While the excess of mankind is destroying the earth and wildlife, there's mad hypocrites that do not regard such things while they chase down resources, as they say they believe that it is to the benefit of the people.

Get real, Mike? do you mean to say that mankind have not wickedly trampled God's green earth?

Lev. 18:25 "And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. (26) Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you: (27) (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled; ) (28) That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you."

Lev. 25:6 "And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee. (7) And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat...(19)And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety...(23) The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine, for ye are strangers and sojourners with me."

Isaiah 28:12 "To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear."

Jer. 21:4 "Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands...(5) And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath."
Deut. 28:14 "And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them."
Jer. 5:9 "...shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? (10) Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD's."
Dan. 9:27 "...and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."
Mat.23:37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! (38) Behold, your house is left unto you desolate."

There are many so called Christian brothers that do not keep the prophets of Israel, and those of so called Israel who reject the doctrine of Christ and the Apostles, whom we are commanded to hear.

The numbers are but a smokescreen: it has been noised that the covetous have rung up values exceeding 40 trillion in so called 'dark pools' quite apart from what is entered in bookkeeping: making it bigger than gov't if the situation so requires.

Seeing it will take the process of shaking as found in the 7 seals and 7 trumpets before the 4th horn/final dominion of men is able to enter, when they will stir up the riches and power to overtake the current market system, as the bottomless pit is opened and the locusts sting men 5 months for to shore up all authority using the mark of the beast: seeing this, we may know that the powers that be are divided against themselves, despite their deceits. Since it is before the time, instead of driving through to the height of capability, the powers are divided, but not for long. For all the national debt, it is admitted that it must be paid back, and thus the heavy spending makes it impossible, but that a raiser of taxes will be the bud of the plant, whose root is of all evil (being the love of money). So, to transfer in a figure the destruction of that man, or his lot and estate (as I meditate in Daniel 11:20), upon his end will be the end of all competition before the next yield of the root, even to the fullness of the transgressors

Sending the Holy Scriptures into the ash tray? God forbid.

Lamentation 3:25
"The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.(26) It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. (27) It is good for a man that he bear the yoke of his youth. (28) He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him. (29) He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope.(30) He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach. (31) For the LORD will not cast off for ever: (32) But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies. (33) For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. (34) To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth.(35) To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High, (36) To subvert a man in his cause, the LORD approveth not."

333,ooo dollars is but a drop if it is under the hand of a good steward, but, a covetous measure by several times if its attending to one's own possessions (as if it were their own): a low wage worker doing the basest necessary labor, working full time year round might pull in 2o,ooo dollars. Then there are those who make wages of all levels off of all manner of things that are of no necessary benefit to society at all.

As for who is genuinely hungry, it does not surprise me: how long does a person have to undergo depleted amounts of food for them to begin to be hungry? Not long, really.

The doctrine and faith of Christ, which is the great grace among all the believers, would have it established that we desire the word and will of God above the necessary meat that perishes, nor taking thought for it, as the Gentiles do. For we know that in a healed nation there will not be bearing the shame of the heathen, nor children left malnourished. So the word of God is or daily bread, and do his will is our meat of reward.

Lamentations 1:19 "I called for my lovers, but they deceived me: my priests and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their meat to relieve their souls."

My question would be, why do you assume cannabis existed in the Garden? Was Adam or his animals in need of medication, or a little altering comfort? If assumption is to be made, I suggest cannabis didn't exist until after the fall. It would have served no purpose, good or otherwise.
Mmhmm. Just analyzing the things the Lord has revealed, and the variety that existed, would have needed to be grafted and tended to by the people that lived. The flaming sword set to keep the way of the tree of life was set knowing that the way would need to be kept against the eventual flood during Noah's time. Lest the fallen one's eat of the tree of life, and so live well beyond a thousand years, the Lord put a preservation by his word, until the time when the people could eat it but would not live forever due to other conditions, namely, the sin of not believing in Jesus Christ, or otherwise, posses the right to the tree of life, but not eating it, yet still have eternal life through Christ Jesus. That is what is evident to me, and thus to conclude that it is not a plant originated/developed by sinners, as you surmise.

Not to get into more than a little here and a little there, but also to speak what I believe, I will tell you that the doctrine I hold is accurate with the word of God, and at 34, know the line between what is given by the Lord and what is not given. Consuming the elements is no more a requirement or need than a crown of rejoicing is required or needed, where the brothers may agree as touching the thing, in proper time and place, and forbear where not agreed, such as with any thing we may provide evidence of the will of God against: which also applies to those substances which should not be done with any frequency or even at all. For our bodies are to be treated as the temple of God. Beyond cheer of the heart, and mirth, (which are not to be cast out but are found in the kingdom) one accounts for expedience, and truth, and liberty, and for what is the good and right thing to do. Over all, that is to not have the love of this life, nor to walk in pleasure (lusting and choking out the Holy Ghost), but to walk worthy of eternal life, holding forth the word of life.

Let not my brother CV say so.....nay God forbid. If you want to know, my addiction is of the gospel, and of the fellowship of the saints who speak the truth with one another. Honestly, the herb is a byproduct, and purely secondary. A master over me? That's Jesus talking about mammon first of all, but, as applied to your logic, I have no binding addictions, and I don't see how moderate use of something automatically makes us addicted, or under the power of any. Try the spirits, whether they be of God: not judge them for being forthcoming about the liberty, and holding the right in reserve of a bonus (plus plus, yea yea) additive. If you esteem it unclean, to you it is unclean: I seek to not offend you, but let you abide your own calling as well. Albeit I admit it astounds me the attitudes that prevail, hardened against the sound minded arguments for cannabis and hemp, all the good things in the sight of God and man.

Hey Golden Mean, thanks for your input, telling us that you are nay nay on cannabis and hemp, and also adding your paddle to the waters, by telling the rest of the rowers what to do (saying that we are tares instantly), contrary to what the governor listed. Out of 1300 possible characters in our comments, do you have an explanation for how these Scriptures do NOT apply to cannabis? Gen 1:12 "And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good." Psalm 104:14 "He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth"

So, if any man breaks one of the least commandments and teach men so he is least in the kingdom: but we are tares because we give thanks to God for a little herb. I don't think cannabis is remotely a root of evil: but evidently you and others do think so, jumping right in accusing sober, honest, hard working people (who are not reprobates) everywhere.

1Cor 7:17 "But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk (24) let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God (31) "And they that use this world, as not abusing it:"

Brother John from San Jose, are you standing up to say that there is not a moderate and graceful, thus legitamate use for cannabis? I can not tell by your remarks. Nor can I stand to reject the testimony of said-professed Christian brothers, or know them at all, but by the spirit and word that is in them. For example, I do not judge partakers by grace to be in sin, nor do I judge them that forbear from exercisiing their right to cannabis as being in sin. Surely this registers in the agreement of the holy saints.

Force and vengeance belongs to the LORD: not man. But the lot of you so called Christians that are desirous to bring under punishment, and not rather do the living works which are by the grace of God and faithful to the doctrine of Christ, have me wondering what does hinder you from filling up the works of your father.

Surely brothers acknowledge that Apostle Paul already indicated that homosexual activity (which would not come to my mind at all, if it were not for the endless parades for and against it), is already recieving the recompense for their error, which is also unworthy of eternal life, and so is worthy of death unto the second death: why need we to seek their net?

Romans 1:26
"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: (27) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and RECIEVING in themselves THAT RECOMPENSE of their error which was MEET."

Hey Rick, the problem is you kick against the truth, and against the pricks that the Lord God have made openly known to all men. You greatly ERR to say pro-pot equals anti-christ. I figure if I were to drink even a deadly thing (unknowingly: but not the mixture of the wine of wrath and of fornication, or of inflaming excess, which is done knowingly by sinners), that being Jesus' disciple, that Satan could try, but, I would keep Christ's word in my heart, and thus thwart wicked influences of demons. I hope that you would say the same for yourself, and those past experiences were because you were a novice unexperienced.

That was a very informative video series, Written In Heaven, thanks for posting it on the Lord's forum. Those experts and witnesses had some very very saint-like, reasonable, and intelligent things to share. Especially about the various uses of HEMP! But I was disgusted at the scenes of police brutality that were flashed up, and their processing and judging of those strangers and brothers. Makes me think who really needs to sober up, condescend, and humble themselves, and how many would learn the word of God when the powers that be cease to exalt themselves over their brethren, which is God forbidden.

Praise to God and his son Jesus Christ who was crucified, who appointed the Apostle and instructor in the faith Paul to write unto us, how that striving about the law is unprofitable and vain: and among other things, also sets us free from the commandments and doctrines of men (which are not of God).

So, while all things are pure and nothing defiled of itself (but all things are defiled to abusers and wasters), I'm sure you brothers have judgments before the time, and are quite ready to put even your liberal-yet-sober brothers to naught. Though we fulfill the royal commandment to love one another, and we do unto other as we would have done to ourselves, strictly, yet are we in jeopardy as the police are desirous to apprehend over an herb which bears seed after it's kind.

As the Scriptures are plenty sharp to cut hairs, yet methinks these worldly priests still do not know how to cut the sweet smelling sacrifice well-pleasing, meet to be offered, which was of good report, and produced by the Father of Lights. For you seek to prosecute laws, and equate the freedom to handle marijuana as "wicked cynical deceit", that would cause "the end of civilization"; opposite to the healing the nations. Yet is wisdom justified by her effect, even in this present hell-bent world.

I myself do not require anything to be spoken to me but the language and context that the Holy Bible uses, and the terms and expressions found therein, versus the phrases and terms of men's devisings.

Isaiah 32:3
"And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken. (4) The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly. (5) The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful. (6) For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. (7) The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right. (8) But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand."

Jesus said if we do not have a sword, to even sell our garments (if we must) in order to buy one: not steal one! alas, praise the Lord for fruits worthy of repentance, should they be enlightened by the Word of Life, which we handle daily.

San Jose John wrote:
Most if not all redistribution advocated by Christ was VOLUNTARY.
(Acts 4:34-37), not government imposed (by taxes, witholdings, etc.).
If Christ were socialist, he surely would've prompted the poor widow to keep her two mites, and recieve much more from the treasury in which she placed them. Instead He praises her for giving all she had.
Clearly Christ has a much greater message in mind that mere socialism, based on His life and teachings in the Bible.
Including those teachings

-to beware of covetousness (for God will judge)

-that it is more blessed to give than to receive

-there is more to life than food or raiment (but our life is by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Father JAH)

-to take no thought for our lives, nor for the morrow

-and, that we should be prepared to reject the mark of the beast, when it comes, thus to foregoing the right to buy and sell

The problem with the incisive article and replies against the unemployed and/or those of us who have no money, is, how partial you are in quoting the doctrine of Christ Jesus and the Prophets, and the bare-boned offerings (in the name of the blessed) which are given for acknowledgment that, whilst we eat no man's bread for nothing, we remain meat and prey to the covetous, all in the name of "earned wealth", and while denying the balances are falsified. Without cease year after year capitalist barnyard politicians neigh, moo, oink, and bark no different than than the beasts of the field. We could form a mighty army of men who have worked 10, 20, 30, 40 years without being detained before the LORD for fellowship and accountability, who have had no observance of sabbath days or feast weeks, and much less the due leave and release that comes during the years of liberty every 7 years, and compensation for those years that were deferred. Nay, Paul said "I do not say to thee how THOU OWEST UNTO ME even thine ownself besides." and for perfect and justified reasons said "have we not power to FORBEAR working?"

Praise God for what is good and right from rulers, but not in the form of strings attached, and money that cannot redeem honest brethren from their yokes and debts.

Interacting with the congregations in Tulsa which enact the teachings of Oral Roberts, we find that they do not entertain the seed which is the Word of God, but money only. Tulsa has many churches which network and keep that doctrine: some chant "Money cometh to me now"; other stripes are staunch pro-Israel, pro-military and law enforcement. Many hold the false teachings of speaking in tongues as evidence of being born of the Holy Ghost, and that the congregation will not need to endure the hour of temptation which then turns into the great tribulation (that we overcome the Beast indeed), but expect to be raptured, so causing many unlearned to trust in lies. Rhema, Church on the Move, Victory Christian Center, and various denominational, and numerous non-denominational scattered throughout the city. The one time I was in the same building as Oral Roberts, the people walked up to the altar as if giving to Jesus Christ's treasury: I gave a paper that read "TULSA, VATICAN, JERUSALEM." One time I kept testimony with Bill Daugherty (who died a couple weeks ago): his only answer to me? "Speak here with my lawyer".

Do you Christian brothers still not discern by wisdom the king of Babylon, and his golden city O.R.U., described in Isaiah 14:4? First we have to fear God.
