It could possibly mean anything for you. Are you going to get out from behind your keyboard? No? Of course not, Canada is a secular humanist wasteland already. Of course, anything else is ridiculous.
Well you are certainly showing off your fruit (or lack of). This is no way for a Christian to behave! There's a reason why Christians have been tortured and killed down through the centuries, BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T FIGHT BACK. We are to give back love for hate. We are supposed to turn the other cheek. We are supposed to pray for those who hurt us. Not kill and fight. You have been exposed as either an ignorant Christian or a false convert.

"So do you sit idly by and wait for them to come take you?"

What can one possibly think when a comment like this is posted? If they "come for you", what do you intend to do? What does NOT sitting idly by mean?

Can you explain in detail what your plans are when "they" come for you?

Do you as a "Christian" purpose to pick up your guns and kill anyone that threatens you? Doesn't sound much like Christ to me.

If we don't keep people’s eternal plight in mind, ones immediate needs will force their way to the top of our agenda, & we will betray the gospel & the people who are in dier need of truth. By Christ setting one free & indeed, by what only Christ can & has to do for one alone. As truth being shared in a loving manner, as one of the most loving things, one can do for those who are spiritually dead & condemned. To proclaim why one is utterly hopeless left to their own-self, as it's blessed news, to hear. Why so Christ had to come for sinners & n't the righteous alone amen.
That unBiblical hatred, that is being played out, God sees it as murder of the spiritual heart, & no murder has eternal life, abiding in them. Without being a new creature in Christ alone amen!
Absolutely right NeedHim. We, as Christians must always keep our perspectives straight and focused on Christ alone. As soon as we lose focus of this, the enemy can lure us down all sorts of side-trails that steal away from God's glory and mission.

I am not a math person. I have never claimed to be, So when I see people today claim that we are at our smartest, I have to laugh.

We stayed at a college for a time (due to being evacuated because of wildfires), and I was taken aback with some of the work college students had on display.

I always had the preconceived idea that college students were smart and when they completed a project of any kind it was of the highest calibre. Not so...at least in this major college.

The projects had white-out on them, smudged ink, spelling mistakes...and this were the ones worthy of being displayed!

We are dumber than paint in this society. People have the attention spans of slugs and can be distracted by anything shiny.

The people of the Bible days were unbelievably smart and quick-witted. It's just going to get worse.

BTW...the Bible doesn't say the world is a globe. Quite the opposite.

Adblock is vital for the Christian who wants to do anything online.

I couldn't imagine going on a site that has unpleasing ads all over the place.

I am VERY selective over what site I go on. UK newspapers and such have no place in a Christian's browsing habits at all.

Anything you ingest through your senses is there forever. This is how we get desensitised to sin.

Who are you directing your comment to? I listen to mainly Calvinistic style preachers. I like Larry Philips a lot.

The world doesn't care about the difference between evangelical and fundamentalist. Anything in the world's mind that says "God" is hated. The world leaves it to Christians to argue over the difference between dust particles and dust bunnies.
There is a huge difference between the two. One is pleasing or at least tolerable to the world and the other isn't. One is seeker friendly and will bow to the flow of society and the other will not.

The world can tell the difference even if we can't.

Notice the article says 'Evangelicals', not Fundamentalists.

An evangelical can mean anything from Kenneth Copeland to your typical pastor from a Full Gospel church.

The world hates Fundamentalists because we stick and adhere to the fundamentals of the Christian faith. The hub of the Christian faith is the sovereignty of God.

Trump is not a Christian and has not surrounded himself with fundamentalists, but evangelicals for a reason. One points to God and man's need for repentance and the other points to "God loves you and you are good enough."

The mask will crack eventually. It's only a matter of time.

I guess another sore point is the fact that we are lights shining in the dark alleys of people's souls. What happens when you shine a spotlight in a dark alley full of homeless people and criminals? They hate it. You are exposing their sin and filth. Jesus wasn't crucified for being popular, that's for sure.

When the world hears us state that they are wicked sinners deserving of hell and God's wrath, obviously they are going to get upset.

Y'know it's funny...these same people don't believe in God (at least the God of the Bible), they think the Bible is a book of myths and mistakes, and Jesus was just a man.

What's so threatening about us? I mean, I know what's threatening, obviously, but to them...why does an atheistic sinner want to ban such things if he thinks those very same things are nonsense?

Of course, if you ask someone this question, they get mad and defensive and won't answer you directly.

If God doesn't exist in their minds then let to "fool" pray to his nonexistent God. What's the problem?

Even if it's offending to someone else...why? Why are they offended over someone praying to a nonexistent God?

The hate they have for us is real and powerful and the spirit that drives them on hates us and what we represent. They won't be happy until they have ground our bones into powder and scattered them into nothingness.

Comment didn't post Grr...it was a good one too!

Anyway, I was saying, you have to discern between genuine Christians and false-converts with ulterior motives.

We as Christians ache for the lost and hurting. We understand as most biblically saved Christians have been broken, crushed, stripped and brought low by the sovereign hand of God.

The walk of the Christian can be a lonely, solitary walk, but it doesn't need to be.

Well said, KDinDE.

Indeed if we let children be children, we would all be happier and more successful at being families.

Poor children are so confused in this world, they just don't know what to do with themselves anymore.

Youth in Asia, I totally understand what that's like. It's hard to go through God's pruning and not be able to talk to someone who's been there. All you get is band-aids and nothing genuine.

If you need someone to talk to, vent on or ask questions....feel free to write me. I would love to talk.

Very true. An unsaved unregenerate sinner can not choose God, nor has the power to do so. We are drawn to Christ through the Holy Spirit. We are saved in spite of ourselves.

Calvinists are at fault?! Wow...that's a twist.

Obviously, you have absolutely no idea regarding Calvinism or you wouldn't have the audacity to say something so ridiculous and ignorant.

Trudeau a Catholic? Hmmm....I thought he was a Muslim? When he was elected, he was pictured reciting the Shahada.

I guess to be all things to all men eh?

Those who are biblically saved will resist watching that which dishonors God.

It's only those with an unregenerate heart who gravitate toward this sort of sewer.

If we actually embraced the truth that Paul states that we are carrying around the body of our Lord in our arms daily, we would stay away from that which sent Him to the cross in the first place.
