I guess you didn’t read the article, did you, Watcher? In your zeal to point out all the “rebels” in Christian circles, you seem to have overlooked the fact that the church was in complete compliance with the government restrictions.
I did read the article. It didn’t say a word about what kind of music was being played, only that there were reports that it was “loud.” It may have been a heavy metal rock band, or it may have been two harpists and 18 people singing psalms. But let’s assume the worst. After all, that’s the very heart of charity, isn’t it?
I know several missionaries that are illegally taking the gospel into “closed” countries. I suppose they’re rebels in your book, too? Eh?

Throughout Scripture, a leper is typical of a lost sinner, and the ritual cleansing of a leper in Leviticus 14 provides a beautiful picture of salvation:
1. The PRIEST (and not the leper) makes the leper clean—verse 11, cf. I John 1:7.
2. The PRIEST (and not the leper) offers a lamb—verse 12, cf. I Peter 1:18-19.
3. The PRIEST (and not the leper) applies the blood—verse 14, cf. Hebrews 13:12.
4. The PRIEST (and not the leper) anoints—verses15-18, cf. I John 2:20.
5. The PRIEST (and not the leper) makes the atonement—verses 19-20, cf. Romans 5:11.
Thanks be unto God for our Great High Priest who has done it all in our behalf!

Amen, Ladybug. Another one, by W.A. Criswell: If we have any tendency whatsoever to look, we look at everything and everyone except God. Some look to Moses...There are others who look to ordinances, to baptism, and the water, thinking this will wash their sins away. There are others who look to themselves and examine themselves and ask: “Did I repent just right? Did I believe just right? Did I join the church just right? Am I living just right? Is my consecration just right?” They look inwardly to themselves, while all the while the voice of the living God is the same. “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.”
