Isn't this rich? Whether they realize it or not, they're witnessing
a miniature reflection of the gospel (John 15:13) within their own
created universe (which even though it's fallen, is still full of
God's glory--Isaiah 6:3)...and they're still trying to explain it
away as nothing more than some mechanistic biological process.

Marriage certificates are not about "love", they are about government
certification/recognition that a marriage (joining of a man and a woman
by God) has taken place. God working through government, which he has
established to protect/support the married couple and their family, is
ultimately the one who "marries" them. Anything else is just fornication.

I actually found this article's title amusing from
a truely Christian and Biblical point of view.

The way the title is phrased makes it sound like
people of our present generation are so much more
wicked than those of the past that Christ has (had)
to work harder (i.e. suffer more) in order to redeem
someone NOW than He did for one of our ancestors.

Then again, much of our government's present power
has been delegated by generations of citizens seduced
into the idea of having more and more of their tasks
and repsonsibilities done for them (i.e. educating
their kids).

I know of professing Christians who don't attend church,
but watch TV preachers, as if the local clergy are not
good enough and/or they don't want to interract personally
with so many other church-goers. Our church has a number
of shut-ins who are unable to attend but are still members.
--And then there are friends of mine who follow Harold Camping
who claim to find faith outside of the "church".
