...But also remember being a secular business they can't discriminate because of race, religion, etc. Many businesses did that in the past, Christians and blacks have benefited from businesses being "secular." The HCA law needs to be changed, not the idea of secularism...."
Jim, I am missing your point? Are you saying that Hobby Lobby must offer the Birth Control?
So, if you contrast this article with the recent school shooting you could say...."It's ok to kill your own kid just not someone else's...well, unless your a certified medical professional trained in the art of child dismemberment!"
Government run schooling has such a strong hold in America that Christians will barely acknowledge that they have other options....you do not have to send your children to these government schools!
Great Sermon! This is a sermon I need to hear regularly. I like the idea of acknowledging God = know Him...in all our ways, every square inch of our life, 'know Him' (acknowledge Him). Very practical yet I need to be constantly reminded so I will be listening to this again. Thank you pastor
The Republican Party could have chosen someone who could have drawn a distintive difference between the two parties.....but instead, they chose Romney....and McCain...hmm
Send children to government schools and they will be taught the religion of the government...No surprise there! Question is, why do "christians" send children to government schools?
“I know people will probably lynch me for this, but Bishop Ussher, God bless him, wasn’t inspired by the Lord when he said it all took 6,000 years. It just didn’t,” Robertson said Tuesday on “The 700 Club.”
At least Ussher started with the truth, i.e. the Word of God.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
We can get upset with Obama or with this judge but at the end of the day who is it that passed this law? "Congress shall make no law..."
