Seems like the Bible (that "liberals" don't believe in) has good things to say about the word "liberal". Broad generalities are a snare to the user. If you are visiting a national historic site with your small children, and this is an area that has been warned by Homeland Security that it is a potential target for a terrorist attack, and a group of very forceful proponents of a religious nature get in your face and your children's faces, approaching the site more closely than allowed by law, you cannot say with certainty that because they are saying things you believe in, that this means they are not a threat. In fact a terrorist intent on heaving a grenade would cause less alarm if he were behaving like John the Baptist than if he were acting like Osama bin Laden. Now, get real! The Park Ranger's job is not to discern doctrine, praise the Lord, or condemn sodomy. His job is to protect the site, and the tourists, and the schoolchildren, and that's it. Don't turn these faithful public servants into anti-Christian gestapo. They don't deserve that no matter how much you like Mr. Marcavage's "in your face" brand of street corner evangelism. |

There are billions of days. But only one first and one last. John 5:28,29. I guess Jesus did not consult with Messers Schofield, and Ryrie, and LeHaye. Oh well, I guess I'll go with Christ on this one! |
