Dr. Tim wrote: Cora, you are so right about racially divisive preachers. Noteworthy among them are Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Jeremiah Wright. These men do absolutely nothing but stir up racial strife. And why not? That is, after all, their bread and butter, and they know it. If they acknowledged that race relations in America are not nearly as bad as they pretend, they would actually have to make an honest living. Cora, . . . “ divisive preachers … stir up … strife. And why not? That is, . . . their bread and butter, and they know it . . .”DOCTOR Tim, you are spot on. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why people can’t see this for what it is. Portraits of men hanging, for centuries, in the HALLS of INJUSTICE, continue to be an offense to those denied recognition for their achievements. Even portraits of evil-doers are in these halls to laud over others with purposeful, and not so subtle messages. Having fallible men, including fallible Christians, voting into position fallible men to establish fallible laws, boggles the mind. We preach Christ. Why can’t they just enforce Galatians 5:22 & 23 which is embodied in Christ and the Gospel of Christ? Or is this the Christian’s call? |

Dr. Tim wrote: Genuine diversity and inclusion must encompass not only racial balance, but social as well. Black, Asian and Hispanic people must be represented, and they must include not only doctors, but also winos, drug lords, janitors and garbage men. And don't leave out the usual quota of fags and butch lesbians. Just be extra careful not to put up portraits of any Bible-believing Christians. After all, we don't want to get THAT diverse. I guess DOCTOR Tim America is going down the tubes by making the playing field level for anyone having contributed to its success in medicine, physics, chemistry, literature, etc.The "LIBERALS" are not satisfied with having whites at the top. They reject a white Jesus, a white house, white president, a white America, white leaders in every place but the cotton fields. Prestigious people are not to be found among winos, drug lords, janitors, garbage men, fags and butch lesbians. Oh! Don't forget white sepulchers. |

Dr. Tim wrote: "Gay Christian." Despite years of working with addicts and prisoners, I have yet to meet a self-described "Christian drunk." Don't know any Cutthroats for Jesus. I haven't encountered a movement for dope dealer inclusivity. No, we expect saved people to repent of every known sin--except the sin of Sodom. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. (Luke 21:28). Take heart, fellow believer. The fourth quarter is almost over. Ditto, ditto, ditto. No other group I know of has paraded their sin, blamed it on God, and demand space in the pulpit. That said, we do have racially divisive pastors in many pulpits. It is demonstrated by their social interactions. Even so Lord Jesus, come quickly. |

Don Tian wrote: He is probably looking over at Zimbabwe, where they attack the white farmers, then appropriate their lands. So he will try to imitate them and get the white's real estate properties taken from them, allowing them to live there or move out, with no compensation. We may see an increase of these refugees from South Africa. What is truly ironic is that, though white, they will become 'African Americans!' Surely IRONIC! "...'What is truly ironic is that, though white, they will become 'African Americans!'"Why can't people just be people. Or, if one is African, then let it be the only description. If Greek, then likewise. French, the same. But to describe someone based on the color of their skin can become discriminatory and certainly non-productive. |

This is really heartbreaking. When I was a child, perhaps eight or nine years old, I heard often that "White" people used terms like "hell" and even "heaven" to cause minorities to seek rewards in the after-life. “You’ll get your rewards later,” they’d say. "Whites have no problem stealing, lying, treating people of color like dogs, etc.” I don't want to go on with the lies told to minorities. But as a young child, those impressions can determine life’s outcomes. Today, young men such as this pastor are dealing largely with racism in the white pulpits and failure to help those who have been marginalized. They see how whites have taken advantage of others for centuries; in the church and out of the church. They witness segregation among Christians. They witness divisions in society among Christians. They witness Southerners continuing the narrative of black vs whites, etc., etc., ETC. There is too much to mention here. Will we continue to segregated ourselves from those who look different although they are part of the Body of Christ? Has our own "righteousness" become our idol? Are we really in the faith? Does "hell" really deter one from mistreating others? Or, are we presuming upon the mercies of God? Where do we go from here? |

James Thomas wrote: Isn't that the motto on the back of the global warming shirt? We but did not take it to heart to listen. We awed in disbelief. Now we mourn. Our officials are like clouds without water. Their consciences are seared and (their) thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another (Rom 2:15) Their throat (is) an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: (Rom 3:13) When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked rule, the people mourn (Pro 29:2). Even though they were not heard, their expressions tell the story in this best selling book: “UnPresidented: The Inauguration of Donald J. Trump and the People's Response 2017” by Joe Newman and Shamila N. Chaudhary |

John Yurich USA wrote: Why are you sticking up for Yolanda? You must also be against celebrating the Birth of Christ? There is nothing unscriptural about celebrating the Birth of Christ on 25 December even if He was not born on that day. John YurichI like the way you drive conversation. Now about celebrating Christmas as the "birthday" of our precious saviour you have my previous comments. Please refer to them. I must remind you though of this. Many unbelievers do not want to engage in any conversation about Christ. They will state that it is just a tradition. It is the one time that genuine Christians should talk with the lost; seeking to give them understanding about the eternality of Christ. We should seize the day; redeem the time, prick the conscience of the lost and hope that the Spirit in the word of his power will give them hope. Surely the Lord will set many free from "Frosty the Snowman", "Jingle Bells", "Baby, It's Cold Outside" and much more nonsense. And John, please remember Demetrius' scheme in Acts. |
