Most of the time the best post is the one you don't post. No one ever accused a silent person of causing division. Part of the reason i don't post like i used to, is that these threads become a platform of teachers with very few students. There used to be more love for one another than there is now. Love for those who you even disagree with. The mind is changed through grace, mercy, and love. (This post was not made with any individual in mind) Blessings |

Christopher... much appreciated as others have already said. Christ was the fulfilment of the law. Which we ourselves could not do without him as the forerunner. Which is why he is our king. Our Lord. How amazing that he can still call his apostles and friends his brothers? He having conquered can provide obedience through him. Which is impossible in ourselves. Oh, the richness and mercy of God. Still... The Lord requires obedience. Which he can supply to us through the new birth. But that is through love. Jesus summed up the ten commandments with the 2 you quoted. Both of which start with an action, love. Love is the fulfillment of the law. If we bed ourselves in that type of love we will never be disobedient. Truth be told... there are plenty of warning scriptures. Which some have a hard time dealing with. Because it challenges things that seem settled. So it can lead to longggggggggg discussions. So let's keep it simple... What does the word of God say? Not... What do we want it to say. Take care |

If i read the word repent in the kjv for the first time...If i read the word repent in the esv for the first time... If i read the word repent in the nasb for the first time... And so on... It still must be explained and understood. And acted upon. Consider Job, who had no scripture. Must every thread be guided into a kjv/calvin debate? |
