If a punk or a gangster harasses you on the street, yelling and going crazy, and starts smashing your car, can you legally shoot him? I feel like even if legal, on your property, a good lawyer could always make a case against you and destroy your testimony account, leading to a conviction.

Harry Potter introduced many people to reading novels. It is very relatable to young people, especially to many students who are attending public school, they grow up with Harry Potter. For many it is an escape to a different reality, where kids have power over bullies, lonely people find friendship in Hogwarts, and life has brave heroes who sacrifice a lot for the good of the world.

I will pray for you John Yurich, obviously you are doing the work of your father satan, Let the lowly brother boast in his exaltation, and the rich in his humiliation, because like a flower of the grass he will pass away. Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

That is all any human can do to live after death, make a statue or a grave. But real ressurection only happened once. Even today, Mao iTze Dong is just a distant memory to many, even with so much effort to preserve his name everywhere.

Even with a million bucks, it will be hard to convince people to stop doing what they love. I don't think you can positively control morality with money. Unless they invest that into making laws to persecute LGBT groups, not much can be done.

One thing we should take note is that Europe and it's neighboring countries experienced lot's terror attacks, people see what happens in France, and are on the edge. This shows that there is great fear in the people. As Christians we must have discernment to encourage unbelievers not to fear.

Many church goers and young bible students always argue for Tatoo's, saying it is good evangelistic tool, yet most of them would never be seen sharing their faith, wearing a t-shirt with gospel message, or having a burden for the lost.

Similiar to what happened in book of acts: "As we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit of divination and brought her owners much gain by fortune-telling. She followed Paul and us, crying out, "These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to you the way of salvation." And this she kept doing for many days. Paul, having become greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, "I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her." And it came out that very hour. (Acts 16:16-18 ESV)

I am always surprised how casually people submit themselves to spiritual authority. You have many church goers who make the priests or pastor or whatever spiritual leader their spiritual guide, every Sunday (or Saturday). I left the Catholic church a long time ago, but this was one of the things I asked myself, "Why did I submit to some guy in a robe and make him my teacher?"

I gave my mormon toy away when I left America. Yeah, Utah is a strange place, spiritually it was a scary feeling to visit it, especially in small towns where Mormonism reigns. It just felt demonic, hard to explain. I could not believe an entire state under a huge Mormon influence! How does that still happen in a secular America I could not understand!

There is a Mormon bookstore chain in Utah called "deseret" (I call it there's a rat), which reminds me of this pagan store. Lot's of weird trinkets, toys. I bought a Mormon on bicycle action figure. Anyone been there? It has many stores in western America.

Pretty sure Biblical Christianity is not dying out in Europe. If Christians exist in NKorea, they exist in Europe. But this comes from an orthodox leader, whose theology is on par with Joel Osteen.

So about Mark 13, if we can have a civilized discussion... But isn't it talking about events during apostles times and not a future event?

Like verse 1 is about the temple torn down
Then it talks about earthquakes and false Christ's
And then put's the context on how apostles would be persecuted, seems to me that already happened.

Verse 14 I think is clear that it is for the future, but anything before that just doesn't make sense if it is still to come.

Some churches are not worthy of financial support in my opinion because they neglect many things a church should do. The elders are not soundly equipped with the Bible, or they fail to do their best to live out a victorious Christian life. A church that is biblical, united, and itself is generous and clearly sacrificial heart beat, now that is a church I would gladly support.

I quit tv because PG-14 cartoons and tv shows became pretty much Rated R with many sexual themes, and curse words, just because it is bleeped for a fraction of second doesn't mean you can't hear the swear word, what's more they used to be around 9-11pm time slot, when kids go to bed, but lately been pushed as early as 6PM! But it was the sexual reference that made me stop watching.
