I wonder how much money was spent for that tacky "message." What was the point other than to irritate? How is this beneficial in any way? We are to speak the truth, the offense of the cross, in love. What a waste.
Yes David, not exactly edifying. Kind of in your face. Sounds petty and mad. We are the ones, supposedly, with the peace of Jesus and the hope of Salvation thru His wonderful Grace! Not sure what Mr. Ham is going for, I wouldn't have wasted money on it.

any young ladies reading this, the path is narrow and a Godly marriage with children is a blessing from the Lord.
Amen Pennned, as usual you are right on all accounts.

If you really love history, you could read the Word of God!
What's more beautiful than a candlelit service is the name of Christ. Please try to avoid dragging it through the mass.
Hairy, mass mess!
I do, in fact, read my bible daily and study the Word of God often. I do find time to read other things as well. I feel I'm very well read actually, including my bible.

I agree. Democrats or Republicans who act like this should be called what they are, which is not proper in polite company. But today it is a Democrat administration continuing wars. A big difference as I see it is, the war dead are counted daily by the media when a repub is sitting in the White House, and they are ignored while Obama sits there. Without personal research, who would ever know that during O's tenure, triple the number of dead has occurred in Afghanistan as compared to the Bush era? And it is O's admin that bailed out Wall St and GM, GE, etc. while letting sm business go under. Welfare to the rich now belongs to the Democrats. They figured out that the poor can't fund them.
I disagree a little here Mike, the TARP start in october 2008 when bush saw the fruits of all those years of trickle down and no regulations on banks and too big to fail lending institutions. Nothing really has changed so it's on obama too. that is just the thing. Everyone that goes to washington is at fault. One party or the other, it's the same thing. the democrats did bail out the car companies in america, and the loans have been repaid. The money sent to the banks were a thank you for their votes i guess.

I think it's frightening to think of that Hugh of a number being a stop gap. But if anyone on here thinks it was just the democrats they are deluding themselves. The democrats do need to control their spending on social programs, however, the republicans incessant need to build war machines and attack other people and their continued insistence on giving welfare to the rich needs control as well!!!

Kentucky was all in for this expansion project. It's bringing millions to the local economies and around 900 jobs to a somewhat depressed area. They started getting more and more grief from atheist groups and finally when they found that the project would discriminate in it's hiring the state pulled the plug. I just hope the Ark can continue with out this incentive.

When I first started out, I had a low wage job. I was a police officer for a small town. I also had 2 children at that time. It was tough. I barley made enough to get by and pay rent. I got a job driving a school bus and sometimes unloaded trucks for a business in town. You can't start out as CEO of a major company. You have to start at the bottom and you may have to get a part-time job to make ends meet.

I went once GS and promised never again. I would much rather pay full price than get in the middle of that mess.

Yes, you are right John for Jesus. I've noticed an itchy trigger finger on police more in the last few years. Not condemning the officer in Ferguson, they recently shot and killed a 12 year old in Cleveland for having a BB gun at a park. So many things could have been done by the parents to protect this child but the police drawing down on a 12 year old is beyond me. I think they need a little more training in a different area.

I totally agree Mike, it seems that christians in america give a buy to anyone conservative.
However my point was the supreme courts only job is to say if something is constitutional. They are not allowed to make judgements based on any other code or creed. Do you know of anything in the constitution that says gays cannot marry? I can't really find any.

I didn't know that about the Jesuit Priest Frank, that's interesting.

Living and longing for the Lord is my major undertaking as well.

Tennessee Wise wrote:
Listen to yourselves you are putting faith in Man? So you think conservatives are the answer? That's why we have not been delivered from this mess. You need to start putting your faith in GOD not the constitution or some political group that will turn on you for their own gain like a snake if it means power. Who's system is this? Satan's, all worldly systems are. Remember Satan offered Jesus all the systems. Ours is just one of many that Satan has devised. So lets reason together and turn our faces to GOD for relief not man. Remember Abraham looked for that city who's maker was GOD.
Awesome post Tennessee, wish more followers would listen. Michael Hranek is starting to say the same thing. I think the problem is a lot of people are not following the right god, my God is much bigger than any of this. We should all fall on our face before God.

By the way, John Y. This is a predominately conservative supreme court. They follow or interpret the constitution. They can't use the bible. There is nothing in the constitution about gay marriage.

I think you could go over board on all this stuff. You could really hurt industry. However, I feel the republican party and the republicans in general would have our cities looking like Beijing on a high smog day if you let them. We do need some regulation. I can also see with the new republican majority on the way, the government is still not going to do anything!

Thank you GSTexas, i was just reading those exact verses. here are some more.

The words of our Lord:
Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
Mat 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

I'm speechless, I couldn't even finish the article. The picture alone of that precious smile is beyond words. My 12 year old has autism. I love him with my whole heart and can't imagine anything happening to him. Let alone this... It was the mom's responsibility to protect and care for her daughter, not this! I'm a man, and I have more maternal instincts than this woman.

I do agree it is inappropriate for Republicans to ever want to be like your friends, the Democrats, who have steadfastly been in bed with the homosexual group.
As to your CNN prognostications, they are just looking to dismiss what happened by saying things will be really different in 2016. Silly people. Maybe they will come out with more, uh, polling data to back them up.
It all depends on the economy, people vote their conscious when the economy is good, they vote for their pocketbooks when the economy is bad. Fact of life in America!

Yes, Jim Hillary did do poorly, people are sick of elections, election commercials etc. I believe she is the one to beat in 2016. The republican field is so wide open. I'm betting Mitt gets back in!

Just got a good piece of news, a federal judge just ruled that states have the right to amend their constitution and define marriage in Ky, Ohio, Tenn, and Mich. This is from the 6th Circuit.
