Sunday night at our church, a little black toddler saw a little white toddler and gave her a big hug of pure affection. (If the lack of social distancing bothers you, thatâs just tough.) Those two precious little girls showed us more about how to deal with racism than Al Sharpton, Joe Biden or any of the other liberal ninnies will ever be able to do. âWhere no wood is, there the fire goeth out,â and libs have been throwing on logs for decades, stoking the fires of racial friction for their own selfish purposes.
Yes, Remo, you gave your âblind manâ illustration before. He didnât know muchâlike a lot of othersâbut what little he did know he really knew. And then there was the Ethiopian eunuch. He didnât understand what he was reading at all and had the humility to admit it. Good thing he did have someone who understood it to explain it to him, because he didnât get saved until he DID understand. And unless you understand the distinction between works and faith, youâll never be saved either. By the way, if youâre opposed to railing, then why donât you just stop doing it?
I didnât say DKH isnât saved. I said that I have doubts that he is. And Remo, if you think you got saved by doing right, then I have doubts about your salvation as well. As for the charges of antinomianism, there is no such thing as an antinomian Christian. There are obedient Christians and there are chastened Christians, but no antinomian Christians. Unchastened antinomians are not true children of God according to Hebrews 12.
I never said anyone was saved by his intellect, Remo. Apparently you are a bit deficient in the understanding department alsoâor just a contentious, deliberate liar who, like a couple of others on this site, thinks he can run others off through bullying and domineering.
Remo wrote, âDKH is saved.â Now letâs get this straight. DKH makes statements that indicate that he doesnât understand how to be saved, so I express doubts as to whether he is saved or not. You then ask, â Who made you the judge?â But then you yourself pronounce the verdict that DKH definitely IS saved. Okay then, Sweet Pea, who made YOU the judge?
DKH, if you are unable to distinguish between passages dealing with salvation and those dealing with discipleship, I question whether you are saved at all. Discipleship is about obedience. Salvation is about grace apart from any personal righteousness of our own. Disciples of Christ should by all means be followers of Christ, but no one ever got saved by following Christ. BTW, since your pride and/or fear wonât allow you to answer my question, Iâll answer it for you: No, you have not stopped sinning, and neither have I, and neither has anyone else on this forumâEcclesiastes 7:20, I John 1:8 & 10.
When you ask what ârepent of your sinsâ means, most will say to turn from them. When you ask what âturn from your sinsâ means they will say to stop committing them. When you ask âHave YOU stopped sinning?â they can either lie or say, âNo, I havenât.â So what does ârepent of your sinsâ mean?
