I'm glad your friend was able to address the root cause!!! Diet plays a huge role in our health. Universal healthcare is available- walk into a grocery store and buy organic foods. But that's not what people are crying for. They don't want healthcare, they want sick care. Cardiovascular disease, cholesterol, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, High blood pressure, etc. etc. have plenty of research backed studies proving the link between the disease and the diet and on top of the research there are personal stories of those like your friend. God knew what He was doing when He designed the world.

And for the naysayers, herbs are used in mainstream medicine. Foxglove, a beautiful flower with potential to kill, is utilized to make medicine for the heart. 😉

Adriel, that's a great quote. In fact, it argues against our current system. Healthcare as is is big business- one can't deny that. If you go in they'll give you a pill to quiet down symptoms without addressing the root cause. Sometimes this is great! Sometimes a pill is necessary in order to get the symptoms under control. However, it usually stops there and the underlying issue is neglected. But as your quote said, take care of your body first. Nutrition is extremely important in ones health (which doctors are not educated in despite their extensive education), and then God has give us many plants (not even talking about cbd) to heal various issues. Utilize the medicine (potions) God has given us first (Ezekiel 47:12) and seek out the stronger stuff then the knife if need be. That's not how we go about it though. Nobody here denies using mainstream medicine or refuses to use doctors, lol. They have their place. Euthanizing patients is not their place. Sedating those patients because the patients fight to live is not their place.

Chris, yes, there are exceptions. We are grateful for the few that can't be bought.

Doctors are another golden calf that aren't allowed to be question. This is the end of that train of thought.

Frank, I have family that are in the 1% too. We take care to not go around when we're sick (and not just for covidl!) but when we're not sick we hug them and continue our lives as usual embraced and encouraged by them as well. Justify your personal decisions, that's fine. They are your choices and I respect that. However, you can't (and I havent necessarily seen you do so) demand others live like you.
Typhoid Mary is an extremely small percentage of people and also ignores the fact that your average adult is home to 10-15 viruses a day. Who knows what you are carrying that could potentially harm the next person you come in contact with. Nobody was scared of spreading germs that may pose a risk to someone before the media told us to be. This fascination with a slim chance of something bad happening is unhealthy. You have a greater chance of dying in a car wreck or even doctor malpractice (which happened at the beginning of this pandemic and killed off many but was brushed under the rug as "covid"). Do as you wish with your family but you nor the government have the rights or authority to dictate another's life choices. We gathered and thanked God like many others did. That's our choice to make.
