Union Seminar has a Twitter post on their students confessing to plants...their post:"Today in chapel, we confessed to plants. Together, we held our grief, joy, regret, hope, guilt and sorrow in prayer; offering them to the beings who sustain us but whose gift we too often fail to honor. What do you confess to the plants in your life?"
John UK wrote: Christianity is not meant to be cool. Christianity is not cool. Christianity is not wicked. Christianity saves the wicked from the eternal fire; it saves them from their sins; it is all about the grace of God and the covenant the Father
They already have control of the economy, at least in N.America, lobbying is legalized bribing.
How many choices do you have in choosing Internet companies and phone? There's no competition, people are stuck with abusing price schemes, and locked European, Asian phones. Cord cutting from abusive cable companies has been made almost impossible with rising Internet costs, roaming internationally is super abusive, whereas it's pennies around the world.
Monopolies in medicine and research already artificially raise and lower prices to sell you whatever they want you to take
Silicon valley, Hollywood, own the economy. Disney owns the propaganda machine, google owns all your info from what you watch on YouTube, to your location on google maps, to your emails, and every website you visit with their advertisement system.
Amazon has killed off so many stores big or small with their free and cheap delivery with amazon prime, that many years after, they increased to absurd levels, but there is no competition anymore.
YiA says.... "Either the scales shift to the government having all the power as in socialism, or they shift to the corporations as in capitalism."
If this was true, I can assure that it's better to have a distant, powerless corporation holding the economy in their grip (like Amazon may do someday), than have an all powerful, very close and personal government peeking over your back...
I personally haven't seen capitalism goes to the lengths your claiming unless they are an unintelligent careless society...
Now John UK. I think you may be tired and a bit cranky. But I will attempt to be more plain.
You have stated that there is no warrant for these young people to defend themselves nor seek restitution of their rights through the criminal and civil courts. You then said, perhaps hypothetically, that there are perhaps ten instances and nine state that they should submit to martyrdom, at least in a sense. I'm curious as to how you came to your conclusion that there are more instances of willing martyrdom than seeking defense before the judge.
Sleep well, Brother, and we'll look for your response in the morning.

The Quiet Christian wrote: John UK, might I ask for you to lay out your casr, then, for these six students to instead stop preaching where unpermitted and accept whatever punishment the government would like to mete out for having broken the interpretation of the law?
Quiet Christian, can I ask you if you understood what I just said? Perhaps as it relates to one disciple slashing at the head of another man badly wounding his ear, which Jesus then immediately healed and told him to put up his sword, which event is used as justification for millions of Americans to carry semi automatic weapons? Isn't it astonishing how a simple little event like that can turn out in the wonderful unbiblical world of DIY christendom?
Now QC, it is far too late for me to be answering questions, as I am to bed soon. However, if you wish me to answer in the morning, please rethink your question and make it more intelligible, restating it in plain language, as I have not a clue what it is you are asking. Thank you.
