Matt 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

2Thess 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that that day shall not come, except there comes a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Song of Solomon 2:4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.

Isa 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a STANDARD against him. That standard being Jesus Christ:-
Isa 59:20-21 And the redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.
:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My Spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.
Jesus Christ and His Word is our standard.

John Yurich USA wrote:
That statement is straight from the pit of Hell. Trump is a Christian because he became a Christian last year sometime.

John you are always ready to demonise any body you don't agree with.
The trouble of believing the easy believism gospel you hold to is that you have to accept anybody else's profession of faith no matter how shallow it is.
Trump is no Christian if he supports Homosexuality; you made it clear many times anybody that is not against Homosexuality is possessed by Satan.
Your own words.
I am opposed to Sodomy and all politicians who use Christianity to further their political ambitions what ever their political position may be.
This man is even going soft on his political masters Russia.

Didn't you mean to say "God will use anyone (Trump included) to get what He wants"?
The Most High being sovereign does use even the Assyrian's to chastise His people so even Trump is under Gods hand for God purpose what ever it may be.

The former Prime minster David Cameron was great at telling Christian audiences how important Christianity was to our nation and even claimed to be a Christian; yet he pushed through Sodomite marriages.
Politicians of all stripes will say what's expedient to what ever audience they are talking to and that is why we are not to put our trust or hope in them Psl 118:8-9.
They are like the Roman God Janus they face both ways at once.

Our help is in the name the LORD who made heaven and earth Psl 124:8.
All a Muslim terrorist can do to us is propel us into the arms of Jesus Christ; while condemning themselves into Hell.
Better to die for Christ than kill for the false god Allah.

This ban is flawed; its temporary and so any determined terrorist will simply bide his time.
Its limited; only 7 nations on it.
Saudi Arabia the biggest exporters of terrorism not on it. I wonder why?
Pakistan rife with terrorism not on it.
What about Turkey also rife with terrorists.
Many other Islamic states not on it.
All this shows the wests hypocrisy in its foreign policy.
The USA next terrorist is already in the country and he probably will be white, a teenager with a grudge against his school.
Yet our 'God is in the heavens and he hath done whatsoever he please' Psl 115:3

It did not matter which of the two candidates was elected they were always going to be divisive.
Trump will lead the USA into isolation from the rest of the world.
This may please some it may worry others, but I fear the west is on a collision course with its self.
We have abandoned any real fear of God and the true faith in His Christ.
God judgment is upon us, for what ever this man may do( for he is no Christian)it will effect all of us and turn out to be judgment upon the western nations for its turning away from the spiritual blessing Christianity brought to us.
Psl 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.

The Lord Jesus Christ (male) teaches us to pray Our Father (male) which art in heaven.
So I will stay with the FATHERS only begotten Son because I have no mandate from scripture to do anything else.

John for Jesus
Look at what Aninias said to Paul:
And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’
Acts 22:16
It's what one does when they call on the name of the Lord. God then baptizes them of the Holy Spirit which washes away their sins!
Faith is not a work.
The act of Baptism does not wash a way sin in its self; but its the blood of Jesus Christ which removes sin. Baptism is symbolic act of the accomplished work of Christ.
The thief on the cross was not baptised; but his sin was washed away by the work of Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice.

Paul was actually already born again when Ananias Baptised him; his sin was already dealt with by Christ.
Paul in fact was not asked to make a decision for Christ he had been given such a profound experience of conversion he was compelled to believe upon Christ.

God is God; He alone determines all things including who shall be saved.
This might not sit well with proud man and his opinion of himself; but as Paul says,
Rom 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
:22 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one v

John for Jesus wrote:
Jesus chose to save me after I believed in Him.
Please explain this text;
Eph 1:4 according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, THAT WE SHOULD BE HOLY
(not because we would be holy)

I washed away my sins by calling on His name and being baptized.

So the cross is in effectual; it mans decision which cleans his sin away.

So explain this text

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his MERCY he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
(not our decision)

John for Jesus wrote:
God doesn't show favoritism toward anyone. He loves us all and desires that all people are saved.
Perhaps you could explain the following;

Joshua 11:20 For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.

or speaking to Pharaoh and his people

Exd 9:15 For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.
:16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to show in thee my power; and that my name maybe declared throughout all the earth.

Then there is Malachi 1:1-5 Rom 9:11-18.

How is this not showing favour to one group of people over another?

God is not constrained by mere men's idea of what is right and wrong but by His Holiness, His thoughts and ways being far above ours Isa 55:8-9.

Or, they could have excruciating incurable pain.

What all 38% of them; I very much doubt it.
The sad truth is most so called evangelicals are ignorant of scripture; being Charismatic they are experiential in their thinking; suffering being contrary to much of their health and wealth theology.
But scripture says :-
Phil 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
Suffering is part of the believers calling whether it be because of persecution or the affliction in our life.
Our last work for Christ on earth will be that we die for Christ and in Christ. Not railing against our circumstances or situations but trusting in Christ that in all things God is working for our good Rom 8:28, even in our God given suffering.
