Should women be prosecuted? What does the Bible say? "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man." Genesis 9:6
Yes; this was what I thought of as well. Sadly, we live in a world which lieth in wickedness {I John 5:19}, and people are past feeling and have consciences seared with a hot iron {Ephesians 4:19; I Timothy 4:2}. The devil has blinded many from seeing abortion for what it is: premeditated murder.

I would not spend five minutes in a church that didn't have a male pastor (who, incidentally, KNEW that he was a male!), preach and teach the King James Bible, and see people saved and baptized by immersion on a regular basis.
Would to God such churches as this were not so hard to find! I visited a church this morning, only to discover they used a false Bible translation and then showed a clip from "American Idol." I got up and left.

In the Lord's strength, the prayers and searching for a Biblical local assembly will continue.

Rather than join hands with questionable evangelicals and sign a document, why not stick with what we already have? Proclaim the word of God, nothing else is needed. What power is there in a drawn up document by men, signed by men and women?

So what has the power to change a heart, a document drawn up by man, or proclaiming what Christ has done?

Amen, sister. The Scriptures are authoritative, inerrant, and sufficient. It is the Bible which is given by inspiration of God for all needed things {II Timothy 3:16-17}. Documents like the Nashville Statement are superfluous and powerless.

"Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding" {Proverbs 9:6}.

Let us redeem the time and understand what the will of the Lord is, for the days are evil.

I've not seen it, either; I actually thought it was a video game before I read the excerpt above...

This is just another example of worldly foolishness in church services.

Ephesians 4:29 - "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."

Once upon a time, Christians recognized the importance of living a lifestyle that reflected the salvation that brought them out of the world. We need to go back to that time & stop trying to figure out how to fit as much of the world as we possibly can into our Christian testimonies.
Amen.

Now for the precious brethren here who are able to attend a true, bible believing, God fearing, Christ loving church, I praise the Lord! These brethren are a blessing to the gatherings they faithfully attend.
I praise the Lord for this along with you, Ladybug. It seems like such churches are becoming rarer in our land today.

By the way, I hope your grandson is doing well.

Ladybug, thanks for posting the quotes. I rather often think of what David said to Araunah: "...neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing" {II Samuel 24:24}. American "Christianity" often seems both costless and crossless, and yet that is no true Biblical Christianity at all.

I grew up and was raised in Baptist churches but would now call myself a Biblicist disciple of Jesus Christ. Having respect unto the Bible as the word of God, reading it daily, and obeying it accordingly is the principal thing for me.

Very much agreed, Brother Frank; I had the same thought when I saw the word "radical" in the title myself. I simply see no justification for any degree of feminism in the Scriptures.

God's blessings and regards to you and the misses.

This is ecumenism at its finest. All these man- made denominations/religions lining up is no surprise to the true elect of God. This is another reason why it is wise NOT to identify with any particular group/camp like 'reformed' or Roman Catholicism.
Good comment, sister. Indeed, I marvel at the allegiance some have for a particular church or denomination. In many cases, it seems to rival if not surpass the preeminence that should be Christ's alone.

That is why I would prefer to elope and skip all the useless ceremonies, and wasted money.
I understand this perspective and have often thought this would be the better way to go myself.

However, I do wonder if elopement is dishonoring to one's parents...

As for the "earlymoons," bad idea. They have the appearance of evil and present too much opportunity for sin.

“Access to affordable, quality health care, including a full range of reproductive care, is a critical precondition for anyone—especially girls and women, to pursue their dreams and grow into their best selves,” Seattle Storm Co-owner Dawn Trudeau of Force 10 Hoops said in a press release.

What a bunch of feminist, humanistic, ungodly drivel.

“ Great Broadcast! ”
Good warnings about emotionalism and sentimentality and the danger of living by feelings. "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord..." {Isaiah 1:18}. Reason needs to be based upon the unchanging truth of the Bible, not the fickleness of feelings.
