How apllicable this message is today for the Laodicean church age. Where everything goes there are very few limits. When Bro. Madden and I were flying over Italy in 1975 he looked down from the plane before we were going to land in Rome italy and he said;(Right there is where I had to kill old Moxigumbo. Right down there on that beach). This was a great message in 1975 and it still is today. every young preacher and even us old ones can get a lesson from this great man on how to prepare for the battlefield. We live in a time of Satanic influence and powers at work in the world and even in our churches. We need to prepare for this battlefield because we are in the middle of it daily. We need the armour of God daily. We need to pick up our cross daily. We need to fight the good fight daily. We need to train daily. I hope God blesses you all as you hear this message like He blessed me over these last 35 years remembering it and calling upon this message to encourage me daily in the battle we have to wage daily.

“ Great Memorial Service ”
This was a great memorial service in glorifying God and remembering Buck's life. This is the only memorial service that I have ever been to that people just did not want it to end. It was a great service and to God be the glory. I knew Buck Owens personally and nearly all of my life. I was about 7 years old when I met him. I think that he would really be proud of this service and how the gospel of Jesus Christ was preached and how God was glorified during this service. God bless all as they hear this message and his friends and family remember Buck. Dr. Jim

What a concentration of Systematic theology these Debates are. Everyone should listen to these debates once a year to just keep themselves on the right theological track. No wonder these debates have such high traffic on both websites.

“ Great Sermon! ”
I have read many debates over the past 50+ years but this was probably the greatest debate by both sides of the fence. Dr. Chastain is a champion of the baptist position and I believe that his opposition champions the Church of Christ's side in like fashion. Though I believe that Dr. Chastain's arguments far outweigh the opposition's side this is an outstanding debate. I believe both sides were well satisfied with the results of their champion. Dr. Chastain was 86 years old when he debated but his mental capacity was still as sharp as if he were 50. He had committed to memory over 70% of the whole Bible and could quote it unfailingly. He had given his whole life to the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This debate is a great example of his teaching and preaching minnistry that he carried to the end of his race on October 3, 2007. May these presious words of wisdom and Bible teaching to bless thousands. Thanks to modern technology, even though he is now dead he still preaches God's Word.

I wanted to give people the opportunity to hear a realy great theologian preach God's Word. Dr. Farrar was my teacher in advanced Biblical studies at CMBI for at least 8 years. I loved his classes. He dove deep into God's Word to the depths and the heights of Glory. We wanted to share this sermon with you so that you could hear Bro. Farrar preach. He passed from this life about 15+ years ago but he is still preaching in the hearts of mnany of his students. Now when you listen to this message it will fool you. You will think you got it all the 1st time around but then listen to it again. The message IS SIMPLE BUT WITH GREAT DEPTH.

“ Great Book! ”
This is a fantastic book. It seems you live the joys and the shocking sadness with the characters in the book.These characters are all part of my family. I heard my great grandmother tell these stories many times and some would make fun of her and say that she was just telling tall tales. My father was killed when I was very young and my grandmother and great grand mother raised me. Sam Paul's daughter Hattie Jane Paul was my great grand mother and I was one of the only people who would set for hours and listen to her tell the stories about her father and her cousins brothers and uncles.She used to tell me I looked Just like her brother Willie who is also one of the Characters in the book. Her mother Sarah Jane Paul had run off into the Cherokee nation with Jim Ross while herhusband Sam was in Judge Parker's jail.They expected to see Parker hang my grandfather for killing a horse theif while resisting arrest. But the President of the United States pardoned Sam and he got out of prison and away from the gallows. To make a long story short my great grand mother was hidden from her father and was raised by her Aunt and Uncle as Sam's neice. Many people have loved the book and it will soon be made into a movie. My cousin Fred Waite rode with Billy the Kid in the Lincoln Co war

This was a super great class to teach. I had a ball teaching it and I go back to it at times just to laugh again at the funny things that happened in this class. Thanks class for all of your interaction and enthusiasm. It is great to teach such students as these people.

“ GREAT TESTIMONY ”
Bro. Mike did a great job in bringing out his innermost difficulties as a former Jehovah witness. These 2 classes have been a great help to others recovering from the Jehovah witness cult. I hope many others yet shall be blessed by Mike's great love for these people and desire to see them saved and added to God's true churches. When a Jehovah witness is truly saved they usually go to work for the Lord in a very zealous manner. Please listen to these 2 classes and begin to pray for those that you love caught up in this powerfull cult. You can reach them with God's help. You do have hope. So study and go to work rescuing the perishing.

“ What Great testimony of Christian Character ”
Everyones heart was touched as this mother who had raised her children in a God fearing manner got up and told the story of her dear son as he had tried to serve his God in his personal life. Peter Reimer died suddenly of a heart attack while in Africa on a mission trip. He was only 55 years old. Elfrieda told how Peter had read a book about David Livingstone when he was a young boy and had a great desire to follow in Dr. Livingsstone's footprints. Her desire to serve God all of her life shines through this great time of grief but resignation to God's ultimate purpose. What a great testimony these peoples lives are to the grace and mercy of God's will. Wally Peter's father them Got up and led the class as he does every Sunday morning in a Gospel song still worshipping and serving God in his hour of great testing. This is a great show of the power of the grace of God. God's grace is most powerful most beautiful when you need it the most. These people know how to live for God and they die well also. May God richly bless this family in their hour of grief.

I don't comment on my own messages very often but this is one that I would like to clarify a little. We discused the history of the Nephilim and other related subjects and I laced into this discussion and experiece that I had when my son and I encountered a specimen of the infamous BIGFOOT. I would probably have thought that I was seeing things if my son Jimmy had not been with me. When we got up to the place where the thing had crossed the road in front of us I stopped and looked at my son and said, " Did you see anything cross the road in front of us right here?" he said hysterically, "What did you you see?" and I said, "What did you see?" over and over again we were both in shock.Well you can hear the rest of the story during this class. By the way we both made our reports to the Big Foot research committee findings. I do not ever want to see one of those things again, and did not want to see it then. My son Jimmy says he wants to see one just one more time before he believes what he saw. Dr. James Phillips

I thought that it would be a blessing to all who listen to this testimony and give others hope who have loved ones in the bondage of the Watchtower group. Mike blessed my heart as he told his story of his years among the Watchtower. Mike has been a blessing to me these last few years in my classes. As I have taught the Bible from the original Greek and Hebrew he has been very excited while he learns what the Bible really has to say about the person of God. The Watchtowers" god and the God of the Bible are not the same God. Hear for yourself the story of this man's search for God.
