I agree that the Eastern-Orthodox churches are not true Bible-based churches at all. They have long forsaken Biblical Christianity in favour of their own man-made traditions the same way the Roman church did. But as far as political intrigue and genocide is concerned the Eastern-Orthodox churches have never sunk as low as the church of Rome. But I believe that all the Eastern-Orthodox churches will evetually be swallowed up by the Roman Catholic system along with all other apostate churches.

No I don't have my testimony in print or online yet. But believe me there are many many more people who have left the homosexual lifestyle by the grace of God and found lasting freedom. A great website with testimonies (both in audio and in written form) from homosexuals is settingcaptivesfree.com who also offers a great biblical on-line course to help people leave homosexuality behing for good. I also recommend the audio testimonies from two former homosexuals on sermonaudio.com. Their names are Richard Yates (2 audio messages) and Peter-John Parisis (1 audio message on homosexuality). Both of them have been in the lifestyle and testify to the power of God to rescue people from the hell of Sodom. These messages need to be spread, so the world will also hear this side of the story instead of only the screaming of the homosexual activists spreading their satanic lies all over the place.

I rather had the children of Switzerland indoctrinated by Russian Orthodoxy than by god-less evolution. The Russian-Orthodox church is certainly not biblically sound, and yet I would choose them before the evolutionists, homosexualizers and even before the popish romanists.

Can't you just hear the whispering of the serpent and the flattering of a whorish woman in the pope's words?
"To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words..."
Proverbs 2:16

"For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil..."
Proverbs 5:3

"With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him..."
Proverbs 7:21

"When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart..." Proverbs 26:25

"...the kisses of an enemy are deceitful..." Proverbs 27:6

It is very dangerous to trust the pope. Millions lost their lives and even their souls because they fell for his sweet seducing lies.

You are right Mr. Williams, when I still "professed" a homosexual identity I did not have a disease, I was living in sin and rebellion against God. And guess what, I got convicted of the Holy Spirit to stop sinning and I did. Now I am not saying I have attained sinless perfection, but I am saying that every practicing homosexual can repent and turn to God and the Lord will set him free and help that person not to pursue this deadly devilish lifestyle anymore. I might still sin from time to time, but I am not LIVING in sin anymore. I used to believe that I could get saved and stay in the "gay" lifestyle. Now I know better. Homosexuality can be repented of and overcome by the grace of God and power of the Holy Spirit. Don't let those religious hypocrites ("arch-bishop" williams & co.)fool you or you might end up together with them in eternal damnation.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you Pastor Kuiken for this very clear and sound message on one of the most controversial issues of our day. As an ex-homosexual myself I wholeheartedly agree with the conclusions you came to in this message. I can assure you from personal experience that there really isn't anything gay about being gay. May God bless you with courage to continue to speak the truth in love yet without compromise. May God protect you and your church from any attacks of the enemy of our souls. I am looking forward to the remaining three messages you are going to deliver, the Lord willing, during the next few weeks. God bless you.

By the way, I am not the only "ex-homosexual" out there. Visit settingcaptivesfree.com for more testimonies of people who found freedom from homosexual bondage through Jesus Christ our Lord. This is an excellent website for people still struggling with this terribly addictive and destructive behaviour. It is NOT based on psychology but completely based on the Word of God which is so relevant to homosexuality and all other sins ravaging the world. Please pray for the salvation of many homosexuals, there are some of them out there who want to get free but don't know the power of the Blood of Christ to break the power of all sin.

No news to me either. I used to identify myself as a homosexual, even as a "homosexual Christian" (does NOT work!). I don't consider myself a homosexual anymore. I repented of all homosexual sin, broke all ties to the "gay" subculture and got rid of all pro-homosexual literature, movies and music. Change has always been possible...the Bible calls it repentance from sin and turning to God.
"...be not deceived...effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind...shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such WERE some of you..."
1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Wow, I did not realize how much sermonaudio.com has become a part of my daily life. When the site was gone I felt almost deprived. Now I do know that we have to keep priorities straight. But to be honest there is no other site on the whole net which has been such a blessing to me like sermonaudio. And everything I found on your website so far has only encouraged me to walk closer to the Lord and be more on fire for my faith. May God bless you Steven Lee and Co. for all your hard work. I am sure I am not the only one who highly appreciates it.

As far as my own country Switzerland is concerned I have to agree with Abigail that most churches avoid the subject of homosexuality and avoid to condemn the prevalent sins of our day. There is an enormous fear of man and men-pleasing in today's preachers instead of the fear of God and His Word. I used to be a homosexual myself and attended evangelical churches at the same time but never heard my sins clearly condemned. People are not called to repentance and holiness anymore today and that's probably one of the reasons for the terrible worldliness and lukewarmness of modern evangelical Christianity. I do not believe that a Christian loses His salvation just like that, but the Bible seems to be very clear to me, that a Christian can lose his salvation because he remains a free person and is able to reject God's word and the sacrifice of Christ even after his salvation and so will not be able to enter the kingdom of God. I have lived in sin though I was a Christian for many years and I thought I could get away with it, but I was dead wrong. I reaped the fruit of my rebellion and my body, soul and spirit suffered and still suffers terribly from sin's consequences. But I thank God for His chastening, because I believe that I might have lost my salvation eventually.

I would actually have preferred that Rev. Paisley would have given up his position as first minister of Northern Ireland and instead remained moderator of the FPC. But I believe it was a very wise decision not to burden one man with two such influential and important offices. I admire Rev. Paisley as one of Christ's champions in the world today, but I regret that he chose to hold on to a political position that might compromise his ministry, which has been so blessed for over 60 years now.

The thief (Satan) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (Christ) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10

If we would only realize that God's commandements are all for our good and our protection. Sin will always lead to death and despair. I know, I have lived in sexual sin for many years of my life and though I have repented of them I still suffer terribly from their consequences.

"Why do the heathen (including muslims) rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?"

"He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision." Psalm 2:1+4

Thank God there are still some English Baptists and Anglican with principles! I just wished there were more of this kind of churches who would not compromise with worldly and heathen practices. I can just see the liberals and ecumenists foaming at their mouths.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you so much for this comforting message. The system of calvinism is a terrible bondage and has created fear in my life for a long time, because I wondered if I was predestinded for hell. And to many reformed christians Calvin is almost super-human, much like a pope. I am not denying Calvin's salvation or his zeal for God, but he was totally human and capable of very serious error like all of us.

There is nothing fascinating about the gay lifestyle. It is utter confusion and misery. Nevertheless I find it extremely fascinating what God can do with the broken pieces of our lives if we surrender them to Him.

Fred from US: Have you ever listened to two sermons on this website by a brother called Richard Yates? I found them to be very helpful and as far as I know he is the only ex-homosexual who is featured on sermonaudio ( I might be wrong though!)

I can absolutely identify with your feelings Ed. But I believe that God demands some efforts on our part to find deliverance from homosexuality in all its forms. Even though I have broken all external links to the gay culture there is still a lot of gay weed in my thoughtlife, emotions and phantasies. But I am sure that God wants us to be pure in all our thoughts as well. Take this as an encouragement brother because I know how very hard it is to control our thoughts. Another good speaker on this issue is Joe Dallas who is also a sound Bible-believer. Don't give up brother, I have come to know men who have gotten completely delivered from this lifestyle and God loves to transform the lives of His children. If you have any helpful links on this issue, please let me know. God bless all of you strugglers for holiness out there and thanks to all helpful comments from all of you!

Thanks for your honesty Ed from US. I struggle with homosexual temptations myself and sometimes feel I am the only one who does. I also often doubt my salvation because of the horribly hypocritical life I have led for so many years. I have been a professing Christian for a long time and yet never completely broke with the "gay" way of thinking, speaking and even acting. I have finally repented of this sick lifestyle but sometimes wonder if I haven't gone too far already to still receive forgiveness for my sins. I totally disagree though with homosexuality being biological. I think it is a mental disorder caused by traumatic experiences and of course our own personal sinful choices which led us deeper and deeper into bondage to this particular sin. God bless all of you strugglers out there. Thank God in our weakness He remains ever strong!

The Carnal Christian: Diagnosed

“ Extremely helpful ”
This sermon has been immensely helpful to me. Nowadays people seem to fall into two extremes. Many people say that Christians might live pretty much anyway they want without consequences and some say that true Christians do not sin anymore at all. But both of these have been proved faulty by the mere realities of life. I am glad for this clear and straightforward biblical teaching on this much distorted issue.
