Itâs late Frank, and Iâm tired. Wasnât looking for an apology, just gave you my take on the matter, if you are not interested in leaving it be, I understand. I apologize if I misread your posts, and will leave it there. Good night.
James Thomas wrote: Sister MS Ezek 16:38 And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy. God is jealous of His holy name (Ezek 39:25) and this ties back to the song of Moses: Deut 32:21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation. Those who were not a people, a foolish nation, was the Gentiles, the 10 tribes of the northern kingdom, to whom God turned to in mercy beginning with Paul(1 Tim 1:16, "In me first".)
Yes! Thank you brother, not many share this view. But, through my study of Scripture, this is what the Lord has revealed to me.
Frank, I appreciate you wanting to ask questions and not come off as a pompous holier than thou individual. You and I are around the same age and of similar religious backgrounds. (Ex rc). I respect your stance on feminism, and completely concur that it is the predominant evil of our generation and is forbidden by God in His Word. But, from some of your posts you seem to lump the ladies who post here as âevangelical feministsâ. Why? This is not a formal corporate worship service of the saints, but a âmixed bagâ of men and women expressing their views on a variety of religious news articles. I would like to be able to do that without feeling censured and I in turn will do the same. Perhaps the bristling I project in some of my comments, are a response to the rude and condescending remarks from some of the male posters. You have not been one of them, and have always been respectful. Hoping, this will clear the air and Christian fellowship will once more be restored between us.đ
Sister, as I said in my previous post the self righteous religionists are some of the nastiest folk on the planet. As Tim has proven once again. Prayers for brother James and family. Love you in Christ dear sister.
Sister lb itâs been my long experience around self-righteous religious folk, that they are some of the nastiest people on the planet and do more harm than good to the cause of Christ. We have a particular IFB group here in this town that goes out and screams at people every weekend on the street corners, they are an embarrassment and very detrimental to the Gospel.
Great Sermon! So many/most hate these messages that exhalts and honors Almighty GOD and puts sinner man at His Feet in the dust.
Arminianism free will religion is rife through this wicked world and in most of the brick and mortars of the USA.
Roman Catholicism is not a church it is a cult, so it matters not what they do or donât do. They need to be given the Gospel of free and Sovereign Grace that perhaps God in His Mercy and Grace would turn them from darkness unto Light.
Sister lb, I am taking a break from here, as there is absolutely nothing being accomplished but slander, innuendo, harping on nearly every thread about women and their roles in the home and society...I guess trying to make the point of get off this forum ladybug and MS and let us good ole boys continue on with our superior knowledge of the Bible and how great we all art. Take care, sister.
Frank, just to be clear. Disputes can take place and I personally do not judge, ponder, or pronounce anyone saved or unsaved. That is above all of our pay grades. But, when it comes to the Gospel, false teaching and false teachers need to be called out. Hope that clarifies my position.
Attach all the false labels you want, but it doesnât change the facts that the exaltation of manâs thinking over Godâs Perfect Will is at best foolishness, and at worst, devilish. It hearkens right back to the lie in the Garden. âYe shall be as godsâ Have at it with all your rabbits trails, mystical gobblygook, documents of sinners trotted out for the benefit of none. Just rehashed popery. How sweet is the fellowship with a handful of brethren who are humble and love the Lord Jesus in sincerity and truth, and love to proclaim the Gospel of Free and Sovereign Grace. Wonât find it much on here, but occasionally there is one here, one there who pops in to exhalt the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work for His elect on Calvary, keeping themselves out of it and not blowing the trumpet of what they are doing or not doing.
Either we have the Sovereign GOD of the Bible who from eternity past, chose who would and who would not be saved according to His pleasure, reasons, and His own counsel, or we have deified men and women who can deny the Almighty, manipulate His will, and then by our finite human reasonings and standards determine what is âfairâ and how to approach Him. Carnal man always wants to claim a portion of the finished work of Jesus Christ on behalf of His elect sheep, for himself, by saying a little sinners prayer, walk an isle, weep at the altar, take the preachers hand... But he is separated from God by sin, and can in no way apart from the exacting intervention of God, be saved. That makes us who are His sheep, rejoice and be the most grateful folk on the planet, and tell others of this great Gospel of free and sovereign grace.
We do not sanctify ourselves. We are sanctified by the Grace of God in Christ. Indeed, Christ is our sanctification. 1Cor.1:30. Believers grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18.
