Great Sermon! Thanks be to God that the often neglected Biblical truth on this subject has been preached once again. May those who hear take heed and repent, that God be glorified. |

Diane wrote: Frank wrote: Oh and a carnal man would have it no other way, so in my way of thinking they are the ones mostly responsible for this cultural change. Now their responsibilities are shared in an unhealthy way. I agree, Frank. The men are just as responsible and maybe more so for the cultural shift. Women can never really be happy when they rebel against God's design. I don't think women should be in any political office since we are ruled so much of the time by our emotions. I know how I am when I'm not in the Word of God. Amen to you both, Frank and Diane. I'm convinced one main reason so many women are unhappy and on antidepressants is because of their rebellion against God's will, place, and design for them. Women were not made to live or be like men and to compete against them. |

Allie wrote: The hardest thing about living for Christ in America is loneliness. Being dismissed and thought of as crazy or too rigid. That seems to be how we are persecuted and it is hard to live like that, but God promises to help us to endure and overcome. "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" {I John 5:4-5}."...In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" {John 16:33}. I just said a prayer for you, Allie, as I can very well relate to your comment. I hope the Scriptures above encourage you. God bless. Facebook just further confuses those who aren't grounded in the reality of the Bible. I don't have an account there but have heard they allow for identification of multiple "gender types" and "relationship statuses." People, you're either male or female, as God formed you. And either you're married or you're not. |

Diane wrote: I find it interesting that the majority of this court are women. We women are so susceptible to deception just as our mother Eve was. This is why women have no business in politics. They rule by their emotions, not logically as men do. I'm not saying this is true of all women. Christian women who follow Gods word have the mind of Christ and so are able to think more clearly. I speak from experience as a former non-Christian feminist. Amen! |

Adriel wrote: Hollywood and theatre are part of Satan's industries. The fact that celebrities have become demi-gods illustrate his influence upon the world. J.C. Ryle:- "The Christian must abstain from all amusements and recreations which are inseparably connected with sin. Ryle warns his readers to avoid ‘amusements which are invariably connected with gambling, betting, drunkenness, and fornication…If we love our souls we must have nothing to do with amusements which are bound up with sin.’ For Ryle in his day this meant warning of the evils of horse racing, bawdy theatre shows, card-playing (for money) and late-night balls etc." C.H. Spurgeon:- "It must be a strange school for virtue which attracts the harlot and the debauchee. It is no place for a Christian if it is best appreciated by the irreligious and worldly." "A step to degeneration If our church members fall into the habit of frequenting the theatre, we shall soon have them going much further in the direction of vice, and they will lose all relish for the ways of God. If theatre-going became general among professing Christians, it would be the death of piety." Thank you; good quotes. |

pennelope wrote: she was such a figure for women's liberation, but I remember watching the show and thinking to myself what a lonely life that would be in a high rise apartment, having no one that belongs to you there, but she could go outside on the streets and spin around and say she "found her freedom". now the hip bloggers of today are not so much on tv but on youtube lamenting the feminized males and live in apartments and wish they had a stable economy, a husband and family. praying today for those that are lonely. The Holy Spirit is the comforter of the lonely. I had similar thoughts. Her sitcom from the '70s glamorized the feminist lifestyle, which is not God's will for women {I Tim. 2:9-15 & 5:14-15; I Peter 3:1-7; Proverbs 31:10-31}. |

MS wrote: Sad thing is that many non RC and even Christians allow their vulnerable children to be educated in RC parochial schools, subjecting them to great spiritual as well as physical harm. You are so right about this, MS. Only by the grace of God did I not become Roman Catholic after attending a parochial school of theirs in my early years. The outcome of that could have been much worse. |

Isaiah 5:20-21 - "Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!"I Thessalonians 5:22 - "Abstain from all appearance of evil." I Corinthians 6:18 "Flee fornication." |
