secrets from the inside of the RCC Lance ? Well that says it all doesn't it
I was terrified when I made my 'first confession) at six years old! I was pushed into a claustrophobic confessional box by (well-meaning) nuns and left to my own devices. The whole experience was creepy. Just me and this little covered-up window-like hole in the wall behind which, I eventually realised the priest was hiding.
No other option then, than for discerning members to leave the CofE before it becomes entrenched in the coming one world church, which is seemingly about to be launched very soon Rev. unfolds before our eyes !
Jim, How come there are so many muslims in congress? In what sense is that representative of the US population? I didn't think there were so many muslims in the US?
VERY worrying trend, bad enough in UK where muslims only 3% (I think( of population but make more demands for power than any other minority, and often succeed
Jessica, I was touched by your pain.It has deeply affected me and I will pray for your situation as you are bearing a very heavy cross. God be with you dear sister, may he be a source of comfort, help, strength, healing and support and may he provide joy in your life .
"BTW someone should tell him standing next to a modern American made Ford doesn't really inspire thoughts of innovation.... sorry to say. Some great cars in the past though, maybe that is why he went to a museum.... have some baptisms for the old dead cars."
I fear though that our time will come. We sit pretty in the west at the moment and yet what do we do with our time and money? I speak for myself here too . I know and am even more convinced that we need to spend more time in prayer
Thanks GG, I shall try and get hold of a copy. Mark Steyn also has similar views I have been told in his book 'America alone' which I would also like to read
No Mark, global warmng is not bunk. Wishful thinking on your part. The ice caos are melting and fast. Not bunk, truth. The point is why and what is causing it? As the scinetists do not really know they conclude we alone are responsible. But there is obviously more to it. Yes, Dessie, God is in control (Thank goddness !!!)and his Word forewarns us about climatic catastrophic 'bunk'
Nothing surprises me. Most of our problems have been caused by ourselves after all, if we are honest. Mankind was given authority over the earth and nature. We abused that and therefore will suffer the consequences.
Worse, Jim, I cant think of sny positive contributions of illiterate immigrants! Even their children who have the opportunity to do so in their host countries are not educated.
We in the UK never had a problem with Indian immigrants and others who settled well, integrated, were educated and worked hard. The problems are caused mainly by dare I be so un-pc as to say it, the muslims. They breed like flies whilst we have committed cultural suicide through low birth rates. They will accomplish our decline with their return to their loved 7th century Mohammedan way of life in a few decades. We have no-one to blame but ourselves.
Not all science is junk ! It has been established through experiments with rock that the co2 levels are higher now than ever before. This does not however, explain all as obviously there are cyclic changes and always have been, indeed with the medieval warm period stumping scientists. It is probable that we do contribute towards increasing greenhouses gasses but not to the extent the scare-mongers would have us believe. Most Governments do not believe it because I assure you with first hand knowledge, they are/have been unwilling to invest in alternative fuel projects !!!Neither do the environmental organisations.Do not trust any of them as they are all a hoax and are only interested in protesting !
He certainly must see something in the koran that I missed! It would I admit, bore me witless to have to study it, as just reading that chaos disguised in flowery language was bad enough.
I suspect there is another motive in this decision.I notice Ellis mentions in my view, an irrelevant detail ,his ancestors and their 'religion'. Why after all, should that have any bearing on his life and religion now?
Sorry Bruce, but not entirely true. Yes Arabs lived in what the Romans called 'Palestine' but so did Jews who never left. The Arabs living in Palestine were mainly nomadic and no different from arabs as far as culture, language and religion is concerned, in surrounding countries. Since 1900 Jews also emigrated to their ancient homeland and bought land off arab owners fairly and squarely. They set up Kibbutz, died like flies from mosquitoes as they got to work transforming the deserts and swamps into agricultural miracles. they lived in peace with their arab neighbours and helped and taught them.
After the arabs witnessed the transformation of the land they wanted it back and skirmishes broke out.
There is no mention in the newspapers in 1948 that the Jews forcibly threw out the arabs. They mostly went of their own accord encouraged by surrounding arab nations, not the least Egypt, who promised they would eradicate Jewish presence , hence allowing them to return and take all jewish land and homes!! Plan backfired rather only !
It was THE JEWS who encouraged the arabs to stay and share in the building up of a new Israel.
