Neil: The abolitionist argument is an argument against God read Paul in the new testament. Neil you are a humanist. I could feel sorry for you. but I don't. Tim: You are not cute. I Do not know where you preach. I do have sympathy for those that hear you. It is my opinion that you are lost. I shall be in Mobile in a few months. I will let you know maybe we can meet.
Tim: My folks have been in the Old South since 1622. And I also read a verse or two of scripture more than once or twice. Perhaps your memory is bad because of all the sweet tea. I hate sweet tea, Tim. Sugar does bad things to the brain. I don't go to South Miss anymore. When I was young I went a lot. I was born in Mobile. I only get a cocklebur when I deal with people like you that run their mouth about things they don't know about! In south Alabama we say frying pan not skillet. If this reply causes you anger so be it I have a little scot-Irish in me, we love to fight.
Neil: I have read your post, You say southern apologist have stated yankees were guilty. What do you say neil? Kidnapping has been an abolitionist argument for a 180 years. You cannot use scripture in truth that is just not in you.
Tim: the Africans that were brought to America were slaves before they were bough by Yankees or others. Neil you say Southern Planters were parties to Kidnapping. Well what about the yankees that made a very good living buying slaves in Africa. Do these people have no guilt? The first slave ship in America was built in Mass. in the 1640's. When did Southern Plantation owners build ships to bring slaves to America? Tell me Tim are you A southern Man are a yankee transplant. Do you not know scripture I think the answer is NO. I have heard you brag about how you curse satan. Do you not know that Michael the archangel would not accurse satan but said the Lord rebuke the.
neil: you quote one verse. Why don't you read the rest of scripture? I don't want you to think I am a perfect Christian, I am far from it. All you want to do is prove me wrong. Not difficult to do that, but you cannot prove GOD wrong. When you quote Ex 21:16 as you did you judge all slave owners to be evil. Tell me show me where Jesus Christ told any slave owner to free their slaves. And he would accept them in his kingdom. You need to read scripture. I have read scripture for over 60 years I can not find where GOD condemned slavery.
neil: Where do you get the idea I am GOD? When I have a question on right and wrong I go to scripture for the answer. Where do you go? The Old South Is where i live and where i worship GOD it is a place. Alexander Mcleod is not God. And you are not God as much as you want to be! You need to repent.
neil: I believe GOD. Alexander McLeods was not GOD. You present the new world order version of history. Race based hooey, You are a true believer and full of hate. Why don't you get down on your knees and repent. Those blacks that were brought to America Were brought by the will of GOD, he had mercy on them. They were taught to know GOD. Many became Christians in the South. We Southerners are hated because we taught our slaves Christ.
Beating slaves was the norm. That is pure slander. You just repeat abolitionist lies. With all that beating going on all the time, it seems to me that the slaves would have revolted all over country and killed their owners. What about during war what a perfect time to rebel. Why don't you learn truth.
The false teacher of that church,Marshall Blalock is in my opinion a hypocrite. Where does he get the authority to apologize for slavery . Also Know that Charleston was not "Ground Zero" for chattel slavery. If you had said New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts were Ground Zero you would be correct. Now come to the term Chattel- in the 1828 Webster,s the word chattel is personalProperty ,Slave is not cited there. The term "chattel slavery" is used by race hustlers to de-humanize slave owners. If you good folks would read scripture you would learn that GOD established slavery in the 9 chapter of Gen that the law of first mention. GOD is not the arthur of sin. This is the same old yankee story demonize the South to cover their sins.
Well, she's right: autonomy is the basis of democracy. The Quiet Christian confirmed that with, "...inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." That right of pursuit? That's autonomy. The Constitution and especially the entire Bill of Rights is all about putting limits on mob-rule democracy, giving people control over their own destiny. There have always been those on top who want to rewrite our Constitution to quash individual rights. The best trick they ever played was convincing those on the bottom to lend their voices to that fight.
JC from SoDak, Just as I ask Jon. Show Me chapter and verse. As for rebellion to ones country Thats crap and you know it! The Southern States succeeded from the union they helped form. Leaving is not rebellion, You bet the feeling still run strong, what do you expect? Self-righteous Hypocrites continue to equate Southerners with Nazis!
Helpful,Convicting,Gracefilled,Loving,Jesus This was a great blessing. The problem of the tongue helpfully stated, described and diagnosed. The gift of speech celebrated. The grace of Jesus the Word exalted. I was led to cry out for grace in this area. Thank you for this. The Lord help us.
