There is a hatred for Jesus Christ in most of the public sector. Anyone who dares to bring Christ into the public square can expect some sort of persecution. Having said that, Christ should never be allowed in the Mass of Christ. True Christians should flee from this Roman holiday, and turn from idolatry. There is no where in Scripture where we are commanded to "remember His birth". But we are commanded to remember His death, burial, and resurrection. Anyone who believes in the regulative principles of worship, should know better.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Oh, that professing Christians would heed this message, and cast off all associations with Rome; including the idolatrous "holy day" of Christmass. May those who have ears to hear; hear.

As one who routinely counsels abortion bound women, there is no doubt in my mind between the birth control/ abortion connection. Christians who proclaim they would never abort one of their children, do so by the use of abortifacient "birth control". The sad reality, most Christians have forgotten their Biblical roots. Prior to the 1930's, taking drugs to kill your offspring among professing Christians was not an acceptable practice. Fast forward 80 years.....those who practice biblical obedience, and allow God to be their "birth controller" are often ostrasized among their so called brethern. Make no mistake, sisters and brothers in the Lord, if the Lord gives you children, he promises to never leave them begging for bread. Having a quiver full is also an exercise of faith. If you say you trust the Lord, then trust Him with your family size.

Many years ago, I heard a pastor say these words, "where the crowds are Jesus isn't". From my personal experience, I have found this to be true. The are very few on the narrow way, but many on the broad way that leads to destruction.

It cannot be overemphasized too strongly, that there can never be any common ground or "discussions" with deviant perverts, whose goal is to deceive young impressionable Christians, accepting them as fellow believers. College administrators need to take a strong stand against Soulforce. When they step on school property, have them promptly removed from the grounds. You can't dialogue with the devil. If you have any doubts, GOOGLE "Soulforce". This is a well organized group, whose goal is to infiltrate College campuses, and poison the minds of our youth.

Could it be that we are now receiving the sanctions of Deuteronomy 28?

Our nation is reaping what she has sown.

No! No professing Christian can possibly justify celebrating this satanic holiday. Christians should also not be fooled into doing "alternative" things at their churches. No Bible characters etc. Come out from among them and be ye separate saith the Lord.

We are under an Islamic invasion due to the spiritual vacuum in this nation. This nation has spurned the Holy One of Israel, broken His commandments, and rejected His Son. Thus, He is turning us over to the Babylonians. God and His principles never change.

Jesus said, " I will build My church". The church are the called out ones. The church is not a building, denomination, or religious organization. The early church met in homes. The focus was on Christ and His kingdom, not personal kingdom building. Leadership ( preacher, elders, bishops) didn't exist as managers and those who lorded over the people. They were humble, hard working servants. The modern "church" has no resemblance of the early biblical one.

If God writes His law on your heart, you will gladly keep his commands. This is the main evidence that a person has been born again. If one doesn't keep His commands, then they are liars and the truth is not in them ( see I John)

Overcomer,
Amen. Every one who believes Christians should be active in whatever pursuit God has placed them is not necessarily a dominion theologist. In todays Biblical evangelical realm we love to talk faith but not to practice it. Rationalism has invaded the church. Will there be any faith when Christ returns? There is definite metaphorical language in Psalm 127 and the man is not only a warrior for the Lord but is a mighty warrior because the beloved is a faithful man with the Lord building the house. We are in a spiritual battle but nevertheless we are now on an earthly plane to be salt and witnesses for Christ and in trusting Him for our family there indeed will be more of a Christian witness who may speak with our skeptical enemies in the justice gate of this world. We indeed must be charitable towards others whom the Lord has not opened the womb in His providence.
Job 42:2
Agreed,we must be charitable towards those whom God has not opened the womb. But for those who have chosen to prevent child bearing, they should consider the source from which they derive their rationale. Have they searched the Scriptures regarding the matter? Or have they bought into a humanistic lie?

Overcomer, thank you for your clarification in regards to an earlier post, I appreciate your thoughts and the kindness of your words. I agree, we shouldn't let society decide what is the 'limit' on the blessings God gives, however, I do feel in these hard economic times, God does expect us to use common sense as well. May the Lord grant wisdom to those who ask, and guidance to all as we take everything to Him in prayer. God bless you overcomer.
With all due respect, Enough Already, "common sense" and "hard economic times" are not the driving force for a Believer in Jesus Christ. We love to hear about the heroes of the faith in Hebrews 11, but won't follow their footsteps:

"By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised" Heb 11:11

Those who trust God, in faith, to allow Him to be their family planner are at times, the most misunderstood Christians. But if they were "trusting" God for bigger houses, nicer cars, more vacations, better jobs, etc. most professing Christians would call that faith, while bearing more children would be considered, irresponsible, and poor stewardship. One word comes to mind;selfish.

Sounds like a lot of regular posters attack procreation. Why? Is there a biblical limit on family size?
Faithful Remnant,

It is truly heartbreaking that the majority of Christians view children as the world views them. A "perfect family" would be one girl and one boy. Of course, Christians cloak their anti-child mentality around religiousity. Words like stewardship and responsibilty are used to defend their anti-child attitudes. The pastors in many instances actually lead the pack with these attitudes, and infect their congregation with this unbiblical mindset. Those Christians who do allow the Lord to be their Birth Controller are often ostrasized by their fellow church members.

And the church wonders why abortion hasn't been abolished after 35 years?

Maybe it's time to take the log out of our own eyes?

This statement by overcomer is unbiblical, 'we could reclaim this nation once again for Christ'. This is the latest fad sweeping Christianity, like God needs us to fight for Him. We are called to PREACH THE GOSPEL, I have yet to find a verse that states we should fight to retrieve this nation for Christ's sake. This is a fallen, sin-cursed world!
Jesus will rightfully claim what is His at His second coming. Why would anyone want to hold on to this sin-infested, cursed world? Do not forget, we should not love this world, or the things of it, and should be in high anticipation of a new heaven and earth that is forthcoming.
Please allow me to clarify my comments...I desire more than anything to be with Christ and His Kingdom. I do not desire to hang around here on this sinful planet for eternity. But Christ did tell us to occupy until He comes. No one knows the day or the hour of that return. In the meantime Christians are to love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul and mind. They are to obey God's command to be fruitful and multiply and subdue the earth. Our part is to obey. We are to trust God for our family size. We are not to take our cues from Planned Parenthood. We are to raise godly seed for God's glory.

D. White,

The current anti-child mentality among Christians, was introduced to the church in the 1930's via the Birth Control League and Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood. Prior to this, it was unthinkable for a Christian family to neglect/reject the blessings of God.Children were equated with blessing, barreness was equated with cursing. ( I would encourage you to do a word study on barreness, shutting the womb, opening the womb)

Having and bearing children is an act of faith. It is the Lord God who opens and shuts the womb. Although man can thwart those blessings, through chemical abortifacients ( the Pill, IUD ), sterilzation etc

When we talk about presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice, would not childbearing be one of those sacrifices?

Why would a Christian reject what He calls a blessing?

What a delightful family. Just think, if thousands of Christian couples embraced the full quiver mentality, rather than the one or two child policy, as in Communist China, we could reclaim this nation once again for Christ!

Where there is no vision the people perish.

Just a curious question Democratic Conservative. How can you reconcile the pro-abortion, pro-sodomite socialistic platform with Christianity?

The Unitarian's are not Christians; period. The building where they meet is not a church. What these folks do stand for is universal "salvation" to all men. They are pro-sodomy, and pro-abortion. By every definition they are God-haters. True Christians should not get sucked up into the liberal media's hype. I'm not condoning what this troubled man did, but woe to those who call good evil and evil good.

Sadly, Billy Graham has been the Protestant Pope for millions of evangelicals. He has single handedly given millions false security of salvation based on making a "decision", which is unbiblical. He believes there are many paths to Christ, neglecting John 14:6 where Christ states, " I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Me" Billy Graham stated back in the early 90's "Bill Clinton would make a great evangelist, he has all the gifts". Billy Graham is also one of the founders of the modern ecumenical movement. All discerning Christians should flee from his "evangelism". It's loaded with leaven.
