The judicial system planned on starting the process of persecuting Christians as a means of completely secularizing our nation. They were hoping that few if any Christians would give a hoot. The RCC , historically would conquer people groups and then " Christianize" them also known as servitude or enslavement. Yet , because of the violence affiliated with this practice , Catholics absorb people groups or cultures to the point of adapting their practices. This is why cultural catholics look like the world, vote along a liberal stance as many believe government is meant for the good of all people. So if a government says gay marriage is good, then good Catholics will agree, given the long standing practice of allowing " celebate " homosexual priests to continue in their office.
