Simple but beautiful truth! "The greatest thing in the world is to be saved"! I Timothy 1: 15
I was converted and saved by the grace of God and enabled to trust Christ alone without first coming into contact with any church. Having read John 3: 36; John 5:24; 6:37,47; Romans 8: 1, 9, 16 and I John 5: 9-13 I knew from the Bible alone that a Christian can have full assurance and KNOW that he has eternal life. I knew by the testimony and record of God's word that I was saved and prayed in simple believing faith that God would be pleased to grant full assurance according to His promises and by the inner witness of the Holy Spirit that morning I KNEW! I went to my nearest church that Lord's Day morning-the first hymn:
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.
Hot tears of joy fell onto my hymn book at such a blessing that the chief of sinners KNEW he was a child of God. This was the only time I heard any truth in that ecumenical Methodist church which had departed from God's Holy Word-the Bible and where none possessed that God given full assurance. Listen to this sermon- how can you go to sleep tonight without believing God's precious promises, without that blessed certainty and assurance? |

MuscariNo party or pants tricks. No Christian 'hopes' that any go to hell, on the contrary. Go and read I Corinthians 6: 9-11 and consider 'such WERE some of you' in that context. There is still hope for sinners- see I Timothy 1: 15. Jesus knows all about YOU Muscari and His word: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Gospel of John ch 3 |

***Isn't it funny how those leading "destructive lives" aren't the ones who raise a fuss about other people's lives***No it isn't funny, friend, to see sinful men reveling in or countenancing the wicked perversion of others. I much prefer this Christian Pastor who has a burden to see sinners (those leading "destructive lives")come to a true knowledge and saving faith in His precious redeemer...our lovely Lord Jesus Christ, than some one who rants about freedom of speech but can't tolerate Christian TRUTH. The destructive life will lead to eternal destruction, but you won't even make a fuss or a squeak? 'Personal attacks or insults directed at other users will be censored. In addition, we reserve the right to censor any other obviously inappropriate comments. Please press the button to submit your comment for review.' BTW That is the view of this website sermonaudio.com not the Pastor. That is the trouble of the internet. Anonymous mice who hide behind a keyboard spouting what they could never say face to face in a manly way. Freedom of speech is best served anoy mouse ly? |

Great Sermon! You put my sin before me incontrovertibly . . . and the fact that I do it because I love it.
Thank God for His grace and mercy. Thank God for His servant RC.
