Jessica Dawson wrote: ]]Muslim bakeries refuse to bake cakes for gay weddings VIDEO That was good Jessica. When you scroll down to the comments though, it's shocking to see how vehemently anti Christian people are. |

Frank wrote: I do know that whenever we go places we see folks using their smart phones and it always looks like they are addicted and in some kind of world of their own. I have always felt a little uneasy about social networking sites because I simply don’t trust most people and I don’t want people interfering with or being able to monitor my life. It's interesting. Back in the 70s I used to work in a biker bar as a bouncer, and later as a musician. If this technology had been used there and then with people taking pictures of you and posting them, and tweeting about you. That would have only happened once. Then they would have never been able to text aging. Unless they learned to do it with their toes. As wild as I was in those days, the cliental scared me. The pendulum has certainly swung too far in the other direction. |

carl h wrote: My wife is addicted. She must check fb at least 50 times a day. Earlier it was 4 times in 10 mins. :'( My prayers are with you Carl. It's difficult to find a church here in the states where people are not texting during the entire church service, or playing games on them. I know some get the bible on them, but these folks are texting to the extent it's hard not to be distracted. |

Mike wrote: I think the flag controversy is just to get people's minds off the real issue.. The forgiveness of Christ for the most wicked sinners. The media made this the issue when the victims family members came out and forgave this young man for his wickedness. It's too bad the mainstream. Churches have jumped on board with the Media instead of showing the love of Christ and His grace. Exactly! It's media misdirection. They could not stand to see the church acting like the church. The media and leftist want to see strife. |

pennnned wrote: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYShw4J73UA title: "Urgent.. Yazoo Prison Torturing Pastor Kent Hovind" folks they've been moving him around and now he's in some kind of solitary situation, as they've done to him so many times where they put him in a cold room without necessary clothing, even though they are supposed to be letting him out in a number of days. apparently people close to him are concerned that he won't make it out. please pray for him! Thank you for that post. I have had brother Ken in three churches, and he opened a lot of people eyes to the fact that evolution is indeed a religion. We continue to pray for him as well as the Mennonite group being attacked. |

Stephen Crawford wrote: Very sad to read this article indeed. All you guys having a doctrinal argument below should remember this that The Lord Jesus Christ is coming again and we need to be living our lives totally surrendured to him. Its very easy for any of us to fall I am reminded of the saying 'there go I but for the Grace of God'. The least we can do is to show compassion for Tullian and his family at this time. Its easy to judge him for his sin when we have sin in our lives which needs dealt with. Remember them before the throne of Grace and Prayer tonight. God bless You are indeed right. I had thought about that after I made my post. |

Lie Detector wrote: Arminianism certainly is heresy, but it's peanuts compared to the monster Calvinism. The lying doctrine of the sin nature has put more souls in hell than anything else in the history of mankind. You've only got to ask them why they remain in bondage to their sins, and they tell you "I can't help it, it's the sin nature." You tell people they are totally depraved for long enough and they will eventually believe it, and behave accordingly. It's gnostic, pagan, Greek philosophy, and if you believe it, you have to conclude that Moses and all the prophets and the Apostles and their disciples and the early Fathers (we have their testimony) were all false teachers until Augustine showed up in the 4th Century to set everything straight, a man with known connections to gnostic cults. This is not rocket science. There is no Jewish heritage for the false doctrine of Original Sin. None. There are no rabbis who teach it today. It's pagan. No one should take this guy (lie detector) seriously. Let him rant on. He is bent this way. And only a sovereign act of God can shake him loose from his false delusions. His posts exemplify the very thing he is arguing against. |

Wayfairer pilgrim wrote: I do not believe that the propaganda of gay late teens being kicked out of the house is as prevalent as the course of a true prodigal. Often a prodigal shuns the parent and leaves on their own. The problem with Moore's supposition is the the hayseeds are chasing their children out of the home. If your home is a Godly home where Christ's love and standard of holiness is taught, often a person who is living a sinful and self loathing life will up and leave as they cannot hear the truth of the gospel as they are being blinded. Parents are hurt deeply because of a child's prodigal living. This is a difficult process and I find that the only one to change a child's bent toward sin is Christ himself. The parent may very well have too let a child leave for Christ to do an effective work in their life. But often your child will not change, but God's standard cannot be compromised , yes love your child but Christ rules all things and know all things, even when we do our best. very well put. Your post cuts through all the nebulous rhetoric out there. |

penny wrote: well, Jim, you will usually find Christian folk siding with literacy, it was Christians who brought literacy through the bible, great men of God were martyred so people could have the Word of God in their language. Blumenthal should be recognized for his contributions, and his influence was greater than a little curriculum, but was a counter to the anti literacy movements of the liberals under multiple names, that is unless you prefer the illiteracy of common core. Just wanted to sat that I have been enjoying your posts since I have been back. |

pennnelope wrote: wow, some pretty sick stuff. have people lost their marbles? the guy was looking at child porn throughout seminary and in "ministry". they keep him around and force the abandoned wife to participate in the charade, and they don't help her get her feet on the ground? people need to read the scriptures and understand its purpose. Marriage is not a free for all for the greatest perverts on earth to have fresh meat on their disposal to abuse. God's people are to protect the innocent, this is why scripture promotes looking out for the widow and orphan. this pedophile husband made his wife into a widow. if he got his due punishment, she would be a widow. now they have to babysit him, not let him near children.... why would you bring someone into your midst that you cannot trust and force the abused to participate in it? The one thing they did right was to report him to the police. God does forgive, but there are some sins that require a searing of conscience.... truly despicable. Very well stated. |
