressing, then moving around brought excruciating pain. This routine went on for much longer than I care to remember before the excruciating pain eventually stopped.

Can you imagine the excruciating pain involved every second: by ending up in the Lake of Fire for eternity?:

John UK my dear friend

Carrying on with my 12:38 PM:

I transcriped for you (and the ones hiding in the tall grass) 2 min and 31 seconds of a 30 min and 15 sec audio that is the first audio in 5 audio parts series.

I don't have to go to the link I provided for you that you were originally apprehensive about as my two "Add-on"'s for Firefox allow me to download the five audios. I can listen to the audios at my convenience. Mind you I would have to stay long enough at the place provided by the link to get the five downloaded.

I sure you understand that I haven't been captured by Martians yet and I am still at home using my computer having no problems with my computer

What I am saying of course, is that anyone who wants to hear a discussion of the Rapture by someone who probably knows more about the Rapture than any one who ever reads this comment, including me and I know a lot about the Rapture-and what I know about it would probably surprise a lot of people of it ever came out-can either listen to or download the entire series for themselves and listen to John F. Walvoord.

John UK my dear brother

Continuing on with my 8:56 AM comment:

We call this the Rapture. The Rapture means to snatch up and that's the prospect that's before us.

Now have you ever met a person that was really excited about the Rapture of the church? Well I suppose we have but they haven't been very many. It's amazing to me how people can know this truth and believe it and tuck it away in their doctrinal statement but it doesn't really affect what their doing today; they don't wake up in the morning and say, "Perhaps, today!"

And seems to me that there should be some excitement about this and I would like to give you some reasons for that as we go through this week
and hopefully give this place:

the doctrine and the hope of the Rapture a larger place in your thinking and your evaluation of:

your own life."...

I've been coming in and out some thirty years and it's been marvelous to see how the Lord has blessed this work and spread it all over the world. I just see a constant miracle here as God leads souls to Christ, provides the financial means, the personel and all the else is involved. And it is a great privilege to have part in this week.

Now I'm sure that through the years they have had many, many, famous and capable gifted Bible teachers here and it for a teacher to come in for a week like this and bring something that is helpful to people is not an easy choice. But I want to speak on a familiar subject this week, on the Rapture of the church.
