But, as is usually the case with these online debates, direct challenges are sidestepped and the next point in their list is presented instead.
No one whined when Obama gave out more Presidential Medals of Freedom than any other president, Jim. Or when he gave them to Tom Hanks, Robert De Niro, Ellen DeGeneris, Michael Jordan, Bruce Springsteen, etc. Now there's some that have contributed to the nation, and deserve the nation's highest civilian honor, don't you think?

In what way does the existence of sickness demonstrate health is a human right?

No, but if he doesn't repent, he will.
Joel, socialists don't smile because they are basically miserable people whose fondest wish is that everyone else be as miserable as they are.
Towns and Counties and States and governments of all sorts and sizes do have the legal right to the bread you have earned. The laws and ordinances they make give them the right. Otherwise, who would pay for them to make and enforce the laws and ordinances which give them the right to the bread you have earned?
John UK wrote: Mike, I thought the whole idea of a watch was to watch.
John, is this tongue in cheek? Isn't the watch of Matthew 24:43 understood by the watching Jesus spoke of in the previous verses of chapter 24? Are we to think Jesus meant by watching that we are to go outdoors, never sleep, and watch the sky for his coming? No, but we aren't to be like those in the days of Noah, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, while ignoring the impending doom, but rather to stay alert. Watch, be ready, in other words.
Matthew 24:44 "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."
Be ready. Be aware. The time cannot be known, so it is not about keeping physically awake. Same with the goodman of the house, as a thief won't send a text alerting Mr goodman that he is coming.
John UK wrote: It's a good question Mike, but an even better one is, "How can the goodman know in what watch the thief would come?" Another question would be, "Mike, surely you do not sleep with your eyes open?"
Being alert doesn't require sleeping with your eyes open, John. Neither did Jesus imply it. It's a preparation attitude.

John UK wrote: Mike, I am mystified when you say "it is clear there is no scenario where he would". Do you not believe that God drowned to death the entire population of the planet earth bar eight souls? This is not speculating, this is biblical truth.
Yes, Bible says all but eight were drowned, which proves a remnant saved according to the election of grace. Speculation is going beyond Scripture. Saying he could do something he will not do is speculation, no?
Genesis 8:21 "And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done."
He's the rich guy who condemns other rich guys, but keeps his Vatican money in the Vatican. He's also the guy who hates walls being built to keep lawbreakers out, yet has a wall around his big house. Who does he think he is, Nancy Pelosi?

I once had to do a lot of traveling within my state as well as out of state and his radii broadcast was one show that I frequently listen to in my travels. Much of his show was very racially charged. I have nothing against him but I can’t praise him either. I am, however, sorry he has Stage III lung cancer. Having worked in Oncology I know what lung cancer can do, and the stage he has been diagnosed is usually fatal and the different treatments are very hard on the patient. And being a racist is not an unpardonable sin.
I guess Limbaugh being a racist is why his screen caller for years has been a black man.
