ladybug wrote: Yes, we are are sinners, even the elect still sin. The elect have NO desire to compromise with false brethren and their false gospels. We dare not attack them personally, rather, expose their errors in hopes that God will grant them repentance to the knowledge of the truth. When accusations fly concerning the person, and not the person's false beliefs, things spiral downward. The way to battle error is with the truth, His Truth. God will determine the outcome, either bringing the one in error to a right understanding, or leaving them in delusion. 👍❤️ |

Acts 18 wrote: 24 And a certain Jew named hApollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. 25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. 26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, THEY took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly. Priscilla was under the spiritual headship of Aquila and was teaching along with him to Apollos, not solo,as Jen Hatmaker is doing. |

Stevenr wrote: Someone forgot the most important verse 1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. A blessed soul indeed, whom Christ shall find, not having our own righteousness (Phil 3:9), but having our robes washed and made white in the blood of the Lamb. (Rev 7:14). Great encouragement and hope for the true children of GOD. |

Stevenr wrote: Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. I can’t judge anyone’s heart or intentions. I have no clue if the woman is a child of God—just saying that if she is, she is up for a rude awakening. But then again, how many on here are in the same boat? It may not be homosexuality they are “promoting,” but what about pride? An uncaring and unloving heart? What are we promoting that makes Christ want to spew? Refreshing to read a post where someone actually isn’t trying to judge and condemn another sinner and refer to them in a condescending derogatory manner and consign them to the lake of fire. |
